leo, don't you fret my love, your time will come when you can be on here more often and we will welcome you with open arms. Thats the beauty, we know. Stay strong, you are in the eye of the storm my love and you are doing amazingly well. I sympathise with windy problems, I took DT2 for cranio sacral therapy eventually with miraculous results. Don't rule it out (if they do it there). xxxxx

dingdong, chicken salad !!! allow me my darling, you have done quite enough already Its going to be fish fingers, I can feel it.

I must get some sleep tonight so I'm off to do my duties and carve a road to my bed.

I'm not jealous. I just can't stop throwing up.

MarsLady · 29/03/2007 03:38

My lady called me whilst I was at my tutorial so I have an extension, but I'll need you all to send me away until I've written 500 words. Then let me back to play for a bit before sending me off to write the next 500.

Hi Leo.... will email you when brain working again!

Estar... look after yourself babe and keep hydrated!

FG...... I'm guessing NO is the answer to your suggestion lol! Keep going though.... the next one's a charm!

Hi all.

The reason I'm on so late is that I'm just back from the hospital and I need to wind down!

Saw a Dr's name on the board. His name was Cutner... guess what I thought it said?

Overrun · 29/03/2007 14:03

Hello all, Estar I hope the nausea fades soon.
Waves to every one else, I know I know, I'm useless, I've had a skim though, so know what you have all been up too

tkband3 · 29/03/2007 14:12

It's taken me half an hour to catch up - didn't think I'd been away that long. Actually I've been lurking ( sorry mars) for a few days as I've been a bit stressed. We found out on Tuesday that DD1 hasn't got into the school we wanted, and that we moved house for . There are 60 places and 35 of those went to siblings this year and there were obviously lots of applicants who lived closer than us - we are as close as we could afford to be. So we got our third choice, which is not a bad school by any stretch of the imagination and has fantastic facilities...I have come to terms with it now, but was feeling v. and fed up on Tues and Weds.

Oh and I reversed the car into my friends garden wall on Sunday . We'd had a lovely day at their house but I'd had to reverse down their drive (with two brick posts either side at the bottom) 3 times already and had 3 over-tired and screaming DDs in the back so I misjudged the space and heard that horrid crunch. At that point I knew that unless 2 more bad things happened before Tuesday we weren't going to get our school (am v. superstitious about bad things always coming in 3's).

Anyway, wanted to say a belated happy birthday to your boys Kelly, hope they had a fab day.

LG&T not sure if you are on-line in Plymouth, so if not, will be thinking of you and hoping for news in a few weeks.

estar hope you are feeling better.

tkband3 · 29/03/2007 14:35

overrun, think you posted whilst I was typing...hope you are feeling ok after your op.

frumpygrumpy · 29/03/2007 14:42

estar, my sympathies to you. I had horrid morning sickness for the first three months of each of my pregnancies. I was only sick once but felt hideously sick morning, noon and night and couldn't face food. I survived on milk and the odd bit of mashed potato and lying down as much as possible. I tried the old 'eating a biscuit when you wake' thing and a ginger remedy from the herbalist but nothing helped. What did help was finding a food I could stomach (for me, banana milkshakes) and getting as much into me as I could face. I kept a glass with me all the time and when I felt I could manage it I would try to drink the lot. Are you normally like this when pg?

Hi all

Nice to have you back Overrun, I have the dreaded iron bar pelvis again today

tkb, shame. What was your third thing? I believe in that too.

p.s. Mars, I read it as that! I had to re-read to work out what exactly you were telling us

Masses of sympathy from me Estar. When pg with the twins I threw up so much I ended up in hospital on a drip (at 8 weeks) and thats when I found out there were two of them. I kept complaining about the sickness to my sister who had already had a baby and she just said you have to get on with it - I dont think she realised how bad it was, she was very apologetic once I ended up on the drip. At its worst I was throwing up every 10 mins, literally and every sip of water made me sick. What a nightmare. Luckily by 7 months I was just throwing up twice a day! I lost a stone in the first 3 months and the babies were absolutely fine - they were having a lovely time but I thought I was dying! I then threw up for 24 hours solid the day after they were born. Yuk.

So for DS3 I thought I might be okay as there was only one, but no - I threw up for 7 months again, but this time only a couple of times a day. I dont think I could do it again. I am now a master of the vomiting - always have a ziplock bag in your handbag and a hair band on your wrist for a quick pony tail! Lovely.

frumpygrumpy · 29/03/2007 14:55

rosmerrin, one of my friends suffered similar. There is a name for it isn't there? Can be serious. estar, here's hoping just 'normal' puking for you

rosmerrin · 29/03/2007 15:00

Hyperemesis gravidarum - it was awful. If you go for 3 days without keeping down food or water go to doctor immediately - they sent me straight to hospital. There are lots of websites etc if you google it!

rosmerrin · 29/03/2007 15:05

There is a site called Blooming Awful

My first link! Hope it works.

rosmerrin · 29/03/2007 15:06

I am so the mistress of my keyboard! Yea go girl.

rosmerrin · 29/03/2007 15:07

Ok and now I am talking to myself as well.

Kelly1978 · 29/03/2007 15:08

my mother had really bad morning sickness too. I think it is called hyperemeis(?) or soemthing. My mother had it bad, and was perscribed medication for it. A lot of woman in our area were, but it hadn't been tested properly, and it caused varying levels of congenital deafness in the unborn babies. I'm moderately hearing impaired. Off on a tangent a bit anyway! I thought I was going to suffer, but I wasn't too bad really, and I found that the herbal remedy ipec helped a lot. It came in the form of tiny tasteless tablets that you allow to dissolve on your tongue. Might be worth a try.

My boys have now discovered the Night Garden. dt2 especially loves it and I'mr eally glad to have something else for him to watch other than bloody cars! He keeps asking for macca pakka now. Did yours tantrum when it ended again tkband?
I can see it costing me a fair bit once they start doing the toys, etc.

sorry to hear abotu the school. I am still waiting to hear about dd's junior school.

Kelly1978 · 29/03/2007 15:09

Hi Kelly - I forgot about the medication - yes I had injections in hospital and then tablets at home when pg with the twins - they are both fit and well.

rosmerrin · 29/03/2007 15:11
