Mint, orange or ordinary hot chocolate?

Dont tell me - you're not allowed to use the kettle either

shabster · 12/03/2008 12:50

just talked to Nikos (barman on hols) on msn so am busy fanning my menopausal sweaty face - it looks like this

Also I managed 4 (count them 4) sentances to him in Greek!! None of the sentances were rude either. Think I asked him for a bottle of water - when I just wanted to say I was missing him - who cares

TinTerNetTigger · 12/03/2008 12:51

I go away for a few days and there's a new thread already!

Got the carpet fitted in the nursery on Monday and started moving stuff in. It is fab. Bought the curtains too. I am so excited! I'm 29 weeks now so maybe only eight to go . I have to keep reminding myself that I won't be pregnant forever and these DTs are actually going to come out soon and need looking after [gulp!]

largeginandtonic · 12/03/2008 13:18

Oh no Momma! Just how dire was it? Were their masses of people there? The last one i went to was held in that castle, ya know the one sign posted off the a38 just before Exeter. Oh poo i cant remember.

It was great! Huge selection and masses of people. I spent hours trawling. How disappointing fo you my lovely.

Anyone want a hob nob with their hot chocolate? They are the marines of the dipping biscuits - rich tea they are rubbish

shabster · 12/03/2008 13:55

OMG G & T - car parking thread!! There are some abrupt women on mumsnet aren't there??? pmsl at some of them - they need a sense of humour transplant.

Have they never watched the Peter Kay sketch when he talks about him and his mum parking at the supermarket? The end line is 'there's no age limit displayed anywhere'

Must admit my DS1 (26 yrs) parked once at our local asda in the mother and baby and ran in for milk - when he came out somebody had a go at him (probably one of that lot on the thread) and he said 'There's no age limit - thats my mum in the car and Im her baby!!'

Really, really hope that none of the sour faced lot on there read that

HarrogateMum · 12/03/2008 14:06

Afternooon all - this thread is moving on too quickly!!

Snorris - no havent managed to ensnare anyone else to the meet up, looks like just 6 of us (have you and TKb booked your room?), maybe closer to the time they will start to come out of the woodwork when they realise what a gigantic and fabulous piss up rendezvous they will be missing!

largeginandtonic · 12/03/2008 14:17

I know Shabs it is so frustrating on here sometimes. Poor old LadyofWaffle.

I'm up for a hot choc, Hugs has crashed and we have had no poo or sick for an hour. Till the next lot come back from school.

Oh bugger, spoke too soon!

ChopsTheDuck · 12/03/2008 14:37

what have I missed?
Have to admit I hate it when people use M&T spaces when they don't need to. Though I do think they are a luxury rather than a necessity they are a godsend, when trying to get the dts and ds1 in the shop in one piece!

I've been trying to paint, but keep getting interrupted. The dts are not in a very good mood and do NOT want to sit and watch tv quietly. They prefer the option of throttling each other.

Just been up the school to pick up ds1, as he pooed himself. They suspect a stoamch bug. Unfortunately ds1 does tend to have these episodes, which I did warn them about. I'm rather peed off that they didn't help him clean up at all, jsut handed him fresh clothes, which he put on over the poo. He is 5 years old with sn fgs. Luckily I was at home, otherwise he'd have been stuck sitting in it for much longer.
