I just sat down [old bird knackered emoticon]

A lovely day, very informal. We started off with a top table and it soon became sit where you want and have a gab. Dan is somewhat tipsy and Emma Shock have known Em 12 years and never seen her party like she did tonight.

Lew (who normally goes to bed at 7.30 every night was still wide awake at midnight and jumping around on the dance floor with his Mum and Dad to Foo Fighters LOL.

Everybody fed and watered....now I have to go back to the venue and help clean - thank God for great friends like the mighty Chellester xxx

shabbapinkfrog · 19/08/2012 23:22

Thanks Trips.

I have made my mumsnet pics private - just had a 'bit of a moment' on here a few months ago and didn't want people to see them but didn't want to delete them either.

Have you seen the close up pic of Lew when he has his full suit on? So cute xx

Ems dress was so beautiful. It had some folds in the material at the front and lines of glittery stuff that ran across the folds. She looked amazing.

The three of them are off to Angelsey (sp?) in Wales tomorrow for the week. Their lovely best mans dad has a holiday home there and his wedding present to them was a free weeks holiday. Lew came today to get his 'paper money' for his hols....he loves paper money Hmm

Faliraki we fly 7am Wednesday morning - so have to be at Manchester airport at 5....now comes the ironing and packing!!

Im going to sit on my bum around the pool, have some good food and some cocktails and do NOTHING!!!

The wedding was wonderful.....very, very informal. What started out as a top table quickly became a 'park your bum and catch up on each others news table'!! Nobody followed any wedding rules - and it ended up with my daughter in law hitching up her wedding dress and running onto the dance floor to 'pogo' around and dance to Foo Fighters!! Grin There were at least 25 children under the age of 10, several babies and toddlers. A wonderful time.

Last bits of packing going in. Taxi to book for some ungodly hour in the morning.

Goodmorning Shabs..............how long are you going for? You must be sooooo excited, so happy for you:)
We are off on Frid, back on the 3rd, not quite the holiday we all wanted but its a change of 4 walls, as long as I dont end up in the kitchen all night! Not looking forward to this morning, am going to Mums to pack all her clothes up, I dont want to face it when we come back, still cannot get it into my head she has gone :(
Then I must pack for us, not my fav job!

shabbapinkfrog · 21/08/2012 08:48

10 days Trips....back about 1.20am on the 2nd September...Tom starts year 11 on the 4th September. Believe it or not the flights were cheaper if we had done the two weeks.....I looked at Tom, in the travel agents, and he said 'Please Mum can we do 10 days I dont want to miss the first days in year 11.' I 'get' what he means though. The days when you get your timetables and catch up with your friends.

Where are you going love? So sorry that you have to pack up your Mums stuff...wish it was different for you. Although my Mum is doing well on her tablets and even though I have written everything down for her I dont think she realises we are going away tomorrow Sad

Right....last bits and pieces going in....

Im so tired after Dans wedding that I haven't got the energy to get excited YET!! Will be different tomorrow morning. Grin
