HarrogateMum · 24/02/2008 19:24

hey Marrrrrrrrsssss!! Welcome back!!

How did it all go? You missed some very bad behaviour whilst you were away.........

snorris · 24/02/2008 19:28

MARS!!
Good to see you back .

MERLYPUSS · 24/02/2008 20:39

Hi Mars
Hi peeps. Still hanging on in there. DTS have thrush, I have thrush (of the nips) and Mastitis. Oh the joy [add sarcastic grin here]. Had a journey out today as 1st time I in ages I felt like changing into outdoor clothes as opposed to slumming it in trackies and OH's baggy tops. (Who was the woman who said she would never be a leggings and t-shirt mum? Hmm ) The boy got coo'ed over by hoards of people and we stopped off for noodles take away on the way home. It was then we realised they had gone more than 4 hours without needing plugging or changing. I feel we will reap the 'pay back' tonight. They would be 5 days old if I had gone to term. Just over 3 weeks in real money so s'pose we can't expect too much.
Hope all are well and I will endeavour to catch up on what I've missed.
Don't understand this Facebook malarky. Someone please print idiots guide.

Yep.
Yucky drops for boys (OH has to do them coz it makes me sad when they screw their faces up), cream for my thrush and anti biotics too. I'm rattling with pills atm. But it is getting better. Could face the shower on my boobs this morning without being scraped from the ceiling so things are improving.

triplets · 24/02/2008 20:58

Welcome home Marsy, you have been missed, but you will be proud of us as we have been soooooooooooo well behaved........haven`t we Shabster?

shabster · 24/02/2008 21:03

Welcome home Mars - hope you are ok

You are right trips - behaviour on this thread has been outstandingly marvellous.

There has been no running riot, no perverted sexual behaviour, no alcohol, in fact once or twice I haven't even bothered coming calling for anyone to play out. In fact there have been times when it has been tedious.

triplets · 24/02/2008 21:09

Good evening Shabby, are we telepathic or what, everytime I get on here you pop up, like a ferret up Derks trousers!

OP posts:
shabster · 24/02/2008 21:13

Trips open the windows again - oh my pipes, tubes and stuff have never worked since I had my clan!!

Go up derks trousers - nay, nay and thrice nay - thats how I got in this mess in the first place.

I have your computer bugged - when you come on mumsnet a small light comes on here and a fairly quiet alarm rings through the corridors of Shabster towers.

shabster · 24/02/2008 21:15

Will be back in a bit - going putting tomster into his pit!

triplets · 24/02/2008 21:22

Indeed I do..............worse than mine and thats saying something. Now I must go up and make my peace with Becca, she caused a storm a while ago..........Trips heads up the wooden hill herself, though this is nothing like Shabster Towers.

galaxymum- I was induced with pessary at 38 weeks as I was so big I couldn't walk, look after ds and the asthma attack was the final straw.

from waters to dt1 was just under 4 hours, natural delivery with epidural, then dt2 19 mins later - much easier than ds1.

ds1 adores them, but it was drilled into him (by everyone) from early on how lucky he was to have two babies.

We really thought he would be jealous as dh works shifts so sees lots of daddy and has had undivided attention for 3.3 years. But he suprised us, they are his babies.

galaxymummy · 24/02/2008 21:42

Wow oogs
way to go
did you feel the 19mins went quick or slow?
So make a sibling feel they are special to be gifted with two?

oooggs · 24/02/2008 21:45

it was quick, I think , dts also had a present each to give to ds1 (new train & a t shirt)

If when we get asked questions in the street, ds1 answers them, and when he sees anyone pregnant he wants to know how many babies they are having, when they say one, his reply - well you aren't as lucky as us then

oooggs · 24/02/2008 21:49

two (or three) is better than one

are you expecting twins? soryy if you have said - lack of sleep fuddles your brain

triplets · 24/02/2008 21:50

Ok, this is rare but Trips is off for an early night, feeling abit fed up with DH but trying not to bite or bark at him as he is not well and is a little worried. Shabs, you have taken a long time putting DS4 to bed
Night night everyone
Night night Mars oh great one
Night night Momma, have missed our late night chats
Night night everyone
Trips realizes she has been watching too many episodes of In the Night Garden!
