Ive jsut discovered that the child I've bought a bdady present is not actually a girl. The mother assures me that he will love a pink pet carrier with fluffy dog and accessories though!

Hmm, ruby, thanks for the heads up, prob will take them anyway, but not for a bday treat then. I really want to go.

largeginandtonic · 12/03/2008 10:22

Shabs i wish you were my mum

Am sending elbow vibes to Momma, she will need them!

Ruby i am a bit like that, it's a case of 'dont ask me anything till i have my cuppa' of course it doesnt stop them, they just get short thrift

Hugo has just had me running back and forth to the loo with a runny bottom.

Now the sickness has started i startyed writing this post at 940! Oh why do i have another bug, if the one does the rounds i will be in for another 2 weeks

ChopsTheDuck · 12/03/2008 10:22

Oh and I already drank three coffees before I even did the school run.

ChopsTheDuck · 12/03/2008 10:23

Mine are only allowed out of bed once I'm on coffee #2.

Oh Ruby mine do that to me all the time I have to hide my as i reel out punishments.

I think i said (but you may not have been here) i went in to their room one morning as i always do to wake them. No one to be seen. They then leapt out of their wardrobe fully dressed to scare me Their room is right next to mine and i hear everything and i had no clue what they were up to. I had to sit down for fear of pant wetting it was soooo funny.

shabster · 12/03/2008 11:07

My DS1's lovley partner needs your help!

She is 27 weeks pregnant - and has.....the dreaded heartburn! It has already made her throw up a short time ago. First time mummy as well

Anybody got any tried and trusted ways of getting rid of it! I found that giving birth to my DTS's cleared my heartburn!!!

ChopsTheDuck · 12/03/2008 11:09

I used to carry the giant gaviscon bottles round with me, milk works too. I think there are some homeopathic remedies too. I avoided all things doughy and pastry as they definately made it worse.

largeginandtonic · 12/03/2008 11:29

shabster · 12/03/2008 11:58

Rubester - buy them a hamster - we have got a cute cream massive one - think he has designs on being a guinea pig.

Boboromp has mixed reviews eh - if it gives you 15 mins more on here - go for it

Tomstersbridetobe - glad you stopped by again. How are you doing????

shabster · 12/03/2008 12:24

G&T noticed you on the thread about the stillborn twins - how sad is that thread?

When I saw the active conversation going on I just knew it was the one I had been on over the week-end.

Life is shite very hard sometimes isin't it?

largeginandtonic · 12/03/2008 12:27

It is so Shabs, the poor woman and her hubby. I cant begin how hard it must be to have so many milestones reached even to get pregnant and then have someone snatch it all away at the last minute. I have no idea how anyone copes with it.

My heart goes out to them.
