Fill the wash basin with warm water. Dip your norks in and massage.

Another idea: fill 2 bowls, 1 with warm water, 1 with cold. Do some alternate dipping of said norks.

Hand express a little to soften. Pop savoy cabbage leaves in.

You could always chop them off and give them to those who are norkily challenged

Right... am off to visit the gorgeous DTs that were born on Friday. Mum bfing like a trooper! Can't wait to see them all.

End of December client threatening to give birth early (as long as it's not Christmas day early I don't mind).

Slept in till 11 today once my body and mind had wound down from the last few days

gruesomefoursome · 09/12/2007 12:23

you lot are mad!!! i am no where near ready for christmas, is gonna be a rush job this year have to ask, how far along was everyone when they found out they were having twins etc? i was six and a half months and it was the biggest bloody shock of my life!!!!!

largevirginbirthandtonic · 09/12/2007 12:24

Would gladly donate to norkily challenged ladies Any takers? Just had enough of the endless on boob off boob look around, bite, on boob off boob, look around bite... He just messes with me. Boobs are suffering and im just not enjoying it anymore. He is 6 months old so the guilt is only heart crushingly awful not entire being crushingly awful.

Motherhood is like a varying forms of torture and all in one.

Glad you managed to sleep Mars, hope you have a peaceful week to catch up. Chances are probably slim to none i would imagine. Xmas hugs to you xxx

gruesomefoursome · 09/12/2007 12:39

momma - where do you find the time??? even on mat leave????? I'm on mat leave and struggle finding time!!!!!!

on that note I have a cake to sort out for ds1's birthday on Tuesday

HarktheHarrogatemumissinging · 09/12/2007 19:24

oooh yes oooogs I definitely need some of that norkage.....I have complained on here before about my poor sad A cups which now are more like AAs since the kids....sob.

Just enjoying a nice glass of white, and the local Lions have just been round the street collecting with a Santa on his sleigh all lit up - you should have seen the DTs faces!! DH was telling them that at Xmas the sleigh would be pulled by reindeer rather than a Peugeot!

FrumpytheGrumpyreindeer · 09/12/2007 19:57

Mars.....feck off?????? PMSL, LMAO and everything!!

Momma, I love doing christmas homemade stuff with the wee ones. Good for you. We did christmas glue pictures yesterday and DT1 ate the ink pad from the Christmas stampers. I had wine open so no panic.

inamerrymuckingfuddle · 09/12/2007 20:03

inamerrymuckingfuddle · 09/12/2007 20:04

HarktheHarrogatemumissinging · 09/12/2007 20:18

I want a multiples meet-up!

What a riot that would be!! Could you imagine all the stares & comments that would create? How many children in total would that be??

Isawthreetripscomesailingby · 09/12/2007 23:08

Good evening all!
I have not been lurking, usual manic things going on here. What a night last night, it rained and rained so hard it came through our bedroom ceiling and dripped all night, got up put towels everywhere, just saved the Christmas presents that were wrapped, then had a power cut fot 5 hours! Dt2 then ran round the bedrooms screaming the lights werent working and could he have a torch, put him back to bed with one of Beccas glow balls, then DH has a nightmare, screams the place down(turns out he dreamt that Thomas in the dark fell over the banister and was swinging on the light), then somebodys house alarm went off, finally dropped off to sleep, then the power came back on around 5am, all the lights on that Tom Tom had switched on, phone says,"your call will be answered after 7 rings" aagghhhhhhhhh! Had a rare nice time this afternoon though with the boys, Becca went off to a friends house so I took them into town for a little shopping spree, their own money, they were actually soooooo good, didnt ask for big things, though Thomas overspent by £4! We never get the chance to do much individually so it was really nice, gave me hope! Yesterday Becca and I went, our first shopping spree together, I thought she would but toys but we ended up in Claires accessories where she bought clip on earings, three pairs, and lip gloss, then on to Mc&Co where she bought a pink glittery party dress and talked me into buying her another £40s worth! Harry was abit peeved that he wasnt invited, but it was sooooooo nice to go together, I waited over 20 years for my DD, I never did anything like that with my Mum, she was more for the "boys", I have 4 brothers! So all in all a pleasant w/end! Except Grumpy went off to bed when he realized I wanted to watch Cranford, the only thing I watch on TV, and he wanted to watch The Royal Variety Performance! Yuk! So when are we going to have a mul....tipple meet up, wouldnt it be fun?
