Still searching the shag pile for my Faliraki flip flops!!!

Morning back under the stairs on the old pc, two bloody laptops buggered (swears to please Shabs) :o
Had a late lively evening with the Wiganites Shabs, DK was his usual snappy self, he never wants them here and they are so thick skinned they don`t seem to notice. Cooked a roast and apple pie, all demolished, huge praise from them but not a thank you from Dk whose bloody family it is! Need to start getting this family back tog, kids stay in bed until mid-day, then have bowls of cereal, then ask for lunch at 4pm!! Trouble is they are happy doing nothing, Dk wants to march us all off by 9am and I just want some peace and an easy life. Also feel that nobody here remembers that my lovely Mum has only been gone 4 weeks y/day.....I soooo miss her. Just now I looked in the fridge at the bits of food left from last night and thought it would make Mum a meal......then remembered:(
Still no holiday booked, cannot find anything to suit us all, no one will agree. Dk wants to go to Florida, I can get a good deal, flights, accom and tickets for £4500 for 5 of us, but it would all go on c/c and then its all got to be paid off after. Also Dk gets his scan result tomorrow.........
When are we going to have this meet up........need an outing and would be fun?

Trips- hope it all goes well tomorrow with DK, sorry you are still having trouble with him and the kids, but glad you had a good time with the relatives. 4 weeks since your darling mum passed on, the time seems to have gone very fast, but the family seem to have very short memories
Chops - a new car, ooooh I dream of a new car, you lucky thing you!!
The boys had a great time, thanks, they love the extra independace they are being given. I have given them a deadline to get their rooms tidy tho, and the amount of holiday money they get to spend next week depends on how good a job they do, and, tbh, I think M is going to get a lot more than J will!!

Just watched 24 hours in A & E and now wish I hadn't!!!! Im piggin' silly at times....well most of the time.

I`m in trouble.............we are both knackered and a little fed up atm, so why did I let the boys have a friend round for a sleepover...............watch this space............

Had such a nice day and have now just lost it big time with Rebecca. We just cant seem to get on, her attitude towards everything and everybody atm is awful. 10.30pm I asked them all to go to bed, a friend slept over last night so I am tired. Next thing there is an almighty row between the boys and her, ran upstairs to find her throwing James guitar out of her room and also Thomass phone charger. She had helped herself to both. I hate it being like this, I need a holiday but am actually dreading going away with them. They came over to Ashford with us today and the bickering over space in the back of our new car. "Why did you get such a small car, you should have got another 7 seater"? Imagine going on a long trip with them? I dont know what to do with them anymore, truly I dont.

Sounds a little like my day Trips.

Emma having her hair done (wedding day hairstyle trial) Lew dropped off here at 7am. Was still here at 5pm waiting for his Daddy to pick him up. Him & Tom had argued for about 2 hours. They both want me just to talk to them, and believe me it is NOT always Tom who causes trouble. Lew is a little sod quite often. I have become so pathetic that I counted that I had washed up about 16 times....made something like 30 different meals, snacks and drinks. Whilst all the time Lew's other Gran doesn't get involved at all. There has never been a phone call to say 'you must be tired would you mind if I came and took Lew for the day.' Now dont get me wrong I like her. She is a kind, lovely lady BUT she is more than happy for the hard work to be going on at my house. Of course, none of this will ever be said in RL because I am a coward. Feel more than taken for granted to be honest and cannot wait till this wedding is over. There aren't enough hours in the day to babysit for them AND arrange the buffet (and cook loads of stuff for it), lots of parts of the wedding day, look after my parents on the day etc etc etc

Roll on the 22nd August - Falableedingraki here we come

Shabs, can you ask her to take Lew for a couple of days saying you need to get things ready for the wedding, it's her daughters big day, after all, surely she would be willing to help if you asked her?
Trips- great news re scan, but at your Rebecca. R and I should be looking forward to our break, but dreading the fact that our two will prob be arguing a lot of the time.
I am bribing them to tidy their rooms at the moment, I am doing a room inspection on Saturday morning befor we go, and their spending money depends on their room rating. I told them on Sunday i was doing this, at the moment mike will be getting the full £20 (£10 from us and £10 from nana), and James will get about 20p!! He has been moaning like hell and say its not fair, but I'm going to stick to my guns this time, he says he hasnt had time, but he wouldnt get off the damm xbox most of the day, so needs to get his lazy ass in gear!

Goodmorning girls.................Shabs such a difficult one. I think as everyone is working up to thje big day I would be a coward too to keep the peace. But after the honeymoon and after your well deserved holiday I think its time for a family pow wow and let them honestly know how tiring it is for you. Is a long time until full time school for Lew and in many ways esp at school holiday times its not fair on Tom as you are sharing your precious time with him. Hope you don`t mind me saying this, its just that you are one of the kindest hearted people I have ever known and its not fair to feel taken for granted. Mind you thats how I feel most days here:o
Meeting my brother Keith this morning, its his b/day and he is going to miss Mum:( will bring him back here for lunch and hope his daughter is going to do something with him later.................I can hope! x

Have thought a lot about it Trips - I think that we have to carry on carrying on IYKWIM? Believe it or not Lew starts Primary school the first week in September. The school is very near their house and they are going to get him into breakfast club straight away, which will work out well as his Mum has to be in work for 8am Then his Mum can pick him up at the end of the school day. Then we will just have the school holidays to deal with. I am overjoyed that he is such a big part of my life but sometimes it does get too much.

He arrived this morning with a sad face and said 'Yesterday was my fault Andma, I dont like Tom talking to you but Mummy said that was very, very naughty. So I have brought him the same sweets and crisps as me and I am going to tell him sorry. Its cause me is an 'only one' and I am selfish!!' Cue him looking at Mummy and tears starting!! We will see what the day brings!

Oh yeah just got message from Nikos (the beautiful one) - they are expecting temperatures of over 40 degrees today - I only know temperatures in 'old money' but I know that is sweaty moustache weather. He said people were swimming in the sea at 7am this morning when he was going to work!!

Not like 'Birdie song' or 'Viva Espania' eh Trips? LOL.

Surprise surprise in this house, 2 immaculate bedrooms from the boys, you could have knocked me down with a feather when they called me up to inspect them, almost worth the fact that they have managed to melt the drive belt on the Dyson!!!!

Evening girls, been so busy out and about.

LOVE that song, Shabs! The other gran sounds a bit like ,my parents they just didn't believe in grandparents babysitting, until we moved right away!

Trips, I think girls are so much harder - it's been so peaceful here with just the twins. I feel bit bad, but life is so much easier without dd's mood swings and ds1 special needs!

Evening girls................how sad am I to be sat here on my new laptop which is mine...........no more cutting out, slow old machines full of yogurt and cereal (Becca) its mine and its staying here with me!!
I have felt so out of sorts all day, both physically and mentally, feel full up with food yet not eating alot, tired and generally fed up with life despite a brilliant scan result y/day. Something has got to happen to change this family around, feel we are all drifting away from each other, kid spending more and more time shut in their rooms, feel when they do venture out all they get is shouted at. Finding it very hard now being an older Mum with a much older husband! We really need a holiday, one where we all have lots to do or not do if thats what you want, but God knows where. I trawl and trawl but have yet to find something for us all. Oh girls whats wrong with me, struggling to find anything good in my life atm.

On hols as of tomorrow, so won't be able to check in so much. Have a good week girls xxxxxxxxx

Sorry, posted too soon. The above link has holidays really cheap if you book mon line, a friend of mine used it and got a good last minute deal at this hotel for £176 per person.
