I'm near Poole . Dh is pretty good anyway but when dd4 spent so much time in hospital and I was with her,he had to do everything. Fortunately he is a good cook too so I never have to worry about that either.

FG I saw the Wiggles in Brighton 2 years ago and they were fab. They're coming our way next week but the dt's are at school and past liking them and dd4 is too young (although I could make encourage her ).

brucelovesfrumpygrumpy · 23/06/2008 20:16

Ah, my DD1 is too old (7.5). And the DTs might be too old next time round. Tis one of the reasons I need another baby LMAO!!!!

Is there something you want to tell us? Have you been sitting on that chair?

brucelovesfrumpygrumpy · 23/06/2008 20:18

My day also started off badly. A man had a go at me in the street (in front of my DTs) and I nearly clobbered him one. I didn't though........I smiled at him and laughed a little and rose above him. BUT I AIN'T FORGIVING HIM FOR HIS IGNORANCE AND LACK OF DECENCY, GRACIOUSNESS AND POLITENESS!!!!! Oh no. Manners are my big thing.

Neeerly3 · 23/06/2008 21:18

shabster · 23/06/2008 21:19

Ta Bakergirl - been waiting a long time for something lovely to happen in our family....often felt like giving up but being a Grandma has brought an amazing content and calm. Looking forward to many happy days ahead... also not done that for ages. I keep trying to stop grinning but its not working If my teeth were whiter I could be an honorary Osmond!!

Shabster

Hope it is ok to say that I had a little cry when I read your profile. You are truly amazing to have got through everything. It really made me think about how precious the LOs in my life are. You and your family really deserve this happiness! Must finish as getting teary again!

Makes me realise how much I would have loved my dad to see my LOs sadly he passed before he met any of them.......They would have loved him.

shabster · 23/06/2008 21:43

Thank you sweetheart....it has been a hard road but we are getting there.

In my opinion I think your Dad will have seen your children.....Im not very religious but I do think that. I think lost loved ones have the ability to watch over us and never 'go away' as long as we keep them in our hearts and never forget them.

Shabs, you will hopefully, finally, be receiving a package from me tomorrow or the next day (not sure we caught the post this evening) . You sound so happy these days and what a fantastic MIL you are to Em. I used to go to Surestart stuff with DD1 - it's fantastic and she's bound to meet lots of other new young mums just like her.

FG, your other thread really made me laugh

Hello everyone else! Sports day today at DD1's school - my first experience of such an event. Please remind me next year to go to the loo before attempting the mother's race - my pelvic floor really isn't up to such exertions any more {sorry if tmi!).

shabster · 23/06/2008 22:06

tk - Im praying for rain all day on Wednesday cause its Toms sports day - I hate school sports day...Toms not keen either

Ta TK - much appreciated xxx

Went swimming today and Isaac disgraced himself in the pool (he poo'ed )but £8 well spent coz they conked out when we got home, so did I, and DP cooked dinner. Happy days.
Have eaten all the ice cream already, choccy nuts and am still on the oink (expression for 'needing' yummies in this house)

accordiongirl · 23/06/2008 22:32

S H A B S T E R F O R M O T H E R - I N - L A W! Actually I like my quite a lot, but you raise it to an art form I'm sure!

Egg, congratulations! I was a bit concerned about that presenter lady though, shaking your jacob around something rotton in time to her speaking! He didn't seem to mind being jiggled and wriggled tho! Must be good natured getting to nestle into all that hair (whats a pineapple btw? Maybe i've got one without knowing...?) Oh and I love the babies in green! It's a great look for twins for some reason. Good to get away from pink and blue I spose.

Hello everybody else! Nice evening.

accordiongirl · 23/06/2008 22:33

on the oink! LOL

shabster · 23/06/2008 22:35

Oh by the way, it's my babies' 18 months birthday tomorrow! [chuffed to bits emoticon]

accordiongirl · 23/06/2008 22:53

Pazza - I'm sure you're doing rilly rilly great! 8 weeks is rilly rilly hard, imo. Spittoons at the ready, LOL.

shabster · 24/06/2008 07:10

Morning - everybody happy?

OP posts:
Egg · 24/06/2008 07:46

Morning all. Thank you again for lovely comments on my DTs (and me!). Indeed think green is a good look, am wishing I had a bigger version of DDs dress as it is 0-3 months and although at 5.5 months she can still get in it she wont be able to for long.

DS1 has sports day next month . He is 2.4! What can they do at that age?

Accordiangirl, I was also a bit worried about the presenter jiggling my jakey! He was getting a bit peed off by that point so she was apparently trying to placate him, but I think she was also terrified at holding a baby whilst on television!

BTW, I have had 10 mins sleep since 3:20am and then at 6:45am I brought DS2 downstairs and he projectiled his 5am milk all over the floor . He never normally eats til 6am, but woke early, downed it, never managed a burp despite my efforts, and then fell asleep so I thought he was ok. Seems not.

And DS1 keeps begging to go in the garden to play cricket.

Shabs, am so that your DH has packed. We are the other way round. I start packing for DCs a week before we go, do my own packing the day before, and DH does his about 10 mins before we leave (throw some pants and socks into a rucksack and presumes I have packed toothpaste etc).
