Yeah, stoping in Toulouse tonight then Perpignan tomorrow for ten nights then Geneva for 3.

what ferry are you on? Toulouse is a long way, how long will that take you? We have been that way several times, got friends we stay with in Castelnau Magnoac about an hour south east of Toulouse.Are the kids good in the car, mine were awful!

got to make 50 chair cover tie backs today.....this will involve cutting 50 metres of royal blue organza, hemming it on the sewing machine and then making sure they look right on the chairs...................really cant wait .

Got back just now from BBQ, everyone had a great time, lots of sun, swimming and great food, now J playing up saying he only ate 1 burger and a chicken leg, so wants me to cook him tea! There was mounds of food there of all types, just because he didnt want to get out of the pool to eat much of it, its MY fault

Bubby I'd just point him towards the toaster and tell him to lump it!

Poor Shabs, you really will deserve a holiday after all this.

We reached Toulouse at 7.30. Been out for dinner and now in bed! Tbh the kids are pretty good in the car, they are used to the long drives and they watched DVDs all day! We did one 20 minute stop for a picnic so didn't make bad time really.

Thank god it only couple of hours driving tomorrow, we are knackered - been a loong day! Gonna have a lazy breakfast in the morning then head for Carcassonne for a few hours on the way to Perpignan.

Chops - Got him a glass of milk and 2 digestives, then sent him to bed!

I sat here looking at the material all day....then watched City win the Charity Shield (or whatever the hell its called now.) Then Jessica came around to visit....she is Matt's old school friend who is making Danny and Ems cake. I showed her the material and she said 'No, dont cut it, thats the standard width for chair tie backs, if you cut it, it wont look right!!' I grinned at her, breathed a sigh of relief and put the material away!!!

Will be glad when its this time next week....all this will be done and dusted and we will be in Faliraki mode

Thank goodness for prevarication Shabbs its saved a lot of work, only one thought tho, if you were planning on halving it, do you still have enough for the chairs, or do you need another 50metres?
M kept coming down last night saying he couldn't sleep, luckily, most of the time I was watching the closing ceremony (good, wasn't it!), but he woke us at 12.30 and 1.30am as well, saying "why couldn't I knock him out or give him drugs (had already had calpol) to help him sleep, as it was all my fault !! (I did offer to hit him over the head with a mallet at 1.30am, but this wasn't taken up)This morning I had to have then up and out the door for holiday club by 7.45, and he was a nightmare The holiday club said if he continued with the surly attitude, I would be contacted to take him home, and I was late for work anyway, well, he must have improved, as I havent heard from them yet, so hope he is a better mood tonight- early to bed, me thinks

I will need a few more meters but not very much - have just ordered it now - thanks be to Ebay!!! LOL. The lady who normally does the room decoration lent me one of her tie backs as a template so we have got more than we thought. Must admit they do look lovely when they are deep sashes - my god my brain is full of weddings
