to go commando whilst wearing jeans

Had some low cut jeans on yesterday.

SIL said 'how do you wear those without your knickers showing over the top'

Me: 'don't wear knickers'

SIL: Shock HOW can you go commando.

She was seriously shocked that I didn't wear knickers. I said how the bloody hell can you - skinny jeans so a VPL would show, if you wore a g string it would peek out over the top and look horrible.

She made me feel a complete bohemian.

Whom that is it exactly lol

Pinky should they all scratch and sniff? lol

tyler80 · 11/08/2010 22:29

You need bucket loads of urine standing around for weeks to get enough ammonia to bleach things.

bumpsnowjustplump · 11/08/2010 22:33

tyler are you a chemist or a chemistry teacher? your knowledge on all things bleachy is amazing Wink

PinkyMe · 11/08/2010 22:34

Poor quality gussets that just fade with a wash??? Ok I'm grasping at straws here. Just can't really see the whole discharge thing, why doesn't it happen to everyone? My very old black M&S Knickers are still all black.

ItsGraceActually · 11/08/2010 23:53

Pinky - can't believe I looked this up for you, but here goes:
"The amount of mucus that a women normally produces in the vagina varies from person to person. If the amount produced is sufficient it becomes noticeable by staining underwear and giving off an odour"

I'm a gunky knicker-wrecker Blush

thesunshinesbrightly · 12/08/2010 00:06

TrinityRhino · 12/08/2010 00:29

ok thats what I thought but how?
I mean how?

AnyFucker · 12/08/2010 00:32

you just let it flow out, trin

I think you must have to stand over a grid in the street or summat Confused

or perhaps you collect the flow, in a suitable receptacle and fry your quinoa in it, then put it on a butty

I dunno

ItsGraceActually · 12/08/2010 00:35

Just read the article, Forgotton Tampon,
OMG, WHO FORGETS TO TAKE OUT THEIR TAMPON?

FellatioNelson · 12/08/2010 08:15

In defence of my 'slightly dribbly' fanjo, it is mostly little bits of wee wee, not gallons of ovulating gunk. Though I get a bit of that as well.Blush Still, not long now eh? 44, one ovary, and counting down unitl I get my first HRT patch.Grin

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 12/08/2010 08:20

Knicker-Bleacher here! Since I was a teenager. Pubes or no pubes makes no difference, coloured gussets still get bleached. Might start taking advantage of my natural bleaching ability and hold DP's stained shirts to my gusset for a day or so to make them whiter than white again.

Also a -bucket- water retainer.

Maybe the two are linked? If you have a flange which can retain, and release a lot of water, maybe you leak a lot of mucus too. I'm just thinking whether some Flanges are more "open" and have more of a natural flow.

sockmonkey · 12/08/2010 08:36

I have never gone commando [hoists up big pants] The day I did would be the day I end up in A&E or attacked by a big gust of wind.

GrownupsLikeQuiet · 12/08/2010 09:50

Owww my eyes!!!!!!!!!! I was happily oblivious to the camel toe reference. Went right over my head. I'm never going to be the same again....

[Grown up stumples out of thread seeking counselling]

FellatioNelson · 12/08/2010 09:51

at BHLS's new laundry technique! Sadly I cannot try it out as I'm a non-bleacher myself.

LindenAvery · 12/08/2010 09:55

Also admire BHLS's idea - plus biodegradable and organic - surely? Now that is one for Dragon's Den - just needs a name? and a slogan?

marantha · 12/08/2010 10:27

I don't wish to come over all Sherlock Holmes here, but I think the bleaching effect is caused by a reaction of natural female secretions and washing powder.
Incidentally, anyone else noticed that washing powder has a vaguely fishy smell to it?
