I go to access my wifi on my mobile phone and see the above Shock

Is it me they're talking about?

I recently set up my MiLs new WIFI and among the BT Fon and BTInternets I spotted a Dodderyoldcunt who I soon tracked down as the old feller at number six and he is indeed doddery at least. I am assuming whoever he paid to set up his PC did not like him much, nor realise this would be broadcast.

Blatherskite · 19/08/2011 20:56

Hoorah! Dh has just renamed ours to "Pretty fly for a Wifi" Grin

I can see 12 others and they're all rubbish. There are 2 BTHomeHub2's and 2 'TalkTalk's! #boring

Teaandcakeplease · 19/08/2011 21:08

Didn't fancy penispenispenispenislol?

Awww that makes me sad that someone wrote something so horrid for that old mans wifi whomoved.

Ha, good one Blathers.

My DH was totally impressed with the hovercraft.

londonmackem · 19/08/2011 21:18

We are Super Rams - not very original.Everyone around us is BT or Virgin - boring suburbia....

Teaandcakeplease · 19/08/2011 21:40

Oh "My Neighbours A Cunt" is back. Fighting the urge to not change mine, his is now title case, it seems.

GeetTallBird · 19/08/2011 22:03

How do you change a Sky router? I want to do this now!

BodyofChristLegsofTinaTurner · 19/08/2011 22:27

Glackley - no, but if your wifi has that many exclamation marks, I SUGGEST YOU CHANGE IT!!!!!!!

foolserrand · 19/08/2011 22:37

This thread has given dh one more reason to "strongly suggest" I spend less time on here. Thank you all!

GeeinItLaldy · 19/08/2011 22:55

Someone in my locality has gone with the minimalist but classic 'cunt' when naming their wifi. I wonder if it's a MNer?

Panzee · 19/08/2011 23:01

Can we all do Nice Ham?

geraldinetheluckygoat · 19/08/2011 23:11

one of my neighbours is "Bastard" Grin

ravenAK · 19/08/2011 23:34

Nothing interesting here.

Except handily there's a 'Mandy'. Having lived next to her for two years & only ever conversed (briefly) with her husband, I've never been 100% sure whether she was Mandy or Wendy.

rushofbloodtothefeet · 19/08/2011 23:46

Inspired by MN I really fancy renaming ours to

"Mycatisabiggerbastardthanyours"

Which will probably get them all whispering (because all cats ARE bastards and everyone has cats!)

MotherMucca · 20/08/2011 00:36

I have just remembered one: BTFON which always makes me hopeful that BOF is near. She isn't, as far as I'm aware.

gomummygo · 20/08/2011 01:51

Grin Tea, mine is ICanTrackYourInternetUse. Changed from "ImWatchingYou" about a year ago as DH thought that was a bit ambiguous and that I should be more clear.

You would be amazed at how many corporate administration systems have, erm, less than appropriate choices!

Patopopo · 20/08/2011 02:06

A friends wifi was named "We can hear you having sex." Not sure if the message was ever received.

DoubleNegativePanda · 20/08/2011 03:39

We don't have wifi but if we did I would name it "Hal". My neighbor's is "Charlie's Mule Barn" and my mom's neighbor's is "Pay for it yourself, Loser".

Before we moved there was one in our building of apartments called "My Ex Pays This Bill". I really liked that one.

EttiKetti · 20/08/2011 06:36

These are great!!! Our local ones are boring, ours is just Download Virus....to try put the knobs in the flat next door off hacking in again!

MumdiddyMum · 20/08/2011 06:57

What about simplicity? 'And You Are A Cock' should do.

MinnieBar · 20/08/2011 07:19

Our relatively new neighbours spend every Friday night - and quite a few others - drinking outside while very loudly discussing hit topics such as KFC vs McDonald's and singing along to eighties classics, also very loudly.

How about 'IfIcouldturnbacktimeI'dnickyourstereoyiunoisyfuckers'

MinnieBar · 20/08/2011 07:19

hot topics?

26minutes · 20/08/2011 07:20

Ah never thought of doing this, now do I change mine to something to with the pathetic parking round here or a smoking one, constant cigarette smoke comng in from both sides, front & back. Angry

For those asking how to change, click on the internet icon on toolbar, click on network and sharing centre. Under the picture of the network on the right hand side, click on 'customise'. Here you have the option to change name. That's Virgin, assuming it's the same regardless of providers if you are using windows.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 20/08/2011 07:26

Not one witty wifi in my street. Must do mine though!

Alibabaandthe80nappies · 20/08/2011 07:42

Our wifi, network and various computers are all named after Greek gods. I am pretty sure that DH won't let me change it, he is very particular about his network

I love 'pretty fly for a wifi'! Grin
