Shabs..............just think this time tomorrow, tassles and flip flops on............you have the most fabulous time, you truly deserve to. We are off to Sherwood Forest, I am Maid Marian, dk is Friar Tuck and we have our own band of not so merry men!

Just got in, had a girls night on the beach, lovely picky food, loads of wine, beautiful sunset,seal swimming in the sea..................and a laugh, just cycled home in the dark....................bliss! Night night xx

Loooooooooooong day!!! Just had something to eat and sat in the bar with Takis catching up on gossip. Its still about 80 degrees even though it is 10pm. Now its time to relax. xxxx

Rubes, Shabbs and Trips - i hope you all have a great time on your various hols and you all get a chance to relax and enjoy yourselves.
Trips - sounds like you had a nice night away from the DK and kids, don't let them all put upon you on your hols.
Shabbs - photos are wonderful, Em looked eautiful, the men, including Tom and little Lew handsome, and you looked really lovely. I'm glad everything went well and you are finally enjoying your much awaited holiday.

Bubbs............I shall be relying on you to hold the fort, do the trolley, hoover the shag pile etc.

Goodmorning everyone another sunny day, packing, laundry to do, garden to tidy, cats to sort then off tomorrow!
Spent a very sad 2 hours at Mums y/day packing all her clothes to go to the charity shop. Many many items still with labels on we had bought her, it was heart breaking:(

Trying my best Trips - lunch is served, special one for a sad, stressed, daughter with unappreciative family, have a wonderful time!
Ruby - how old are you, 13! hiding from your mum indeed lol..
Big American car show this weekend, only 16miles from home, but going in caravan as it means we can enjoy all the evening entertainemnt as well. Approx 200 cars, us included, are meant to do a road cruise down to Felixstow sea front Saturday...hope the weather holds...

Well Im ready...............dd scarpered to Canterbury with a mate, foul mood when she got back, havent even dared go into her room. Told her to pack her own personal bits three times, I can hear her now
"Where is my charger for my phone"?
"Don`t ask me, you were asked to pack those things yourself".
"What the hell"......................door slams.

In the Mail it said, "spending time with sulky teens can be rewarding".

I went to work taking Xbox and computer cables, sky card and had turned off wifi this morning, as my 2 lazy DC had spent all yesterday on one or other device, I said now they have to do something more tan just sit in front of a screen. They actually went out and --played- - hung out with their mates today!!

Ruby- that's fine, is everything ok? I have left a bottle of baileys on the coffee table, and a couple of packs of chocolate pretzels as well. Enjoy a quiet moment.
School uniform and associated bits and bobs all got and labelled, shoe got (thank God for Tamba discount at Clarks), now all ready for school. I am £500 poorer, but it's now all done, so I can relax.
Went to a big Paralympic torch event tonight with the boys, all free activities then the torch arrival to a firework display wonderful!

OMG its bleedin' hot. Tom just woke up - he is sat in the bar with Sevva, Stegoris and Sevvas having chicken & rice - home made by their Grandma. They are chatting away and watching 'Woman in Black' on the TV - the Greek kids are laughing at Tom because he is the only one scared of the film. Venezia is, as always, wonderful. Faliraki is quiet - I think the Greek economy is hitting everyone hard...BUT...it is still my little piece of heaven on Earth. Nikos has cut his foot open on a glass in the bar where he works....he has around 20 stitches in it so we haven't even seen him yet .

Now on ferry home, exhausted!

Had a fan time, shopping in Andorra, Girona in Spain, lots of pool and beach time in France. Last few days we've been in Switzerland - took a train up near mont blanc and walked through a glacier cave then spent yesterday at an Alpine thermal spa.

Wanna stay on the boat back to France, but I am looking forward to my own bed!

Maid Marian here, its fab here in Sherwood Forest, accom is wonderful, luxurious, hot hot hot tub, glass in hand, kids glued to dvd and Robin Hood peeling spuds! Welcome back Chops :)

Sorry Trips, been too busy to pop in, big weekend here with our main local car show, cruise to seafront Saturday, then Show and Shine car show yesterday, got home 11pm after dancing night away to abba tribute band. Ankle very sore this morning, so hobbling around, but still doing cooking and cleaning plus my "On Call" job from 9am, not much a holiday Monday

You are excused then Bubbs...............but trolley service around 11pm would be nice...................any nuts?
