I've been up since 2, cannot sleep!

largevirginbirthandtonic · 25/12/2007 05:13

OJ how lovely of you to think of us, much love to your family, i'm thinking of you all xxx

Has he been then?

triplets · 25/12/2007 23:17

Hellooooooooooooo.............is there anybody there? So quiet, must mean you are all comatose after your busy day? Hope you have all had a wonderful happy time, its been bedlam here and every year I say the same thing at the end of the day..........never again! Kids seem sooooo ungrateful, cooked cooked, cleaned cleaned, last of the family left at 7pm, got kitchen cleaned by 9.30pm, DH gone to bed, blotto, kids still awake(11.15pm) and I thought I would treat myself to a chat to you all and devour my new box of nuts, and there`s the disappointment, M&S have changed them to fairtrade choc and they are horrible, boo hoo, I have waited all day to savour them, and my home made Christmas cake is a failure, I need a holiday! Hope someone gets on here soon! Anyone?

largevirginbirthandtonic · 25/12/2007 23:25

Im here Trips....my day has been crappola. I am currently scoffing a giant tube of choc m&m's fancy one?

triplets · 25/12/2007 23:33

OO, yes please, why do we build ourselves up for this big day? Do you think many people really and truly enjoy it all? Though I shouldn`t moan, just popped over to the chat thread to see how OJ and Steve are, that lady is incredible.

largevirginbirthandtonic · 25/12/2007 23:37

So amazing, no idea how they cope.

I normally moan about having too much to do but today i miss the kiddies Their dad has them this year so we only had little Beau. I got a migraine and dh has gone to bed headachy and sick now!

Farckin Xmas. I like the first hour. Bah humbug. Are the little horrors angels asleep yet?

triplets · 25/12/2007 23:38

Me again, just peeped at your profile page again, such very beautiful children truly, and Beau is a darling, seems 5 mins ago you had him! I take it your DH is in the RN? What does he do? My DH was in the RN for 14yrs, spent alot of time in Portsmouth and Chatham when not sailing the seven seas!

triplets · 25/12/2007 23:40

M&M gratefully rec`d in place of disappointing choc nuts, so what went wrong today?

triplets · 25/12/2007 23:42

Yes, finally all is quiet in the Peace house, oh, just heard a shot going off outside?

largevirginbirthandtonic · 25/12/2007 23:47

Blardy hell Trips, hope it was a firework! Did it wake them up???!!!

DH is a Sub Lietenant, just been made up fromm PO. He has been in for 8 years. My dad was a 2 and a half, in for 25 years. Navy lot we are!

Pissing exp has given the lovely children masses of presents while claiming poverty to us. He earns about 75000 a year and pays 300 a month. We struggle tremendously and he just swans about chucking his money round. DH is spitting fury tonight. It is so unfair. I miss them, he doesnt deserve their smiles ans hugs...

largevirginbirthandtonic · 26/12/2007 00:00

Night Trips, hope you are ok, sleep tight and think of nice nuts

triplets · 26/12/2007 00:08

Nighty night, and thanks for the M&M`s! No sign of any disturbance, no excitement tonight, again! My DH was a CPO,served on Aurora, Ark Royal to name but a few! Sleep well and hope you have a better day tomorrow1 Where is everyone else? Feel they must al have had a good time

hello ladies

lg&t... goes around comes around. He'll get his!

Triplets... are you all okay? Was it just a firework? How are the ungrateful darlings?

Hey Momma... my family left around 10pm last night. I crashed on the couch.

We had a lovely day but then we divide the labour between us. Lots of lovely leftovers so no cooking for a couple of days. Just about to make some fresh bread sauce for the cold meat lunch. Yum!!!!!!

Love and kisses to you all. Hope chops got her plane and is sunny herself as we speak.

Seasons Greetings to you all!
Well I had an interesting Christmas. Dd4 ended up being blue-lighted to hospital in the early hours of Christmas Day. She's had a cough (who hasn't? ) but with her heart condition it's affected her more. She ended up on a drip & is still on a bit of oxygen. I had Christmas dinner at the hospital and my Dad sat with her for a couple of hours in the evening so I could come home for dinner here (most ably cooked by dh ). She's going to be in for another 24 hours at least,so Dad's doing duty again while I've popped home for a bit of "normal" life (and some sleep!)
Hopefully catch up with you soon.

jingleoooggs · 26/12/2007 13:26

lg&t - tosser!!!!!!!!! your kids are clever enough to see through that when they are a bit older

norris - hope dd is ok

TripleyXmasTippleTigger · 26/12/2007 13:38

LGAT Take it from me,when the kids are older they certainly will see

Well I had a great Xmas from start to finish!!! Except that i forgot to cook the roastvery long story!!!! LOL

Kids were up at 6.30am going mental I was just as excited!!!

Had my mum around in the morning, then we went to the in-laws,where my BIl's girlfriend put on the most amazing floor show by confessing that she had fallen in love with the wrong brother and fancied another one instead!!!!!!! Fan....bloody...tastic Real life Eastenders!!! So i sat back with my peanuts and enjoyed!!! PMSL

Then came home, got the pressies out,put them together and by the time I had looked at the clock it was 6pm!!!!

So i am off to cook Xmas dinner TODAY. Hope you are all having a fab boxing day!!!!!!!!!

MarsyChristmas · 26/12/2007 13:58

Tripley... PMSL! Your very own live Eastenders? Excellent... how horrifyingly excellent!!!!! Your Boxing Day dinner... what a way to do leftovers! PMSL

So much for my relaxed day. One of my clients is in dire need so I'm off there shortly.

Have a wonderful Boxing Day all

triplets · 26/12/2007 16:51

Hi all,
Quiet day here today, kids slowed down and DH mellow! I went for a nice long walk on my own this morning, no-one else wanted to come, but to be honest it was nice to be on my own! Cold lunch and struggling to find anything decent to curl up on the sofa for, so thought I would drop in here and see what you are all up to! Always feel that everyone else is having a good time and we are not, do you think that, I just wonder if its because I am soooooooooooo much older than you, when we had been married 10,15,20 years Christmas`s were lovely, but they are just not the same now, we have been married 30 years next Sept!!! I must make a few NY resolutions!!

MERLYPUSSEDASAFART · 27/12/2007 09:55

Very quiet today here. I am expecting the hoards about 1o/c for cold meat and salad dinner so I wont have to do much in the prep department - sisters have offered to do it all.
Had a good crimbo at sister1's although she did get a bit tearful on boxing day about my nephew it was quickly averted by sister2. Today they are coming to me, 30th Dec at sis2, 31st will be a lazy night in I think.
Have a great day peeps - catcha later
