Do your best to not worry love. I also know that its easier said than done. Before now I have got up in the early hours and got a massive piece of paper and a pen. Made a list of what is worrying me....wrote down next to my worries how I can resolve them. If I cant resolve them I write that down as well. It gives me things to focus on rather than having it all spinning in my head. Worth giving it a try? xx

Got home to message on the phone from school, James has been kicked in his hand and needs to go to hospital. Had to phone dh who is having a nice quiet morning at the allotment, grumpy as hell as its interupted his day! Guess they are down there by now.......oh joy!

Thyanks Shabs, thatwould prob help, but also wake snoring DH, who, when overstressed, just seems to need to shut down and goes to sleep! He is like a bear with a sore head if woke
Trips- hope DS's hand ok, we are really going through it on here lately, just one disaster after another!
Insurers have already had a letter from other party, stating the entire accident was DH's fault.The women DH spoke to said it sound like a 50/50 claim, but it will be difficult to pursuade other party of this, she has said for DH to speak to their legal department to see what they suggest, as if the claim goes all on DH, it will load his (and my!) insurance premiums and we would be paying extra for the next 5 yrs. She also said if DH takes a police "Driver Awareness" course, it may help things, He is an advanced driver already, so it would just be a day off work to tick another of their boxes.

Oh Bubby, I can really feel how afraid and worried you are. Just do what is right, they are angry and pushing. Is there not a legal type section on here you could get some advice from, MN can usually come up with something. James was three hours in A&E, they think there is no fracture, have bandaged it up and said keep it on for three days..............thats it! Would have to be his right hand!Off to school in the morning, 30 new names to learn!

I completely lost my rag with the kids last night, (rare for me) hope today is a better day! I will NOT be their skivvy and they will do as they are told!

Goodmorning all...........real change in the weather, dark, cloudy and cool.........noooooooooooo! James was building an airfix model last night so it cant be that bad. Busy day today, school this morning, into town fo hairdressers, up to brothers for more clearing, make supper then round to friends this evening for a catch up. Usually see her about every 6 weeks, because of everything this summer havent seen her for 6 months and she lives 5 mins away! Better move my backside.......

It sunny here, but not warm. Made the most of last weekend, I think that was the end of summer, so BBQed sat and sunday. Wings and corn on the cob one day and a huge paella the other. I miss paella in winter :(

We shall have to think of a new name for ruby now...

Morning all............feeling abit bleary after getting home after midnight, off to hosp with my brother. He is having an angiogram. Its been all hospitals this year. Back later :)

Hi All, Trips, glad your James's hand is ok, don't wear yourself out running around, will you. Chops, As you know, I lose my rag at my 2 on a more than occasional basis, doesn't seem to do them any harm, they tend to listen to me a bit more for a bit afterwards! Shabbathegreek, got a good ring to it! Ruby, how about something like RubySlippers, not that good, but spur of the moment thought.
Both of us feeling a bit better- we have had an offer from a friend who repairs lorries and coaches, he said if the insurance won't fix it, we ca buy it back and he will sort it out for cost and give us time to pay, what a diamond!
Bullies sorted at school, they came down hard - 2 weeks detention and a written apology to James. Another little hiccup today, Mwas late getting to the bus, and j shouted at the driver to stop! Bus driver was not happy and had a real go at J, saying nobody had done that befor, J now worried he'll get told off tomorrow, but we have said "well done for looking out for your brother!"

Well..............not a good day. Took my eldest brother over for his angiogram, he had a triple by-pass you may remember three years ago this month. He has been having signs of angina for the last year. He insisted its still the result of the car accident he had 12 years ago, nothing to do with his heart. Picked him up at mid-day looking very upset, it appears after three years the by-pass has not been a total success. Two of the new arteries are totally blocked. They have said they want to do a special test on him using nuclear dye, they are hoping it will show there is some blood getting through those arteries. Their proceedure today shows nothing. They have said that once a by-pass is done it can never be re-done. His hope is for some blood to be getting through, if so they will attempt to put a stent into one of those blocked arteries. If there is no blood supply then his outlook is very poor:( Just as we were all trying to get ourselves back to some sort of normality. Poor K. :( I am soooooo fed up with hospitals, this one is in Margate, we had to walk past the ward where my lovely Dad died.

Oh Trips - crossing everything here for your brother. I bet you will be glad to see the end of this year. Sending my love and hugs xxxxx
