Thanks moggle,

Glad you are doing well. It's a great feeling when they are moving around. I feel them in the early part of the day, not constantly though. I still need to join the group too.

Pisces hope your 20 week scan goes well today.
Your twins are MCDA if I remember rightly? Hope your pregnancy is still smooth as poss.
I'm the one who has the sIUGR, I've actually been released back to my original mfm, as twins are still growing nicely on own curves.
I'm 29 weeks this Saturday and my cervix still hasn't been checked lol, I've been wondering the same thing for ages!
The group is good guys, 5 of us in it atm who are all roughly 28 weeks, 3 DCDA and 2 MCDA, lots of sharing of moans and worries etc!
X

Hi @dangle90 I’m due early Jan with DCDA twins too!! Although mine will probably be coming out around 28th Dec by planned c-section at 37 weeks! How’s everything going? 👍😁

Hey emzie! Congrats!** Not too bad, struggling with the usual things now, aching hips, heartburn ect. The girls were measuring small at last scan so we’re going again Tuesday to see how they’re doing. Do you know what sex your having?

So they’ve already planned your section?? I’m still in the dark about everything, just got told I won’t go over 37 weeks which is Dec 18th!

Hi @dangle90! I’m having the same, heartburn but it always strikes in the evening well after eating something which is bizarre! I’m a little bit sore in the hips but mainly when I’m lying in bed but I have a plethora of pillows constructed to help that!!

We are having 1 boy and 1 girl! Have the 28 week scan and consultant appointment tomorrow. Hospital have been very good so far! Yep planned c-section. I knew I wanted to go for that from the start as soon as we knew it was twins! Think from all my researching I think I feel it will be safer for the babies and easier for recovery for me if it’s planned, as long as the babies stay put until 37 weeks!!

Fingers crossed then!
I’m still undecided on what I do, all depends on there positioning really.
Haha I’ve just been and bought a mattress topper to see if that helps me be able to get any more comfortable on a night! I’ll be 30 weeks tomorrow!
Me and some of the other ladies from this thread are in a WhatsApp group now; if you are interested in joining send me your mobile number and we will add you x

Hi all,
Can I join you? I’m 31 weeks today with DCDA twin girls and I’m starting to panic about early labour. With my DD my waters broke at 36+6 so I’m expecting these 2 to be even earlier.
My consultant has tried to reassure me that just because she was early doesn’t mean these will be and has said he will book me in for a section at 37 weeks (first week of Jan) but not until my 35 week appointment. I like to be mentally prepared and organised so it’s hard to have this element of the unknown.
Getting to the point of being incredibly uncomfortable now. Heartburn, restless legs and waking multiple times a night all very real torments at the moment!
Sorry to moan, but it is nice to get it out there with people who (hopefully!) understand! Smile

Hi buildalegohouse. Of course you can join. Its a bit quiet on here as we have a WhatsApp group with about 10 of us on sharing our daily moans and groans lol. If you want to join that message me your number and we will add you :)!
Yeah I totally see where your coming from, I am almost 34 weeks now and the uncertainty of when they will come is killing me!! Like you I like to have everything organised and planned in my head lol!

They are great thank you! Greedy boys having 5 8oz bottles a day!
And luckily now sleeping all night!

How much are they feeding? Did you have them early as planned or did you go into early natural labour?

Im not its difficult but the hard times will pass i promise not 100% sure when for you but they will pass x

dangle90 · 06/01/2018 02:19

Had them at 37+4 By c section after 4 days of failure to be induced.

Congratulations on your babies! I have twin boys who are 1.5 years old. They are our first too and were conceived during our second round of IVF. So, so pleased for you! But totally understand how completely tiring it can be. Hang in there though, you're doing great! Routine (if possible) is super helpful for you both) and seriously don't be afraid to ask for help from family and friends! I know I was super independent when I first had my twins and felt like asking for help was weak but it really isn't! Wishing you and your babies the best!
