I am 39w pg and dh and I have to travel to his home town to fill in some paperwork. the idiot has neglected to book us a hotel or even a B&B, we dont even know whether there is even a hospital nearby, at this rate I'll be giving rate in a bleddy barn!

part of me thinks he has done this on purpose (baby isnt his) AIBU to be flaming furious with him?

Jake ?

blackeyedsusan · 16/12/2010 21:46

Oh, just reread your thread. Gabriel involved with Elizabeth too? Bet her dh didn't speak to her for months after that!

stillavirgin · 16/12/2010 21:48

i know it all sounds rather far-fetched (hence the worry that I would be called a troll) but elizabeth (my cousin) has been trying for a baby for years. she is now in her 40's. her ds, john, is quite wonderful. she still cant believe her luck. apparently the conception wasnt entirely natural, but she is just grateful.

bonzo, dh has said that he will walk and let me ride the donkey all the way. I told him he better bloody well had!

tomhardy, i was not happy, butr what can I do? we are still very close.

avantia, I like that!

i did consider judas, but dh thinks it sounds sneaky.

Oi! Nothing wrong with an older Mum's. Their very good. My Aunt Rachel was Fab. Xmas Angry

Timeforabiscuit · 16/12/2010 21:53

I always had a soft spot for Judas - the kind of guy who would always profit/prophet from a situation

stillavirgin · 16/12/2010 21:53

nuttysanta, she is a great mum. she adores her ds and has very high hopes for him.

Have you thought about Early Years provision yet? Never to early to reserve a place at temple!

GandalfyCarawak · 16/12/2010 21:59

I think you should call it Nevaeh if it's a girl. It's heaven backwards, see?

stillavirgin · 16/12/2010 22:03

gandalf, I like that! i know dh would like a girl, but im certain this is a boy.

timeforabiscuit, I hadnt even considered temples! we shall be living in nazereth, know any good ones? I think we shall be using judas for one of our future children. this one doesnt feel like a judas...

tomhardyismydh · 16/12/2010 22:04

watch out though virgin lizzies ds is a bit preciouse though isnt he.

she has him as some sort of g&t prophet. your children may be forever compared and forced to out do each other.

its seems as her dh isnt talking to her she puts all her efforts into ds.

shes mixing with those apocolyptic types and luke is a very heavy influence. Just make sure you ds follows his own path, you wouldnt want him living under her ds shadow.

stillavirgin · 16/12/2010 22:06

dont worry tomhardy, this one will be a leader, not a follower!

JosephofNazareth · 16/12/2010 22:06

Well the donkey is ready. All packed. He cost me 1000 sheckels, so if you crush him with your fat arse there will be hell to pay!

stillavirgin · 16/12/2010 22:10

you know joseph, I deserve to be treated with respect!

does anyone know what the wifi coverage is like in bethlehem? I'd like to keep you all updated.

Don't worry, my 4yo daughter is married to an inn keeper and says I'm to ask if you'd like to use their stable? It doesn't have electric light, but she has a lantern and everything to show you the way. She says she thinks their might be an old manger knocking about in there too, which you could use as a makeshift cot. Grin

JosephofNazareth · 16/12/2010 22:14

Respect! Of course!

stillavirgin · 16/12/2010 22:15

betsy, that would be great! are there cattle? it may help the baby sleep to hear them lowing. or it may wake him up... argh, baby brain!

OP posts:
Timeforabiscuit · 16/12/2010 22:15

Its under the herald angels network - you should be fine, theres a great local Temple at Nazareth, but you'll need to know someone high up on the board to have a chance in hell of getting a place

stillavirgin · 16/12/2010 22:16

joseph, weve been through this. gabe explained everything to you. this baby is a good thing. you'll see!

OP posts:
stillavirgin · 16/12/2010 22:19

timeforabiscuit, the temple at nazereth is meant to be very good. we plan to go there for passover when baby is older. dh wants the baby to go into carpentry like him, but i would like him to go on to greater things!

OP posts:
sausagewrappedinbacon · 16/12/2010 22:24

Joseph - best wear some good, sturdy boots, I hear the roads over there are well dusty. Oh, and pack some earplugs - you're not going to get much kip with all that cattle lowing all over the shop.

MrsSnaplegs · 16/12/2010 22:25

I've heard some other things about the temple - something about dodgy moneylenders and stuff, I think they're a bit like ocean finance but a religious version Wink

blackeyedsusan · 16/12/2010 22:27

Carpentry is a good steady profession. Joseph is doing you a favour sticking around and all that. May be dc will go on to better things when he is a bit older.

Come on we want more hints on who real dad is.

Thinking about names, Jeshua has a lovely meaning, he who saves or something. Maybe ds will go into banking. I hear the money changing business is going well in the temple in Jerusalem.
