I have pics of dt2 with lipstick all over his face, and covered in soot. He's even managed to make himself a little Hitler style mustache in soot.

It was good. Only one girl didn't come but she needs to resubmit so it was a shame.

Great company, lots of laughs then I went to salsa. Perfect evening out (which was good as it was a long "could it go more wrong" kinda day).

SantasUnderGodzillasBumcheek · 15/12/2007 21:45

DTD1 was reading her first ever 'Mary-Kate and Ashley' book today, when she piped up..."How come these twins actually like each other then, Mum?"

Awwwww. How sweet

Hiya all. I know that is is completley irrelivent but i wondered if anyone had heard about the little girl that was murdered in a fire in leeds. The little girls name was Kyra Moran and she was only 15 mnth old. A memorial page has been set up for her on a site www.gonetoosoon.co.uk and i am asking if you would go and light a candel for this poor little baby. it broke my heart to read it and know that it happened so close to me. How can anyone be so sick

gruesomefoursome · 16/12/2007 20:59

hey momma thanks for that. it makes me sick to my stomach the lengths that some people will go to but to hurt an innocent child beggers belief. its quiet round here tonight.

(cracks open a bottle of baileys and leaves ice and chocolte log)

inamerrymuckingfuddle · 16/12/2007 21:03

good evening ladies! Just returned from a night at my parents, who plied us with booze and food, took us to the panto and entertained the DTs when they woke at 6am today DH and I have decided we will go there every weekend from now on now to catch up, again...

inamerrymuckingfuddle · 16/12/2007 21:07

its been pretty quiet here this weekend hasn't it? Estar, my sympathies enjoy this last week everyone, before the madness takes over!

Leochristmaspuddingbelly · 16/12/2007 21:21

Hi all, another usual weekend here... me and dh seem to be fine during the week, but same pattern at the weekend. Both irritable and annoyed with each other, start sniping at each other and the dcs, DS1 starts being a complte PITA, i start wingeing that we should go out, takes us hours to get organised to go out (don't know why it takes me no time at all when I'm here on my own) and then once we are out we all completely relax, dts sleep in the pushchair, ds1 burns off energy and we all come home happy!

We got our christmas tree yesterday, went to the local forest where they were cutting them down for people, but dh refuses to put it up until 24th (he is so swiss sometimes - we also have to have real candles )! The tree is stading outside at tthe moment and not even in water, I guess its going to look a little less green than it should by the time we put it up.

Still waiting for some real snow here. Its freezing cold but no snow, so frustrating!

I spent a morning at work this week, it was strangely nice and I'm now feeling more positive about going back in January - partly I guess because I've had a couple of bad weeks - sick babies, bad nights, constant crying - where I've just been feeling that I'm not coping.

Pixi - have I missed your dts 1st birthdays?

Leochristmaspuddingbelly · 16/12/2007 21:30

Triplets, I keep meaning to say something about your tinnitus (just read your post about seeing the ENT specialist). I had a permanent washing machine in my ear for months and months. I went to the doctor, had all the ear and hearing tests done. He said it was (probably due to pregnancy, lifting and carrying baby) an artery was running too close to my eardrum. He prescribed me aspirin (which I didn't take). Shortly after that it disappeared. I hope yours turns out to be something like this.
