ooh nice, I will miss Italy this year. Went there past two holidays and brought back so much food with us!

triplets · 09/08/2012 13:20

Went there in 1974 with a girlfriend, Sorrento, Amalfi Coast, Capri etc. Went there in 78 on honeymoon to Sorrento.

Had more fun in 74!!:o

Evening Girlies, we are having good weather here in Hastings, a bit grey and rainy yesterday morning and evening, raining at night, but able to go out most of the day. I look like Rudolf with a sunburned nose, but drinking piña coladas, so don't care! Plenty of walks with dogs, only 1 mike meltdown so far, and we're enjoying ourselves as a family!
A week is really too short!

triplets · 09/08/2012 23:26

Hi Bubby glad your having fun in Hastings, not that far from me if you fancy a cuppa!
Allowed Rebeccas friend to stay over, think its going to cost me.................................bloody noise!

My dad can't drive so far any more so it seems to be becomign a regular thing now to meet in cambridge to hand the kids over. We shall have to meet up next time I'm up there!

Afternoon ladies........was going to cycle to the beach as there is a big picnic going on there today...............but found myself lounging on my bed instead!! Did cycle to Deal this morning though. I know what you mean Rubester about gardening. I am not a fan.........but..........I seem to have taken over the front and back garden here. I spent 6 hours on Thurs cutting down a very huge woody old Californian Lilac, tangld up hdden inside it was lovely Acer. Dk came home and said, "why have you done that". Never mind it all looks 100% better, no thanks.............................d`y ever wonder why you bother?

bubby64 · 11/08/2012 22:01

Hi All, home now, sorry I couln't get over for the cuppa Trips, DH and kids cwanted to go on the steam railway Thursday, and then to Camber Sands for beach Friday, so had no say in matter!
Its always the same in our garden, I did a large job we have been putting off for ages last week before we left, and got very little recognition for it!
Glad I did a lot of washing at site Thursday, so no too much left to do now back home. Looking foward to sleeping in my own bed tonight, forgot how small a normal double is since we treated ourselves to a kingsize memory foam one in January.
Also glad we were coming back, not going down today, as traffic on the M25 and A21 was at a standstil going south.

triplets · 11/08/2012 23:08

Welcome home Bubs, you must have got the same weather as here, is been stunning! Doors always open for tea:)

bubby64 · 12/08/2012 00:04

We had wonderful weather, Tuesday was a bit grey, but only rained late evening or at night, we were really lucky!
Got a PTFA BBQ and swim party tomorrow, my last PTFA event! Next weekend, the same lovely mum has my 2 along with 3 other lads for a camping weekend to celebrate her boys birthday (he is Mike's best friend), so I will be rid of them from Friday afternoon until Sunday lunchtime! As this particular lady is fairly well off, has a large heated outdoor pool, complete with water slide and powerjet, as well a huge garden with mini wood, tree house and a airgun firing range, as a you can imagine it will be really fun, she is a professional caterer as well Grin

ChopstheDuck · 12/08/2012 05:17

Welcome back bubby, glad you had a good time.

triplets · 12/08/2012 07:10
