Neenz - you nutter - thinking of having another after twins

shabby hope you you are having a fab time

Happy Birthday Matthew & Mr Snorris

Egg · 30/06/2008 13:41

Neenz , be careful, there is a scary statistic out there that says you are much more likely to have another multiple pregnancy if you get pregnant within a year of your multiples being born (or something!). Glad it is going well for you. I was adamant I was going to be on a strict routine for my DTs but with DS1 as well it is impossible, we would never be able to go out, and I just do not have time to bath them all every night before bed. They do settle to bed by 7pm every night though thankfully, apart from the odd blip when one of them takes a bit longer. I always leave them to it though as am getting DS1 into bed so I don't really mind!

My house smells of decomposing rodent . No idea where smell is coming from. Kind of kitchen / downstairs loo area but have searched and found nothing. Will it do my DCs any harm if I have a rotting mouse somewhere?

I seem to have none of Tigs's luck with the Tesco men. Mine was due 10-12 today and arrived at 1pm. He was very nice but about the same age as my dad.

TiggerLicious · 30/06/2008 13:47

PMSL!!!

can I just make it REALLY REALLY clear that I am not going out with the tescos man!!!!!

LGT you are a bloody star woman!!! Thank you.x.

Oh . I honestly thought you were. Sorry Tigs . So who is the date with? Or did I get that wrong too?

As for rodent, not sure if that's what it is. We have seen mice around here and there, although very rarely. Downstairs loo has recently been refitted and refloored so don't think it is that. Nothing gone off in fridge. Washing machine just fixed so not blocked pipes there.

MERLYPUSS · 30/06/2008 15:35

Yeah like Shabby thought I was preggers
You need to borrow a cat for the rodent problem. Only not my friend's. He dropped a live mouse in the kitchen and it has lived behind the cooker ever since. (picture useless cat with nose stuck at the bottom of the oven and mouse having a party behind) Said mouse even steals cat biscuits overnight. Tss [rolling eyes emoticon]

MERLYPUSS · 30/06/2008 15:36

BTW - Happy Birthday Mattie & Mr Snorris.

Egg · 30/06/2008 15:40

LOL Merly .

How are the DTs? Did you get highchairs sorted?

VaginaShmergina · 30/06/2008 16:06

Message from Tiggs girls, her FH (fecking) has pitched up and taken the modem to her PC giving her a large amount of grief in front of the DC's and is coming back to cut the landline, take the computer and her mobile.

She is in the process of getting someone to come and make the house a bit more secure.

She is understandably upset but in control, have told her to call the police if she needs to.

She has asked me to try and make contact again later when the children are in bed. If and when I hear anything I will keep you posted.

Neeerly3 · 30/06/2008 16:12

thanks VS - poor tiggs

ChopsTheDuck · 30/06/2008 16:28

OOh, bdays. Wonder if I can use it as an excuse to drink? Happy birthday to shabs' Mattie and Mr Snorris.

Really hopes tigger gets something sorted soon.

We went fruit/veg picking yesterday. Was great fun, loved seeing the dt's faces when they pulled up carrots. Spend today chained to the cooker being a domestic goddess and making jam, pickle, soup, etc. Now worn out. Scone and jam anybody?

Neeerly3 · 30/06/2008 16:29

yes please - just the ticket for my MS

largeginandtonic · 30/06/2008 16:37

I know Ruby, to behave like that in front of the little ones too. In the words of our Dear friend Shabs.......

MALAKER.

Gonna be only so much we can say as he has the modem and therefore access to this forum too........

I am [email protected], if any of you want to email for updates if she's not around for a while.

I will then come back on here to confirm you emailed me before I give out any info.

This is Secret Squirrel Vaggy over and out .......

snorris · 30/06/2008 18:16

Grrr at Tiggs FH (like that phrase) . Does he know how much trouble he is in unleashing the wrath of Mumsnet?

LG&T-the 12th is perfect. Did you want to see if any other locals (or anyone else for that matter!) want to come along too?

If anyone "needs" an excuse to drink,it is also dd1's birthday tomorrow,my dad's on Thursday and my Grandma's on Saturday. Plenty of time in between to recover .

piximon · 30/06/2008 19:15

Happy Birthday Mattie.

Hope Tigs is ok, if her landline isn't cut I can ask my dh to bring our pc from storage unit for her to borrow.

VaginaShmergina · 30/06/2008 19:33

Thanks Pixi I will pass that on when we hopefully catch up later, I know she will appreciate that kind offer.

If I remember right you are local to Tiggs, is that correct?

piximon · 30/06/2008 19:38

yes not far at all I think VS. Is there anything I can do to help?

VaginaShmergina · 30/06/2008 19:44

Pixi, if you dont mind could you email me your details "just in case" IYSWIM. So I could get hold of you quick if she needs help, as I am 2 hours away ?

I really appreciate your offer, thank you.
