aww, just sicked up the reward bakewell tart Nothing for it, will have to get another one.

I hope you can't catch pregnancy from the chairs in here. I get pregnant at the drop of a hat, don't really fancy getting another one in when these have vacated the premises...

Chops! Fantastic news! Big do or small? And all at school??? Bet your house feels very echoey-ey-ey-ey.....

curiositykilled · 18/09/2009 11:27

lol yes... I think probably DTs will not be the end - not sure I'll be able to guard against any broodiness or accidents for 25-30 years! lol Maybe DH will have to have it chopped off, yes, chopped off...

Chopped off!
I can't even talk mine into a vasectomy, will show him this and convince him that he would be getting off lightly!

Hello Estar! How are you?
House is horrible. Dirty, dusty and racket from industrial fans drying it out. BUT, with the compo money we are hopefully getting some lovely new sofas in time for xmas when it's all finshed so it'll be worth it.

Teeney tiny do. Just, us, the kids, and my parents. We wanted to officialise it more than anything, been together nearly 7 years now. Then we're all off to the city for a nice evening out to celebrate.
dd and I have been having the most fantastic bonding time together buying dresses and shopping for accessories, etc.

estar · 18/09/2009 12:21

DS4 is making me chuckle - standing in front of Wonderpets singing loudly in response to 'What's going to work?' '.....Teeeapot!'

(Should be 'teamwork' for those unversed in the ways of the hideously irritating Wonderpets)

Chops, sounds lovely, especially the bonding shopping bit. How nice. What happened to your house - flood?

estar · 18/09/2009 12:25

Oh, and DH was always fine with the idea of a vastectomy until DS4 (supposedly the last) came along, and suddenly he keeps wanting more children. Now he's talked me into having number 5, and he's saying that eight would be a lovely number.... .

ChopsTheDuck · 18/09/2009 12:36

rofl @ teapot!

something in the loo snapped during the night so water was gushing out full pressure overnight, didn't realise til the morning when we had to paddle to turn the water off.

8? Wow! Dp would faint clean away at the idea of that! I've def reached my limit too. I like the fact that mine are a bit older now, I jsut wish the dts didn't have to go to school every single day! I really miss my time with just them, going to legoland, going swimming, etc. They are loving school though.

curiositykilled · 18/09/2009 13:03

Not sure DH will have a say in the chopping off.

Poor DH! We both decided we wouldn't be able to make a good decision about vasectomies till a while after the DTs are born.

I have just manage the school run on the bus again, bit more difficult this time with a tired DD who ran off the bus straight into the bus stop and may have given herself a black eye Phew, at least we are home and now I can have a little sleep.

chops - my eldest has just started school, been on half days for 2 weeks and will go full time next week! I miss him but I'm quite excited that he's growing so big. We haven't done anything exciting at home for a long time though! Legoland and swimming sounds exciting!

estar - Everyone needs a teapot! ROFL. I quite like wonderpets. Think my DH might end up a bit like yours, can imagine him not really minding another couple.

Chops . How lovely to see you...my two have started school now as well - just mornings so far, but next week they stay for lunch and then the week after they're full time. I was looking forward to it, but I think I'm going to miss them.

And you're getting married - how exciting! I loved the dressing up with the DDs when I got married - they particularly loved the make-up and hair-dressing .

Ruby, I was thinking about the meet-up, but I've just realised that it clashes with the DDs' ballet show, which is on afternoon and evening, so think I will have to give it a miss this year. Maybe we should do our own multiples Xmas meet-up instead...Edinburgh anyone . Seriously though, it could be fun...

I've just been to Pizza Express for the second time in 24 hours - dinner last night with some of the new reception mums and lunch today with DTs and some friends as a treat as it'll be my last week-day lunch with them. I had an Etna pizza both times (no wonder I'm not losing any weight ). Am a bit p*ssed off though - despite taking DTs pizza base with me, they charged me for a whole small pizza. Before they've just charged me for toppings. I couldn't be arsed bothered to argue about it though, but just quietly seethed.

MarsLady · 18/09/2009 14:56

Email the head office TK.

Oops! Best go see if I can catch the bus to school.

ChopsTheDuck · 18/09/2009 16:15

mine aren't even full time til after xmas and I missing them like mad! They keep telling me that 'we can do 'lunch club', mummy', as if I was on some sort of conpiracy not to let them stay!

I've decided on the dress, but don't ahev a clue what to do with my hair....it's fairly short, just below jaw length.

Defo agree, complain. We complained abt pizza hut when half the toppings were missed off a take away pizza and got a free meal for them. Actually, got one from MD too, when they got our takeaway order all wrong. Fingers crossed, you'll be off for a third Etna.

curiositykilled · 18/09/2009 18:55

chops - My ds was the same, he wants to eat lunch with a boy he knows in year 1 and keeps getting cross with me like it is my fault he can't. I am expecting him to be cross with me next week that he has to be in school the whole day.

I got married in Feb, had shoulder length hair then and just wore it down with a bit of a back-combed bump on the top - ROFL. I suppose you could go and ask a hairdresser or think about extensions, all depends how much of a fuss you'll like and the style of your wedding.
