On my way up to Chellesters in a little while. Just wanted to wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR. Hope 2009 brings us all health, a little bit of wealth, and plenty of happiness.

It has been snowing on and off all day here so coming home should be great fun.

Just popping in to say happy new year early.

Been a busy few days. Dts had a wonderful 2nd b'day on tues, we took them to a huge soft play centre and all 5 dcs had a really great few hours, actually so did the adults since we were allowed to play too. Also managed to pack in dinner and popped some shopping in to my grandparents.

Then today I investigated the possibility of having a bowling party for ds1's 6th birthday on valentines day (nearly £300 for his whole class so not much chance of it happening) and finally got a look around the dregs of the sales and picked up a few bargains using vouchers and points.

Dh has gone to collect my mum from work (buses have stopped running and she was on late shift) and is bring curry back and I have Tia Maria and diet coke on standby.

Oohhhh forgot to say earlier that in a mad moment of new year excitement earlier I had half my hair cut off into an above the shoulder bob, hasn't been this short since I was 16! I'll decide in the morning if I love or loath it. Dh and 4dcs also got their hair cut today £50 for the job lot.

Who needs wealth after that ?(it can be included in the happiness bit). I am going back to work on the 9th. Please say you'll all be here for me to pick up the pieces when I come on here for a moan. This lady is going back to work a new woman. No one uses a twin mumma as a doormat nomore!!
