I'm vice chair you know!

shabster · 05/03/2008 23:22

Marslady - hiya. I got a touch too giddy cause I got the 1,000th - bit like Willy Wonkas golden ticket.

You ok Mars?

shabster · 05/03/2008 23:25

ladies dont be afraid of our illustrious leader Ms Mars.

Mars, I feel I shouldn't have to apologise for my bawdy behaviour this evening. I am, quite simply - Living my dash - I love that poem

MarsLady · 05/03/2008 23:27

lol

Well I'm about to be phenomenally busy for the next couple of months so I may not post more than my flying in and out of the door posts!

As to you Shabby. Do you know I've always had a soft spot for the naughty kids?

Now... genuflect properly and tidy yourself up! I'm a vice chair!

shabster · 05/03/2008 23:32

I am genuflecting all over my front room but it is not improving my behaviour at all.

I have an o level in English Language but I must have been off the day we studied genuflects. Probably was behind the bike sheds kissing malc bennett and drinking apple juice.

shabster · 05/03/2008 23:36

Im not bowing down on one knee to honor no bugger

fletchaaarr · 05/03/2008 23:39

oi - I started the genuflecting

MarsLady · 05/03/2008 23:49

Right... am off like a dirty shirt!

Behave! Turn the lights out and leave the choccie nuts alone!

shabster · 05/03/2008 23:52

Right my lovleys I say to you - Kale nitha (greek for good night) thank you for the laughs tonight.

My mind keeps wandering back to trips - let me know if you are ok love. Ring if you want, we are now posh and have electricity, running water and a phone in our bedroom.

shabster · 06/03/2008 00:01

Right lovelys - In the words of my leader, Peter Kay, I am turning off the big light, drawing the curtains and getting settled. If any of you wander in and think 'whats that awful smell' it was our illustrious leader Mars - she has been pumping and burping all night.

Get in touch soon trips - I feel worried about you.

Night night ladies, see you in the morning xxxxxx

estar · 06/03/2008 00:21

Phew. Finally caught up.

Okaaay, so everyone's gone to bed........

But it's so nice and tidy in here. Does anyone mind if I kip on the couch? Will be so nice not to wake up in pig sty.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz......................

Morning ladies - bit of a lie-in for me this morning

MarsLady · 06/03/2008 09:11

Morning... wish I could have a lie in today (for the next month really). Done the first school run. Now waiting to deposit the wee weapons so that I can go to work.

DS1 has parent's evening tonight. Y10 so it's all about the GCSEs. He's doing well so far as I know. I hoping not to get any horrid surprises.

shabster · 06/03/2008 09:28

Morning Mars - how are you diddling love

Year 10 - OMG - I remember that with DS1. One day you are rewarding them for going on their potty and the next you are buying them spot cream and making big exam decisions.

Tomster is already starting to have a mild panic attack about September and going to High School.

morning girls. I wish that flying carpet would take me back to florida. Or Spain. Or the French Riveria. Anywhere really, as long as it is hot and sunny with no decorating needing doing!

We end up in Spain every year now, cos it's cheap and ideal for the kids. Every year we find something new. Last year we went on a alcoholic fueled wine tasting drive through the country side and went to see an ancient roman ampitheatre.

I am sooo tired. I don't know how you lot keep going on so little sleep.

I will have to try duck again. Keep wanting to buy a whole duck, but need to get the hang of cooking small bits first! We're having bambi venison tonight.
