mornign shabs!

pazza, you've reminded me of that age, when I would end up danacing and singing like a loony trying to get the housework done and entertain the dts at the same time! Lots of long walks helped too.

Such a sunny morning here. Really tempting to go out rather than preschool and gym. I need to lose the rest of the weight though. I am so chuffed with myself, went to tescos yesterday and bought a skirt in a 14! (I was an 18 when I started.)

ChopsTheDuck · 24/06/2008 07:58

My dp starts the packing too. Thinks we can pack everything a week beforehand and wear imaginary clothes for the rest of the week.

shabster · 24/06/2008 07:59

Hiya girls....not sure which outfit to wear today

the Girl Guide uniform or the Nuns fancy dress costume....

..no clothes left, all in the case and a woolly polo neck is not attractive

No, no, no!! You cannot spend hundreds of £s flying far away to sit on your bum by the pool!!

Reminds me, I must make a start on our itinery. A holiday is about cramming as many different sights and experiences in as possible. Can laze around at HOME!

One these days I will get through to that neerly...

Hola!

I am meant to be laying out holiday things. As you can see I have made lunch and I'm here Must get busy!

Shabs, as long as Em keeps talking......... there is not one of us on here who hasn't felt overwhelmed or like we don't know what we are doing. For me, thats a daily feeling and it used to be hourly

Pazza, you are at the bit where they are beginning to have more waking hours and, as you say, they don't know what to do with themselves. If you have time, just loll around and gaze and play and take photos and sing and watch telly and hug and in different rooms and again and again. If you are trying to cook/clean etc, I recommend buying one of all variety of things you can buy.....i.e. one swing, one rocky chair, one bouncy door hang thing, one play gym, etc etc. Then alternate them from lying down to being upright, different rooms etc etc. It does only work for short times though, there is always a nap or a feed or a hug needed.......

brucelovesfrumpygrumpy · 24/06/2008 13:19

Lydle, thats great news about your consultant. So glad he is going to take over the care again. You have hit the nail on the head.......you feel like you will have done everything. That is important.

And he sounds like the man to get you there.

As for bickering.....very healthy IMHO. You both have to let the frustrations out. As long as you are both able to see it for what it is and that you are both on the same side at the end of it then its all good. Its like Chandler and Monica.....he thought one argument meant it was all over. She taught him that it was healthy. And expected I bicker with my DP daily!! And we both know how to say sorry. Wasn't always like that, we have learned along the way........

Neeerly3 · 24/06/2008 13:19

you can't laze about at home, mad woman - no one lazes about at home thats WHY i need a holiday cos I don't stop at home......

brucelovesfrumpygrumpy · 24/06/2008 13:20

Hola Kelly Can you walk in a straight line?

brucelovesfrumpygrumpy · 24/06/2008 13:21

Lets give our sightseeing list to Kelly.......she can take photos, post them on here and we can laze around on our holidays and thank her when she/we get back. Everybody happy!!! [genius]

brucelovesfrumpygrumpy · 24/06/2008 13:22
