ooh I like that answer momma! I might use that one myself next time.

Yeah, he'll be right as rain again after a break. Just he cant cope with too much school - he gets very tired and withdrawn.

estarofbethlehem · 06/12/2007 17:17

I just finished hoovering and tried to switch the light off instead of the hoover.

My mother was right - you do loose more braincells with every child and they never grow back.

FrumpytheGrumpyreindeer · 06/12/2007 18:01

Thanks Kelly, I love the name. Don't tell her you've told me. I love being teased

PMSL estar I regularly put milk in the cupboard and I tried to put the Cornflakes box in the fridge today. Funnily enough, I never put anything other than gin or wine in my glass around 6pm......

BTW, DP is on the verge of being offered a London based job. I don't know what this will do to us. I know he is keen and I can't, and wouldn't, stop his ambition. But as a couple and a family.........we've lived that commuting life for so long and I find it so hard........

FrumpytheGrumpyreindeer · 06/12/2007 18:02

Momma, I love your mum. Clearly in charge. Send her up here

fg, come and live near me in berks

I thought he already worked away quite a lot? I def couldn't cope with it - would rather move, but everyones different.
dp won't even work in London now if he can help it, while the children are so young. And for us it's only hour, hour and half commute doorstep to doorstep.

ChopsterRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 06/12/2007 20:27

other option is, could he take it and work from home half the week? There are ppl at dp's work who do that.

Harrogatemum · 06/12/2007 20:52

gaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh I dont post for A DAY and you have a new thread with 134 MESSAGES ON IT!! Stop moving so fast without me!!!

LG&T - my little darling is just gorgeous thank you, she is now 1 year old, the cutest smiliest most affectionate baby that ever existed (in my eyes of course). On the flip side the DTS, adorable though they are are proving tough at present - DT1 will not be potty trained and is nearly 3.1.......DT2 is done and dusted but no. 1 keeps saying "I cant" when I try to instigate sitting on the loo/potty.....

Christmas is round the corner and I am so not ready yet, done some shopping but not loads, not got the tree/decs up, nowhere near it infact. I wish I could say hello to everyone and catch up on everyones' news but theres too many of us - whatever happened to the multiples meet up!! Chops, I am not ignoring you on Scrabulous, just not had the chance to get on there as sooo busy at work.
FG - now that you have thrown caution to the wind I am thinking of emailing you so I can find out if you are REALLY GABY LOGAN or if you infact live in a CASTLE as I thought......

Not even had my dinner yet and its nearly 9pm.......I would like some time for Xmas please!!

MarsyChristmas · 06/12/2007 21:02

he isn't real???????????????

Isawthreetripscomesailingby · 06/12/2007 21:39

Of course he`s real, last Christmas morning we found reindeer poo on our deck, who else would it have been?

Isawthreetripscomesailingby · 07/12/2007 10:40

Helloooooooooooo? Anyone around, yes its me triplets, do you like me festive name? Seems spookily quiet............BOO!

HarktheHarrogatemumissinging · 07/12/2007 13:14

I'm here triplets.....briefly between kids lunch and afternoon "activities" - not sure what they are going to be.......

And I have gone back to last year's Xmas name.........dull I know but had to be done.

Egg · 07/12/2007 13:17

Oh FFS. I find the new thread and there are already 139 posts . What is going on?

Did I even update you to say scan went ok on Weds, Nemo (boy) is 4lbs 1 and Dory (girl) is 3lb 6. But it has been confirmed I have a prolapse (I suspected it a while ago, things were looking even less pretty down there). Consultant says it will not affect my chances of a vaginal birth. Both babies are head down - hurrah. Anyone any experience of prolapse?

Now I will go away and read the 139 other posts .

Egg · 07/12/2007 13:17

LOL, just saw HM's post with a similar start to mine .

Egg · 07/12/2007 13:33

T&T! 11 days!!!!!!!!!! Bloody hell. Where does time go? I guess you are about to hit 8 months though. Glad last scan went well.

Mars, our tree is about a foot tall . We got a tiny one last year in a pot as it was DS's first Christmas and it has been in the garden all year, hoping it will grow with DS and be huuuuuuuge when he is 18 (or something). It is very cute.

Glad to see Bibi dropped in somewhere down the page. Was wondering where you were Bibi, as I think your DTs were born soon after I found out I was having twins, and then I never saw you again. Was a bit worried...

Welcome Joanne. Glad you seem to have settled in nicely . I only have one child at the mo , but in a month or two I will have three. DS is 21 months at mo, and DTs are due 2 Feb.

I have no Christmas name . I was all set to be EGGnog but it is already taken . Estar? Any witty suggestions?

doublekissesdoublexmaswishes · 07/12/2007 15:23

Hey I found you all at last!! I forgot the thread was changing and couldn't quite work out why no one had posted in 2 days!!

Anyhow, dts have both fallen asleep so just thought I'd pop in and say hello

Hope you are all well

Will go and catch up the 6 pages I've managed to miss!!

FrumpytheGrumpyreindeer · 07/12/2007 18:18

gruesomefoursome · 07/12/2007 19:33

Hey, i hope no one minds me joining in. I'm glad to see that there are other mums of twins that sound as daft as me. Have got dd tia who is 5 dt identical boys who are 4 and another dd who is 2

jingleoooggs · 07/12/2007 19:37

welcome to the mad house, make yourself comfy and grab a glass of wine - you probably need it

gruesomefoursome · 07/12/2007 19:54

Dont i just, i think that i need to be classed as certifiable and be carted off to the nearest mad house for a well earned break. I must be nuts as well as having the grusome foursome i am now awaiting the arrival of a nine week old puppy. Kids will smother the poor thing in hugs and kisses lol

jingleoooggs · 07/12/2007 20:00

blimey you mad woman don't you have enough to do? I know I do and I only have 3.

gruesomefoursome · 07/12/2007 20:06

Yep thats me!!!! i'm really looky in the fact that mine are pretty easy going most of the time, is lucky as i spend most of the day in chronic pain and cant do mucha nd they cheer me up watching them play and hearing them laughing, they are all so independant now its scarey I loved it when they were babies as at least you know where they were and what they wee doing. Am going to get a large glass of wine and have a laugh while it mixes with the morphine i've just had for pain, gets me p**%£d quicker
