Good morning my lovelies and Happy Valentines Day to you all. "ONE" has already done the school run, waving to my staff as I pass the castle, will return there later as I have some very Important guests for tea and need to check on the firmness of the homegrown cucumbers for the sandwiches! In the meantime I have retd to my bijou pad to scraoe cat sick off the door mat, and have 3 bedrooms to muck out, ONE simply cant get the staff these days...la de da de da!

Ta mfgood - know that I am biased but he really gave me a reason to live after we lost our DS's - we are so close.

Told him last night that there isint a problem that we cant fix or find a way around.

Also looks like I will be looking after granbaby while his mummy goes back to work - yeeeeeaaaaahhhhh.

You know what he said last night? DS1 said (and it sounded like Del Boy from Fools and Horses!) 'Mam thats what I was put on this earth for' (meaning being a daddy)

Kale Mera trips - you sound in fine fettle this morning. Would you like me to pop down and pluck a few pheasants for you M'am?

triplets · 14/02/2008 09:18

How terribly kind of you Ms Shabster, job already done, the new apprentice is a feather pluckers son. Of course there is the silver to polish?

OP posts:
shabster · 14/02/2008 09:19

Am I allowed to spit on the silver whilst polishing?

triplets · 14/02/2008 09:23

Have you brushed your teeth? If so be my guest as I am low on Silvo. Must dash, the groom has just brought my carriage to the front, will return later.

I'll send her a text.

So MommaPoshBird just to let you know that doulas up and down the country are proud of you.

Overrun · 14/02/2008 10:23

I am confused by the new thread, but did post last night, but now think it was on the the old one.
So to summarise, hope you are all well. As for me and mine.
I have just had to concede defeat again and put dt1 pack in a nappy, as yet again he has started crapping every where
Dt2 I haven't even tried with for ages because I keep saying to myself that I will get dt1 more sorted first.
They are still sleeping on mattresses on the floor, with all their furniture bolted to the wall. So not much changes hey?!
I have also have lots more pooh horror stories to contribute, if the thread is a bit low on this sort of anecdote (doubtful I know )

mars - wasen't she ace. How posh are the presenters on there and how refined was MFG!! After listening I put our local BBC radio on - our presenters sound like actors on Coronation Street - ha ha -

MarsLady · 14/02/2008 10:24

So good to see you Overrun. I look back on the potty training days with horror! I think wait as long as you can. I'm sure they'll be out of them by school or at the very least be able to change each others.

Hi Mars, the only thing that keeps me going is, looking back on this time with horror, instead of experiencing the horror When were yours trained? Mine are coming up to 3 and 4 months now

these threads move too fast for me these days, jsut can't keep up

I'm off work with DTs again today, after DH did yesteray's stint, he will do tomorrow too so we share the guilt at being off work (tho he doesn't seem to be affected by it liek I am, must be a man thing )
