Good morning everybody!

I feel like crap! Have got a stinking cold. Also had far too many wines on fri night.Food was lovely at the restaurant, but it was one of those places where there just wasn't enough of it! Yesterday with my family was lovely, I'm rather sad they've gone - I only see them about two/three times a year.

Mother Christmas - it has to be doesn't it!

DD is in a carol service today, and I've managed to sort out someone to pick up ds1, so I am free to go. Kleenex at the ready!

welcome to gruesome.

We've actually started family meal times at weekends now - the kids LOVE it. Really should have done it a lot sooner. The only thing is, I am amazed at how much they can eat when everything is on the table and they are helping themselves! I made a enormous toad in the hole (roasting tin size), and a big mixing bowl of garlic mash and I only got one flipping sausage!

Joanne, the pics of your girls are lovely!

largevirginbirthandtonic · 10/12/2007 08:20

PMSL Chops, dh and i were just saying yesterday that the amount of food they consume is incredible! The dts eat as much as me and dd is not far behind. We really are moving in to mass catering.

Must go baby still to dress and toddler not quite ready either. Have about 12 snowmen still to decorate for the Xmas toddler party this avo too. No pressure

can u belive peolpe ask me if jamie who almost 4 and the twins who are just turn 2 if they are triplts

TripleyXmasTippleTigger · 10/12/2007 09:38

Think I might have the sniffles coming and my throat hurts

Triplets, sorry about the leak!! I have had the roofers here for a week and the rain has been quite bad so every night I have been sleeping with one eye open in case the dripping started!!!!!!!

B is having his first friend to tea tonight so I will have four five year olds instead of three to amuse. They have been little terrors lately,so I am not sure how it will go!! b and his friend are little monsters when they are together, they got caught at school with their feet down the toilet trying to flush each others shoes away so goodness knows what they will get up to here!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone have a problem with the me first thing at the moment? Mine have started arguing about who is first and crying if they are the last!! I have told them that no-one is last in this house its third, but it is not working!!!!!!!!!!!
Also the girls want to be different from each other so one has short hair and one has long, which was fine but now M wants to have short hair and P is going absoloutly mad about it!! Arrggghhhhhh!!! So now when we go for a haircut it is a nightmare as they argue all the way there and try and trick each other as to what they are having done so one ends up with a different style!!!!!!!!
Hellllppppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

isawjoannekissingsanta · 10/12/2007 09:52

omg how u do it i thought mine were bad

TripleyXmasTippleTigger · 10/12/2007 09:56
Meeely2 · 10/12/2007 09:58

meeely needs a hug and lots of people to tell her she's fab and not embarrasing at all.......

TripleyXmasTippleTigger · 10/12/2007 09:59

Whats happened?

Meeely2 · 10/12/2007 10:29

made a tit of myself at works do and now sat at work crying cos i feel such a fool.

TripleyXmasTippleTigger · 10/12/2007 10:43

Ahhhh Meeely, you are in good company then as I made a MASSIVE TIT of myself yesterday too

I don't know what has happened, but I'm sure you feel much worse than you really should. When your the one who has made a tit of themselves it always feels a hundred times worse than it really is. I'm sure everyone else is fine about it,and if there was alcohol about I bet their memories aren't that great about it anyway!!!!!!

Don't be sad,whatever it is will soon be forgotton {{{{{HUGS}}}}}}

largevirginbirthandtonic · 10/12/2007 10:55

Awwwww Meeely, dont worry we have all done it. Tripley is right, no one will remember. Just carry on as normal and pretend you have forgotten too.

Meeely2 · 10/12/2007 10:57

my puffy red eyes and soggy tissue might give the game away....oh woe is me....

Egg · 10/12/2007 11:00

Meeely - you are not alone. I spent many many years being the one who made a tit of themselves at the Christmas party. The only reason I don't still is I don't work, and am up the duff anyway so don't drink.

I was the one who fell down the stairs one year, and one of my baps fell out of my dress, and I was so out of it I just lay at the bottom of the stairs (this was in a nightclub btw) and one of the DIRECTORS had to pop my bap back in my dress for me. This was witnessed by my boss, and many others .

There are many other stories. Surely yours cannot be worse though?

Egg · 10/12/2007 11:01

Oh, and can I say congrats to Ladlemonke, from our due in Feb thread, who had her twin girls last Thursday at 28 weeks. Hopefully she will come over here for some love and support soon (must direct her over, although am sure she will not have much time for us right now).
