Hi Momma..............Shirley Valentine is one of me and Shabs fav films. I can see her running a bar, she`d be brilliant, and of course she is so good at the language

I know I'm not Shabby but Kale nits my friend.

WhenHarryMetGladys · 30/06/2008 01:40

I'm finally done! All packed. Its just a little tooo late to bath and shave legs so I'll have to shower in the morning and shave legs tomorrow night in the sunny isle TMI??? Trips I am very, very close to your piece of heaven. I will tell your piece that you just have it on the back burner, that you'll get there when you can.

I'm too tired to post more........

Shabs, lovely!

Tigs, don't compete with these daft wee lassies. Be you. Be totally and utterly you. How many people does he know who have grown 3 little gorgeous babies inside their tummies??? He can like it or lump it. You are too wonderful for worrying about a little loose skin. Every wonderful woman in the world has a tummy and the ones that don't aren't real or do nothing but exercise, have surgery and drink fresh air smoothies. Stand tall and be proud. Don't feel pressured.

And BTW, I read about Gok in the Sunday Times recently. His sister said he basically loves people until they feel better. What a man! Loving him.

Well my darlings.....I'm off!! I will miss you all, someone text me all the important stuff please

Alarm at 5am so thats...ooooh.....3.5 hours if I'm lucky Why do I do it??????

SHABS!!!!! So gald you are having a lovely time! Enjoy, enjoy

Tiggs have barely skim read but just to say i met my dh after having 5, my body is a mess, especially my tummy DH is delicious looking (think Pierce Brosnan), he was just 25 when we met. His last girlfiend was a pole dancer. I am totally with you on the scared of baring all. He had never even been with anyone who had 1 baby before let alone 5! I had to 'man up' and be brave. I kept turning the lights off, he kept turning them on He is still here and proposed just 5 months later and we are having our second baby All will be weel, just be brave and smile and dont talk about it all the time. It makes you feel worse, he really wont care.

Back later to catch up properly, just had to post that. Hope it helps Tiggs

Good morning girls - Tomster and myself have temporarily given in with regards to the sunshine. We just had a look at the thermometer, which is in the shade and it is 98 degrees. Had to coax him out of the pool for a little while with the promise of the computer!!

Trips - the lady who emailed you back is the owners wife....she just came chasing after me shouting 'Anna wants to tell you Sagapo, and she said Kale Nits [belly laugh emoticon] I think she mean Kale Nita because the a is next to the s on the keyboard!!' I just grinned and agreed thats what happened. I have just explained the concept of triplets without knowing the right words!!! They are all sat round having a coffee break and saying ' you know my friend Anna (read this with a Shirley Valentine accent) you know Anna who e mailed me - she has three babies all the same age.' So now Trips (sorry Anna) you are friend of Gloria, Maria and Tasoula!!!!!

Just want to say Happy 24th birthday to Mattie - we are going to raise a glass at about 10pm tonight (SO 8pm British time) Happy birthday my lovely, we miss you xxxxxxxxxxxx

Speak soon girls. The staff and owners send their love to you Anna and your three babies

Not too bad ta,LG&T. (Are you still up for a trip to Moors Valley?) For some stupid reason I'm convinced that something's wrong. I'm at the in-between stage where I don't really feel pregnant. M/w is coming Thursday (the lovely IM ) so hopefully she'll be able to reassure me.
I've also really had my confidence knocked by all this talk of my BMI. I had a letter for an anaesthetist assessment appointment as I'm such a "high-risk" . I'm not denying that I need to lose weight but my self-esteem has virtually disappeared at the moment. I just want to tell them all to p*$$ off. (Maybe I will once I've had my 20 week scan )

Anyway, enough of my troubles, how's things with you?

Egg · 30/06/2008 10:49

Snorris I remember that crappy in between stage. You don't feel movement yet, but you feel ok as past the sickness bit. I was convinced something was wrong both times. With DTs it carried on as even when I was feeling movements, I was never 100% sure it was both of them moving, so kept worrying one of them was not ok. Hopefully the lovely midwife will put your mind at rest.

Tigs have not read the posts properly, only the round up and the last couple, but are you off on a date with the sexy Tesco man? As LG&T said, if you don't go on about the bits of your body you don't like, he wont care. If you do go on about it, he may get fed up! My DH tells me that me talking about the wobbly cellulite etc does nothing for him, and he doesn't notice or care if I don't harp on. You will be fine. You look a stunner in your pics, and he obviously thought you looked ok too!

largeginandtonic · 30/06/2008 10:56

Egg are you not a whippet

Snorris tell them to bugger off, i am sooo high risk and frequently tell them to leave me alone. Looking forward to my first 'fght' with the consultant at 20 weeks >

Now Moors valley, yeeeees! When shall we go? Hve my nuchal fold this weekend and inlaws down. Next weekend? That would be Sat 12th?

Neenztwinz · 30/06/2008 11:58

Love the new thread title - very fitting cos my twins are eight weeks old tomorrow and I am already thinking I'd quite like another baby . Perhaps we should wait a while yet though...

The DTs are doing brilliantly, just this last week we have seen a real breakthrough with the nights - Theo and Esther now sleep from 11pm to 7am only waking once for a feed. It is amazing what getting a bit of sleep can do for your life! I have not had time to log on to MN for ages cos I have been spending every spare minute in bed. Now I only need a little kip in the afternoon.

I took Theo to an osteopath and he is like a different baby - he used to be so unsettled in the night. After feeding, he just would not settle, he would thrash about like he was really uncomfortable. The osteo said there was something going on related to the forceps delivery. I must admit it looked like a con cos it doesan't look like they are doing anything but he has been brilliant since, he just goes straight down after a feed and settles himself to sleep.

We are also doing Gina Ford's twins routine and I think the bath/bed part has really helped settle them between 7pm and 11pm. They used to cry and cry and refuse to sleep during those hours but since we started the bath routine they have been really good.

Neenztwinz · 30/06/2008 12:00

And I am still BFing exclusively - they are both putting weight on well. Theo is now 9lb (6lb2 at birth) and Esther is 6lb7 (4lb8)

Yes clearly completely insane Well done on the bf and sticking to some kind of routine. It does help when you have some sort of direction. The twins are the only children i managed it with, deffo out of necessity

Rubes how is the woofer?

Neenztwinz · 30/06/2008 12:30

Re having another baby - I suppose I think after having twins I can cope with anything! Having a singleton must be a piece of piss
