I am feeling fed up with dk, we should all be going over to Canterbury this morning as James has a dental appt, but I`ve told him to just take James, it only ends up costing a fortune! Plus we have his sister and family down on Thurs -Sat and I am cooking for them all on Thurs night, so thats 11 of us! Cloudy start, supposed to have rain for the next two days, garden needs it! xx

Morning Trips - been lying awake for ages!! Today we should get the last of our 'bits and pieces' for the wedding. It has cost us a fortune......even down to balloons for the fookin' tables

I am looking forward to it but can't guarantee there will be no tears when I see Dan, Tom and DK in their matching suits.... should be two more young men with the same suits on.

Well there should be two more young men there Shabs, is not fair, never will be. We have been denied so much, there lives, our lives.............it changes nothing to look back, but I cant help it, its hard and never gets easier does it? Dk hasnt sai two words to me all day..................suits me, cant arsed atm. Been a weird summer for me with losing Mum. I feel a change is needed,not sure what, but I dont want it to be like this forever. Kids do more and more there own thing, I used to sit here waiting on them, not going to do it anymore.
Oh Shabs wish you could get to London for the meet up, what a ball we would have:)

Is it walking distance from Waterloo? Walking distance to venue? I am not good in London on my own

Shabs - You have worked so hard to make this day special for all involved.
I know its hard, but those in spirit but not substance will be around and enjoying themselves watching you enjoy yourself, so have a few tears, and then be happy for Dan and Emma, and have a good time.
Rubes - I have PMed you re the meet. Trips - are you def going? DK moaned and grumbled about the cost, saying I really could not afford to go, but I am really working on trying to get there!

I searched high and low for something that is me. This dress has Lew's full approval AND DK's - something that doesn't happen very often.

I have a simple dress....round neck, three quarter sleeves...fitted to the waist and then has three pleats at the front and three at the back. It is simple, feels lovely on, and is comfortable. Have beautiful black patent leather peep toe sling back shoes and a bag to match. It is a bluey, greeney colour - description says teal. It makes my eyes look very green when normally they are a hazel colour. It is much lovlier than my description!!! Im sure there will be loads of pictures on FBook...Dans mates are 'snap happy'

Got my shoes from Evans online. they do wide fittings. Managed to easily get in a 5's - they have about a 3 inch heel (so I will almost be as tall as Tom LOL) and are sooooooooooooooo comfy. I saw them in the shop when they were £45 but managed to get them in the online sale for just one crisp ten pound note

Chellester is colouring my hair for me - am going a little lighter I think. Would love red hair like Lew - but that will make my grey hairs go pink I reckon LOL. Chellester is the Queen of colouring - she also has a scary looking streak kit - the ones with the plastic cap with the holes in it!!!!

Awww Shabs you are gonna look fab, and happy ............and proud. You have worked so hard in many ways, but most of all with your big heart. Em is a lucky lucky girl to have you as a mil, proud of you xx
