largevirginbirthandtonic · 08/12/2007 18:02

Welcome GF! Nice to have you with us, you will fit right in with us nutters calm individuals Sorry to hear about the lost babies, how awful for you. I would recommend more but then i am trying for #7. A very good friend of mine from the May postnatal thread we met on has just found out she is pregnant again. She has a 13 year old dd, so had a 12 year age gap and now will have a 12 month age gap! Am very of her.

Have been to dd Xmas fair this avo, was so lovely. Wish i had buckets of pennies to spend there. Kids all festive now, decorations up and Santa phone calls threatened on a daily basis

Hope you are all having a restful (pmsl) weekend.

Momma we had lightning?!!! Ahhh...but when you say morning, was that baby morning time or adult morning time? I'm afraid I was still under the duvet until 8.30!! I know!!!!!!! Although there was a lot of 'Keep the noise down' and 'play nicely' the dx3 did let me get a little lie in and I had the bed to myself as DH was at work!!!!
I like to sleep diagonally for some reason?!!!!!!!

LGAT number 7!!! That is brilliant, you give me hope

Joanne - FG is in Scotland somewhere - her exact whereabouts are unknown but she lives in a castle with a moat and a drawbridge

HarktheHarrogatemumissinging · 08/12/2007 19:09

doublekissesdoublexmaswishes · 08/12/2007 19:31

Evening all, thread is moving far too quickly for me!!

I have the house to myself and dts are tucked up in bed so it's absolute bliss at the moment.... Until I remember that I still have to cook dinner, tidy up, oh and probably sort the washing out but it's saturday night and I can't be a$"£d!!

Tripley, I too sleep diagonally if I have the bed to myself

MarsyChristmas · 08/12/2007 19:41

Whilst you lot have been corrupting the newbie (hi gruesome) I've been at 2 births.

All three babies were boys. A singleton on Thursday followed by salsa dancing till 2 then DTs yesterday (got the call to go at 5am).

Completely knackered. My DTs are doing a very good impression of not being asleep. Big three doing whatever it is they're doing in the back room.

No supper left for me so takeaway when they are all in bed with lots and lots and lots of wine! Not on call for a few days.

HarktheHarrogatemumissinging · 08/12/2007 22:54

Am sure you already have.

V. quiet round here tonight...........

Had a lovely day yesterday. Had some friends up that we used to have fun with at college and did early Christmas celebrations. We drove up to Penrith to the Rheghed centre, which was not as child-friendly (or should I say twin -friendly) as we'd hoped. Queued for half an hour to see Santa (dt2 does not do queues) then cafe was full so drove till we found a pub.

On the way back DH bought a duck as he refuses to have turkey at Christmas, because it's an American tradition, not british, blah blah blah.

Came home and while he cooked up an amazing feast, we put up the tree and decorations. Then had an amazing three course meal, followed by an impromtu sit-down version of duck-duck-goose which had us all crying with laughter.

Put the kids in bed then had sticky puddings and played games till midnight.

Lovely

I love dragging Christmas out and having many celebrations.

largevirginbirthandtonic · 09/12/2007 11:28

Hope it helps Estar.
