Congrats mama on crawling dt. My dts was 8 months, 7 corrected, when he decided to up and crawl one day. Was very funny. Dtd then took several more months and finally crawled at 11 months, 10 corrected after a month of commando crawling. Dts is taking off a storm though now and we're just watching for those first steps. Dtd has yet to pull herself up but I'm hopeful it won't be too long now.

Night out was brilliant. Ate good food, danced, drank a teeny bit too much... Slept late Saturday thanks to not having the dc.

MamaBlue4 · 14/04/2013 08:01

Anything for a Vegetarian on there? Ohhh I'll take a coffee too :D

I'll have to check amazon, never thought to chexk :)

MamaBlue4 · 14/04/2013 08:06

sok that gives me hope that it wasn't a fluke. Trying to encourage dts1 but he gets frustrated if on his belly too long. However he has learnt to bum shuffle. We shall see :)

shabbatheGreek · 14/04/2013 08:08

Morning girls.

Would like to say a special thank you to my eldest son who rang me at half 7 to CHAT -

Sokmonsta · 14/04/2013 11:26

I've done all the worrying lol mama. Dtd wasn't really rolling over when dts started crawling! She didn't sit until well after either. Naughty mummy can't remember but dts sat up, crawled and held his bottle himself one day - the same one. We were waiting ages. Jen couldn't really sit in her highchair until after Christmas as she slumped to one side. She's hyper mobile though so am expecting her to take a little longer to get there.

MamaBlue4 · 14/04/2013 14:32

I was never this worried/anxious with previous dc, I believed it happened when it happened, but this time round I'm constantly wondering if they'll meet their milestones.

I think boys started sitting at 21/23 weeks and by 26 weeks sitting unaided for quiet long periods. I'm trying not to focus on what they should be doing because I don't wanna miss anything or be a pushy mama.

Also, it wasn't a fluke! I think he realised that he can still do and was crawling cautiously for a while, he's still a little wobbly but his butt waddle so adorable! :) DH also believes me now lol

bubby64 · 14/04/2013 15:19

Trips- warm but very eindy here.
Mama- congrsts on onebof them crawling, it wad James who met all his milestones first, and Mike, who also has hypotonia, would finally follow on up to seversl months laterSmile
Shabs, - couldn't he just talk to Emma, rather than ring you that early for his chatGrin

Enjoyed SiLs 40th lat night... until then phone call ftom my friend who was having the boys gor a sleepover rang at 11.30 to say Mike had been really sick and wanted to go homeSad We collected him, but James wanted to stay. Unfortunately, she phoned me again at 7.30 this morning to say James was now also unwellSad Sad
We were meant to go to lunch with my cousins, who i hadnt seen for 6yrs until last night, but couldnt go. Thank goodness the boys are not due back to school until Tuesday

MamaBlue4 · 14/04/2013 17:30

bubby - I've heard about hypotonia but nothing in detail. Only, now I can't get dts2 to stop crawling. It's been a while since I've had to run after a crawler, and now need to get the "eyes in the back of your back" feeling again haha.

Enjoyed F1 with dh and ds1. - I think I've found the perfect present for dh in May...

Dh is back in bed, today exhausted him, so letting twins have tummy/crawl time before bathing them. Think I may stick dd in bath with them, 2 birds 1 stone and all that.

triplets · 14/04/2013 22:09

I quite miss bath times..........used to love putting them all in the bath together, wrap them all up in towles and they smelt so lovely....ahh. Now they smell of hormonal teenagers and I can`t tell you the last time I saw their bodies, no idea who is sprouting what!! Strange after all those years of bathng and grooming!!
Your quiet Shabs my friend.........hope all is well.......xx
Night night everyone xx

Bath time is the favourite thing in our house. Dd has some avon roll on paint. She loves them.

Not looking forward to when I have to stop :(

Hope everyone had a good day. Currently tandem feeding and typing on phone so going to bid you all goodnight xx

Sokmonsta · 15/04/2013 09:04

Mornings ladies. Off to the hospital with Jennifer later today for her hyper mobile follow up. Am positive as the little sausage has started trying to pull herself up over the last few days. She just gets her legs too spread apart to be able to manage it.

bubby64 · 15/04/2013 13:28

Hi Girlies. Can anyone tell me what makes pre-teen boys so reluctant to clean their teeth?? I spent 1/2hr last night with J, as he was doing everything he could to avoid using his toothbrush, as I am sure he hadn't been near a toothbrush for several days, despite reminders. I was quite proud of myself, as i stayed calm but firm, and i wouldnt leave until i had seen him do it, He was shouting and yelling , saying he would only do it if i went away and didnt watch, and i knew without a doubt if i did that it would be the brush run under the tap and a smear of paste put on his tongue to make it smell right.Hmm He is 12yrs FFS, not 2yrs!!

bubby64 · 15/04/2013 13:29

Oh, and Soks, good luck with Jens follow-upGrin

MamaBlue4 · 15/04/2013 13:35

Afternoon"shab*, how are you, today?
Afternoon sok Hope the appt goes well! :)
Afternoon, everyone.

Ds is at preschool 9 - 3, and dd went to creche at 12 - 2, and then they are staying at DG's until 5. So, it's just me, dh and the twins and since dh is currently passed out on the sofa and the twins are passed out in their bouncers. I'm completely bored. Hoping they wake up soon so I can take them out.

triplets · 15/04/2013 13:39

Afternoon ladies! Totally wasted my morning, walked with my friend into town as its blissfully warm here today and she forced me to have tea and a large slice of lemon polenta cake :o Now the hoover is looking at me...........its soo rude to stare! Hope Jens appt is a good one! x

MamaBlue4 · 15/04/2013 16:22

I wish someone would force me. I could just eat a slice of chocolate fudge, peanut butter cake.

Took twins to park where they made friends with a little girl who kept laughing at their sunglasses. Plan is to come back tomorrow with d who's the sane age. Can I just say the dad isn't bad to look at either lol. I blame hormones!

MamaBlue4 · 15/04/2013 16:24

Damn touch screen phone. I hate them - why did I buy one?! I want my blackberry back lol

Sokmonsta · 15/04/2013 20:37

Appt went well. Hospital are happy not to see her until her 2 year development check unless, same as physio said, she starts toe walking or isn't walking by the time she's 18 months. We've got to encourage her to pull herself up and stand.

MamaBlue4 · 15/04/2013 20:56

That's positive news, sok. I'm happy for you, must be a load of your mind.

ds use to walk on his toes, and was told constantly to walk properly luckily he grew out of it. Such a demanding child. Such a vava's boy! :)

triplets · 15/04/2013 22:46

Wonderful news, well done Jen! One of my trio didnt just walk on his toes, he ran, did it until he was about 3! Hes like a whippet now! I am supposed to be geting an early night, falling asleep by 8.30pm....zzzzzzzzz

shabbatheGreek · 16/04/2013 06:43

Morning girls xx

Great news Sok x

Sokmonsta · 16/04/2013 08:22

Oh joyous morning ladies! Dc are back at school today. Dh is off work and I could cheerfully throttle him already :)
