Afternoon ladies.

I'm feeling exhausted and low. Worked phone for my final decision and I decline their offer to start work. I feel like absolute crap. I feel guilty for feeling a little resentful. I even cried on the phone to DH who was lovely and reminded me that I can't do it all as much as I would like to be able to. He's right of course but I friggin' hate doing nothing.

On a happier note; I can now say DO is an official walker and DI has decided to copy his brother and is taking a few steps more and more.

triplets · 04/07/2013 23:00

:oChrist Shabs you crack me up......almost arrived in his school uniform :o
Bubby that's reat news about Mike, very good indeed. Mama how can you think of going to work...........you are going to exhaust yourself!
I have to wait for another appt in the post, they said at least 4 months!! Right racket going on at the back of us atm, the house is rented to a family from Lithuania, all bloody 200 of them, that's what it sounds like! When Janet rented the house she said "its a grandmother, her daughter and her little girl". Then six thousand "aunts" moved in and their various fellas............they sit out in the garden all weathers carrying on. The boys sleep at the back and I have had to lose their window because of the noise, its boiling in there. If it carries on past midnight I am going out to them, mind you they are the ones who scraped our car.......in the car park!
Chops and Rubes, hope you have got some factor 50 for your trip, boy is it hot out there! Last time we went through Death Valley it was 45*, I love that place:)

triplets · 04/07/2013 23:02

why is my keypad missing out letters?

MultipleMama · 04/07/2013 23:34

Trips - I know DH said the same thing. I love my job, it's all I wanted to do and I miss it. I haven't worked in over a year and as much as I love raising my kids, it's not the same but I know deep down these little unborns come first always.

I used to live next to people like that. Never quiet and always had bloody visitors!

Shabs - You're a real hoot! :)

Chops & Ruby - Enjoy yourselves!

DH wants to try and move twins to their own nursery but they're still breastfeeding every 2-4 hours a night and I'm not ready. Urgh.

triplets · 05/07/2013 00:04

Now there are 8 adults on a trampoline screaming their heads off Angry

MultipleMama · 05/07/2013 00:22

Tries to keep a straight face... that's kind of something I would do with friends/family but really inconsiderate at this time of night when kids are sleeping.

DD had a night terror woke up screaming over monitor. DH is with her so deal with twins who have decided to wake up hungry.

Morning girls!

I'm already burnt from last weekend, trips! Blush I have a very unsexy scaly and peeling cleavage atm! Bit nervous about death valley tbh, with temps exceeding 50 I'm worrying a tyre is going to burst or something! Def doing extremes this year, -16 or whatever it was in Montréal and now they saying it could beat records there this year!

We had/have tickets to KÀ too. Did anyone see the news about the acrobat who fell? Poor woman and family. :( No idea if it still will be running and even if it does, will be rather odd watching that final scene now.

I look like I've done a few rounds with Mike Tyson - I am black and blue from pole dancing! Grin Was fab though, progressing now to actually building a routine.

Our noisy neighbours of late are the bloody private school on the corner. They have a PA system that broadcasts to the whole of North Ascot. It was sports day Monday and yesterday some dodgy music for hours, I don't know if it was a play, or a summer concert or what it was! At least it doesn't go on late though.

MultipleMama · 05/07/2013 09:16

Morning ladies.

Holy crap do I feel shocking this morning between A and the twins waking more than usual I had to deal with DH's tossing and turning. I ended up being the big spoon last night while he cuddled K.

Today's plan is to spend it sat in the garden with twins, encouraging them to walk more.

Sokmonsta · 05/07/2013 10:12

Morning ladies.

Am feeling a little better at the moment. Upped the AD's so fingers crossed they even me out for a while.

I have a new manager 'managing my absence'. He's a guy I've worked with before and I feel he actually listens so I'm happy with that. Meeting with him next week. Bumped into other manager in Tesco of all places yesterday. I felt so uncomfortable, couldn't wait to get away and the guy was trying to make small talk.

