I think this is the right thread, it seems she's talks more on here with you. My apology if not.

I am Luyzia's husband. She will not be online for awhile. She was admitted to hospital Wednesday early morning after I was unable to rouse her. She is still sickly and are in discussion of doing a transfusion. I'm sure as soon as she is well enough she will reply herself.

Mama' s hubby. Thank you for letting us know about Mama, you must be so worried, we will be watching out for her and news of you all. My prayers are with you all.

Soks - so glad you all enjoyed Thomas land, and that it was such a positive experience.
Trips - you also sound as if uou had a nice evening, I'm so glad, you deserved it.
Ruby & Shabs - welcome home to you both. I know you have a pile of washing etc to get through, but I hope you both had a wonderful time.
It was nice of Mr Mama to let I know what is happening, I am very worried for her as she always seemed to do too much. I just hope she is better soon and the babes are ok.

We had a great time at Alton Towers, after a very worrying, shaky start. First Bertie was very ill on Monday night, he had eaten something which upset his system very badly, and I came down to bloody diarrhoea and vomit all over the kitchen floor. We rushed him to the vet who gave him an injection and antibiotics to take, she wasn't too concerned, and she rang the kennels for us to make sure they were ok to have him still. The kennels were brilliant, they looked after him and Cleo really well. We then had a problem with the brakes on the car, so whilst I was at the vets, DH changed the brake pads, and we were finally away by 10.30.
We got there in time for the pm session at Splash Landings, Then went to the B&B, which was really nice (fantastic breakfasts ) then the 2 days in AT. Because of my ankle, we hired a mobility scooter, and we only had to pay for me and one DS, as DH got in as my carer , and we had a voucher for the other DS to get in free. They also gave us a fasttrack pass, which was a real blessing, as some of the popular rides had queues of nearly 2 hrs . Because it was issued to me, I had to do the ride if dh and the boys wanted to ride. I was brave enough to go on everything including Oblivion (never again!) Nemesis and The Smiler (made me v sick) just so they could go on them .
All in all, a great time after such a shaky start. Dogs are glad we are home, cats couldn't care less

Hi Bubby, glad you got there in the end! Never been to Alton Towers, my boys would love to go, we haven`t found a holiday and did wonder about a couple of days away to combine it with theme park for them. Can I ask where the b&b was, was it ok? Two hour queues . We all could do with a break, third week of the hols and the kids are getting bored, everything you do costs a fortune. Is your ankle still playing you up? No news from Mama.......not like her is it?

Oh mama's husband. Thoughts here are also with all of you. Hoping for a perky mama soon.

Bubs - I think I would have been sick too. It was bad enough doing the locomotion mayhem - a kids ride when all is said and done. Dh thinks I really enjoyed it and will be fine doing all the big scary rides in Florida when we eventually get there. Er, no. I just wasn't going to let on to a 5 year old that mummy really doesn't enjoy being spun around erratically. Or let on the same to a 3 year old who really wanted to ride the diesels but didn't like the sudden lurching either.

This weekend we are catching up with much needed routine. Jennifer has spent most of today screaming and throwing herself around as she was tired and also over stimulated with lots of people being around. James has spent most of today in various states of meltdown/headhunting or hitting, or clinging to me like a limpet. He's refused all meals too and was most content lying under a table, on the floor in the middle of a pub, cuddling a toy car.

Good morning ladies :) lovely sunny morn here. Think I will dust my bike and peddle into town.............feeling fat! When the kids are off there is too much pizza and cake!!

Trips - I swam 100 lengths a day in the pool, sat on my fat bum a lot, hardly ate anything (not cause the food is bad just cause its too hot to eat anything!!) sang too much on karaoke, and cried when I was boarding the plane home

Off to Death Valley today. Enjoyed experiencing Vegas but sooo crowded and I prefer the countryside! Bellagio customer service is shocking, def wouldn't recommend but it is beautiful and the pool was gorgeous. Saw boys II men at the mirage last night, they were absolutely brilliant and I got a hug from Shawn! ]

saw Ka the day before which was very good but a bit difficult to watch really - we booked tickets shortly before the performer died.

Wow Chops you have got to take a photo at the legendry sign at the entrance, its a surreal place, be through it three times. Take a small bottle for the boys to collect a sample of sand! Are you going to Yosemite from there?

Aw didn't think of the sand, but got loads of photos. It hit 45c in badwater. It was amazing, nearly as good as the canyon - went up Dantes peak, devils golf course, misquite flats, artist drive.
Now at a little old motel, bit if a step down from the bellagio, but the woman who runs it is lovely and recommended a great local diner for dinner. Off to Yosemite tomorrow, yep!

Evening Girlies. Rubes - sounds like you had a great holiday too, and I am getting soooooo jealous of you Chops.
Spent the day with the Pontiac at a local car show in aid of Walking with the Wounded, Prince Harry's charity. We met 2 of the ex soldiers he is going to the North pole with, both have 2 artificial legs, and they manage so well. Harry didn't turn up today, although he is often around (he was stationed up the road at Wattisham, and was often seen in town when here, and frequently pops back). Nice show, nice weather, good music, so fun.

Cold, grey and raining here Bubby - has been like this since we came back from Greece

What a sight I am, sat in the garden at 8pm and now have 4 mozzie bites on my face! Fed up with dk tonight..............very fed up. Need a holiday.........

Oh Gawd Trips - they had a good old chew on me when we were away. I DID NOT SCRATCH EVEN ONE BITE......was so hard not to scratch. Little gits need their bums kicking
