Oh my gosh they are so adorable!

Wish we could cuddle them through the interwebs... darn technology not clever enough. Grin

DirtyMart1ni · 19/04/2011 09:21

I wish photos on MN profiles could be enlarged by clicking. I want a closer look at the fluffmeisters.

Pinot · 19/04/2011 09:21

Gorgeous kittens.

DCs have suggested: Gingersnaps, Jess and Gobbolino for their names.

Oh how lovely. They'll be running up your curtains in no time :o

ChocolateEggyrolls · 19/04/2011 10:01

They are teeny - and totally scrummy - I suppose if you found trouble finding them a home am in the south east.

Although that being said I know lots of people who really struggle to find kittens! So am sure you will find a home really soon for them if you decide not to keep them Grin

Pinot · 19/04/2011 10:15

So far my Dad wants one, my Mum wants one and my neighbour wants one. And my dc's want 3.

Hmm Grin

MigratingCoconuts · 19/04/2011 10:19

and think half of MN wants one too Grin

Meow75 · 19/04/2011 10:27

Awesome job you're doing Pinot. And 3 super cuties to boot.

I like the White and ginge the best.

We thought our boy was going to be ginger, like 2 of his sibs, but he's more turned out a cream tabby. Utterly gorgeous, daft as a brush, but we DID have to have a rethink on the name of Jaffa (orange and seedless) when he was so pale!!

Northernlurker · 19/04/2011 10:28

Oh they are beautiful! Hope you get on ok with the vet and the little one.

ChocolateEggyrolls · 19/04/2011 10:29

I do like the name Gus for a pussycat - Gussy, Angus when naughty... Please????????????????????????????????????????//

TheOriginalFAB · 19/04/2011 10:39

My cat has also known to kill loo and kitchen rolls. Then acts all Hmm when we tell her off Grin.

SummerRain · 19/04/2011 10:39

SSSQQUUUUUEEEEEE!!!!!!

[ahem]

Lovely, really lovely. I've come over all broody now... don't tell dp but i'm glad it's coming into kitten season and there's a chance of some rescue kittens Wink

You're doing so well Pinot, not an easy job but fair deuce for taking them on.

My grandmother's supposedly male 5 month old kitten was found in a wardrobe with 4 kittens... sadly 2 were dead, she's bitten one's tail off and the remaining one had a badly broken tail. They just don't have the instincts at such a young age Sad. The kittens were dotes though and my parents took them in as pets for me (I was 9) and they were sweethearts.

My own dopey stray mom-cat wasn't the best mother either, judging by her size she started young too. When i first spotted her in the area she was pregnant but no kittens ever materialised and she was pregnant again very quickly so I assume she lost them all. The next litter were my shed kittens and although she made a good nest and fed them well they were filthy and infected by the time i got hold of them. She never picked them up and only did minimal cleaning. She also didn't play with them, despite being very playful herself. She does walk around the house with a toy mouse calling to her kittens now sometimes though, which bemuses them no end as they're all twice the size of her! I was there for the birth of her last litter and my god it was scary.... she damn near killed a kitten swinging it around by the umbilical and i had to stop her biting a few legs too.

Blimey summer I had no idea cats could be so rubbish at mothering - they have such a reputation for natural mothers, I guess most (vast majority) are, but your experiences tie in with the Mum here - just had no clue. No clue at all.

We always had cats when I was growing up but they were always spayed/neutered so I only experienced one sexbomb of a kitten getting pg at 6months - she was a good Mummy though - she gave birth on my brand new denim dungarees from Tammy Girl Grin Ahh, 1986 fashion - good times :)

Summer do you think I should keep them inside or would a bit of sunshine do them good? I was thinking of sitting with them in the garden to give them some Vitamin D but now think I'm confusing human/feline needs.

Any advice? Thankies

Northernlurker · 19/04/2011 11:10

As long as they're cuddled up to you I don't think it matters where they are does it? Do they need vitamin A - I suspect not. If mum was still with them she wouldn't be taking them out and applying sunscreen would she? Grin

They are very cute, when my children were young they also found some abandoned kittens in a box just across the road from us.we had the local paper round and they printed a pic of my kids and the kittens ,they were all found homes really quickly.Which seaside do you live by ? is it mine in Bournemouth [ eyes up one of the kittends]

TheOriginalFAB · 19/04/2011 11:16

Might they run off if you put outside?

Pinot · 19/04/2011 11:17

I live near Worthing - a village near there :)

FAB I'm going to hold them :) They can crawl a bit but not run
