Hi y'all

I'm back at work but since DBP (darling business partner) is out at a meeting I am havign a sneaky MN in the office before I defect to antenatal class.

But you lot keep making me LOL and I'm getting funny looks!

This one should be even better than the forceps one it's 'postnatal depression and the crying baby'. Would surely be better as a Sex-Ed class for 12-yr-olds than antenatal for mothers-to-be-who-can't-exactly-bail-out-at-this-stage, no?

shabster · 12/03/2008 16:41

Pazz - think Ive got both of them - post natal depression and crying baby

I loved the sheet I was handed in ante natal when I was having my last DS - It had a list of the things that can go wrong for older mums. Made for jolly reading. I came in the highest risk category on every point I ended up making an paper aeroplane out of it whilst waiting hours for my appointment - and got in big trouble off my mum, The Dotster - for being childish

I think I may have ADHD or should that be I should have an ASBO

PazzaPlusTwo · 12/03/2008 17:06

Shabs I also have my crying baby moments

such as when DH comes in and grabs the last row of fruit&nut out of my chocolatey mitts saying 'where's the other 385g gone I only left you here for 3 seconds?!'

Can someone remind me. Do jabs (first ones) make babies sleepy?

triplets · 12/03/2008 17:43

Phoned again at 4.30pm spoke to someone different, took all the details again and said that they were working late tonight with the CT appts clerk and would def get back to me! I really told them that this was supposed to be urgent10-14 days, here we are day 12 and the appt is just sitting on the system!

shabster · 12/03/2008 17:48

oh the useless fools helpful staff! Keep at them trips my love - like a dog with a bone. xxxx

My twins always had quite a big weight gap. Firstborn was 5pounds 13ounces at birth and second born was 4lbs 1ounce. Second born Gareth was sent home from hospital two weeks later weighing just 3lbs 15ounces - he wasn't making any progress in hospital and they seemed to think he was missing his twin. They stayed roughly 3lbs apart up to losing DT2. He weighed 11lbs when he died at 7 months - not too bad I suppose.

Not sure why you all needed to know any of that - see it dosn't take much too make me gab.

ChopsTheDuck · 12/03/2008 18:39

Shabs, he miust have been soo tiny! My ds2 was around 11lbs at about 6 weeks!

I wonder if mr Shabster should try some terrotorial marking to ward off Mr Hussain and his car! Cheeky bugger.

shabster · 12/03/2008 19:27

Yes twin 2 was very small. Mind you we didn't know he even existed until 10 days before they were born!! At the time I used to think he was thriving but when I look back at photo's now he was really poorly. I am trying to find a good one where he looks well to put on my profile - but am struggling.

You see re: Mr Hussainsters car - I have a master plan. While I am doing him a favour I am the one in charge - ha ha ha! He then owes me one - ha ha ha! There is a method in my madness

shabster · 12/03/2008 21:08

Hello everybody - the tomster has left the living room - he is in bed.

Everybody happy?

That sounds about right

frumpygrumpy · 12/03/2008 21:13

does my bum self look big shagable in this?

Well, its fun and games in our house. DT2 is over the vomit and DT1 is blowing chunks. Poor wee thing, she's been brewing this since Sunday, she's been so tired all the time. I'm going to try to get to bed soon as its been broken nights forever and DD1 wil probably take her turn soon.......

Triplets, that is rubbish. Memorise the line "you are playing with our lives here, we are understandably a bit on edge and I need your help" and lay it on them when they piss you off the most.

iamdingdong · 12/03/2008 21:15

oh here you all are, I can't get used to this new thread every few days business

shabster · 12/03/2008 21:15

Evening the mighty frumpster - I sang an ode to you this morning and you brushed me aside like an old pair of knickers

Cant wait for the Tesco man to cometh

shabster · 12/03/2008 21:16

Evening dingdong.

Rubester - hows your boboromp?

iamdingdong · 12/03/2008 21:17

evening shabs I'm rubbish on mn these days

shabster · 12/03/2008 21:18

shouldn't worry dingdong

We get all giddy when the 1,000th message is ready to come up. Last night I jostled my DH until I got in bother with him!!! He even asked me how old I was! Must admit he has a point!

frumpygrumpy · 12/03/2008 21:19

Momma, next time I am up the loft I could keep you in mind. I had some gorgeous Boden things for my DTs and some great Monsoon stuff too. Only thing is, my dad does charity trips to overseas orphanages every year and I gave him most of my stuff. No obligation, just if you fancy........

That said, I really struggle to part with baby/kid stuff. I even got sentimental about the sling I have both cots and the baby bath in the loft amongst other stuff, daft cow.

frumpygrumpy · 12/03/2008 21:20

Shabs, I loved it. I was grinning from ear to ear like this

frumpygrumpy · 12/03/2008 21:21

dingmydong! I meant to say......I never got an email from you! I have had from others though......Do you think my filter might have pushed it out? Did you do .co.uk not .com?

iamdingdong · 12/03/2008 21:23

oh fg that's ok then, thought you jsut weren't talking to me I'll try again, tomorrow porb as am off for an early night soon. Hope DT1 is better soon