Joshua is coming on a treat with his walking. He's gets more brave every day and barely touches the furniture to cruise around it. But still likes having the support there. He can charge down the hall using the wall as support. Mama- I can only imagine how well your boys are doing watching Joshua.

Jennifer has taken to standing up unsupported, in the middle of the room. It's very amusing as she usually does it when no one is watching. Then has her innocent face when she bumps down and turns to see us there.

Trips - could you 'water the garden' or would that not bother your neighbours if they're out in all weathers? We used to have a neighbour with a dog who would bark all the time. Drove us mad as its was because the poor thing was bored. In the end I think the RSPCA or dog warden was called and the dog disappeared shortly after.

Sokmonsta · 05/07/2013 10:15

Shabs! You make me smile Grin

MultipleMama · 05/07/2013 12:31

Sok - Dieter has the same look on his face when he falls down. Always a 5 second pause before he cries but with a kiss and a firm "naughty floor" he's back up again.

They're doing so well, very proud. I bet your proud of your LOs too! :) They grow too fast!

Slap some F30 on and you'll be right. I have to wear F45 all over I burn that easy haha. I always seem to go on cold holidays haha.

bubby64 · 05/07/2013 14:43

Soks/Mama, glad to hear your LOs on the move so well, as you are well aware, soon you will need eyes in the back of your head!!!
And also Soks, glad you are feeling better with the increased ADs, also that work is behaving themselves at last.
Mama - you are right about your work, I did the same thing myself, took a career break, and picked it up again when the boys were older.
Shabs - had to laugh about your comment about Tom Grin Glad the GP is finally going to see your parent's, and LOVE the way your mum thinks re post-it noteGrin
Chops - we got factor 70 for Richard when we went to US and Spain, as he is a ginger. Had to order it on line then, but you can now get it in some pharmacies. We were joking about his legs in work shorts this morning, he claims to wash them in Daz to keep them so whiteGrin Grin . I have to remember to out sunblock on my nose as sun reflects off my glasses, it blistered gor the 2nd time this year Saturday as I forgot, only now starting to heal.

Getting the Pontiac ready to take 4 girls to their prom tonight, I have just finished polishing it up, and have made a decoration from artificial flowers for the back seat and will put ribbons on this afternoon. R will get himself dolled up in his suit, and it should do them proud.Smile

MultipleMama · 05/07/2013 15:05

Can't even spell the twin's name, today! Urgh lack of sleep. Got the paddling pool out and Domeczek is so entertained by it! K an A won't be home until 5pm so enjoying I'm taking advantage!

Bubby - I use factor 70 on the kids. The eldest have fair skin like DH.

Think I'm gunna leave it a year then go back part time until they're in school.

triplets · 05/07/2013 22:35

Murray Murray Murray..............yay what a day for tennis, two fantastic semi finals, rally enjoying it this year.
Neighbours are out in the garden again, I phoned the agents up who are managing the property and they said there is nothing they can do, advised me to phone the council if it continues!
Chops, from where are you driving to Death Valley? Do be warned if its from Palm Springs end gas stations are few and far between, take hand fans, spray water for your face and lots of water to drink!

triplets · 05/07/2013 22:36

"rally" what an apt pun :o

MultipleMama · 05/07/2013 23:25

Did we actually win something in Tennis? A semi-final no less? Congrats, Murray.

shabbatheGreek · 06/07/2013 01:12

Afternoon. Not used to warm weather! DH has taken eldest two swimming. So, I'm in the paddling pool with Deiter and Domeczek who've fallen asleep in their rings. Adorable.

Finally ordered nursery furniture and contacted Mill Pond about Aubrey's night terrors.

Hope everyone is enjoying the weather.

MultipleMama · 06/07/2013 20:40

Shabs & Soks - Yup. I use Coppertone Waterbabies SPF 70 and Banana Boat Kids SPF 100for the babies. I recommend them to anyone with kids. K has never had sunburn and neither has A.

90? Holy crap! I can hardly cope with today's weather!
