Morning all. Rang my bell at 08.12 for the olympics, would not have done so if I hadn't been up already, but the on call phone rang at 06.15, so had no choice, DH still not emerged from his pit (having a annual leave day).

I had to google that bubby! Knew nothing about it. Not that I have a bell anyway...

Have enjoyed the Olympic opening ceremony so far, we got the treat of the red arrows practicing over us this morning and then in formation going to the flypast this evening, they started off from the airbase 3 miles away.

Evening girls........getting very frustrated with these machines, this is our old laptop, collected it from my brothers this evening, it kept cutting out and he said its the power socket thats faulty so has stuck the supply in.......................it still keeps cutting out.....grrrrrrr the other laptop I took up to him tonight also as that one wont charge at all and if I cant have a laptop to sit up in bed with at night so I can chat to you lot I will sulk ! Still feeling poorly, had this cough/cold/sore throat for over a week, annd still can`t agree on a holiday!!

grrrrrrrrrrrr bl- -dy machine, its cut out twice on me this morning, brother stuck the cable in and its useless...grrrrrrrr............still I am not going to have a bad or sad day today...............so

Goodmorning.............awake bright and early...........again! Today is my Mum and Dad wedding anniversary, I can`t feel sad as I like to think they are now together after spending 12 apart xxxx
Eventually got round to watching the Olympic Ceremony opening, only saw a bit on Frid. Thought it was brilliant..............except and it grieves me to say this as I have been the hugest fan all my life, Paul McCartney was awful. He sounded awful and looked awful, its time he gave up. Oh to think I used to have a life size poster of him on my bedroom ceiling so that he was the first thing I saw when I woke up...........la la la la la la la...........la la la la.....

Trips - I totally agree about Macca, he was bad at the Jubilee, worse at the opening ceremony, why not Bowie or Tom Jones or anyone else! Also, my laptop needs the charging cable plugged in all the time too, as the battery is knackered, and can't afford new one at £60 odd quid at the moment!
Funny old weekend, we were meant to be at an all weekend car show, staying in the caravan, but it got cancelled last week as, despite the sunshine, the showfield was still waterlogged. So as I won a family ticket to a newly refurbished swimming pool in a nearby town, and we went Saturday. TBH, the pool was crap, our local ones are both much better, M had a meltdown there, which didn't help, eventually sorted him out and did a bit of holiday shopping, spent yesterday putting up new fencing to stop our houdini dog getting out. Wish we had taken the caravan and gone somewhere else for the weekend, now, but, with our "proper" holiday starting next week, we couldn't really afford it.

Oh, and congrats on the DoE bronze to your boys

Thank you Bubba, they didn`t wake up to 12.30pm today, room was very smelly!! Looking forward to tonight, we as in Dk and moi, are orf out to a mates birthday bash on the beach. Seems strange we can now leave the kids, they only fester in their rooms all night anyway and we can always be home in less than 10 mins. Sooo excited to be going out, saddo aint I?

Hi...........just cycled home...........in a fashion...........eaten too much and drank too much..........but it was fun...........a breath of fresh air:)

Phew, quiet here at the moment, boys and their mate have all cycled to the next village to "hang out" (we are no longer allowed to say "play") with another friend. I was a bit worried, tried to play it cool, but did say to them they should wear their hi-vis, helmets and take their phones, but they are relishing the freedom of being trusted to cycle off for the day.

I am soo tired. Went to pizza express after picking up the car, express it was not! 2.5 hours! Ended up being a rather late one. was a lovely day though, and my new car is beyoootiful!
