Love those dresses lavita. Also the idea of a jumpsuit... Look forward to your pics. Have decided against cream dress for weddings, twas a moment of madness. Can't find anything else nearly so nice though Sad

Grin Grin mucky!

ladymuckbeth · 21/06/2012 20:03

I once wore a cream trouser suit to a wedding tarti. Even then I felt self-conscious. I would advise against it - there's enough to be thinking about on the day without worrying that someone, somewhere in the congregation might be thinking 'who does she think she is?' Wink

Anyway you missed my question - did you get the Saltwaters for the girls?!

KateShmate · 21/06/2012 21:45

LVB and muck I am not going to give into temptation and click on any Smallable / other cute websites. I had a bit of a spree the other day and they certainly don't need any more!

I can't seem to get any of the dresses you've linked Tarti :(

muck They will get used to the scooters, promise - make them practice more and the will get brilliant. DD1 had a mini which she then grew out of / shared with DD2 - DD2 then got given a brand new Maxi by a friend whose DC couldn't figure it out. Then we decided to get DD1 the Maxi for her birthday which was when we realized that the Maxi and the Mini are the same size! (When the Maxi is at its smallest setting). All of that time DTrips spent any available time fighting over the abandoned Mini - even sharing it between them they managed to master it pretty well. We knew we were going to get them new scooters for their birthday and wanted to get the Micro scooters as ours have lasted brilliantly, but we couldn't justify the price until it was DTrips birthday.

Ohh, a whole essay on scooters... sorry!

tartiflette · 21/06/2012 22:38

I have palpitations just at the thought of scooters Blush

Yes got the Saltwaters mucky - they sent a size too big though. I held on to them as they were almost ok but what with that and the filthy weather they haven't worn them yet.
There's no mention of getting them wet ritual anywhere in the boomf that came with... However in this, as in all matters, I defer to your superior knowledge Grin Wink

kate I didn't link anything, it was hypothetical. Really struggling to find any dresses I like.

ladymuckbeth · 21/06/2012 22:48

Just off to bed but tarti - nice dresses here although some of them too casual. It's a great time of year to have a buy a dress - all the sales are on! Don't know what your budget is but Net-a-P and Matches, along with mywardrobe have excellent discounts already. I also came across Damsel In A Dress recently - you may have seen already but I quite like this one

Right, must get to bed... zzzzzzz

tartiflette · 21/06/2012 23:07

Ooh that Scandi website is lovely. Yes have spent all evening scouring NaP etc... Just haven't found anything I love. The Damsel in a Dress one is gorgeous but a bad colour for me I think. I once ordered something from them and it was a fab dress when it came, I forget now why I didn't keep it...

LaVitaBellissima · 21/06/2012 23:12

Tarti please link to your outfit Smile
I really like this dress for a wedding in August, absolutely suits my flat chestedness and is so nice in the flesh. Am hoping it goes in an 80% off sale Wink otherwise it will not be purchased Sad

Mucky I love any good comments, whether from homeless people, the blind or my Gran, it's still a compliment! Definitely puts a spring in your step!
I'm off on holiday soon but shall we try and organise a meet up at the Chelsea Army thing in August? Is Cerubina London too? Would be brilliant to meet in person, we've been friends for about 2 years now!

I love the girls Saltwaters, we bought the white classic ones, I thought they were a size too big but their feet grow so fast, and within a few weeks now fit perfectly. Think I'm off to Westfield next week to buy crocs for the girls after all my reticence, they are fab for the beach aren't they?

LaVitaBellissima · 21/06/2012 23:19

Have you looked on The Outnet? This is nice!

ladymuckbeth · 22/06/2012 08:59

Hm, I'm not sure about that one but LVB - I LOVE the LKB one you linked to, it's stunning and I wish I could ever see myself having the body to wear it. Get it!!

Yy to meeting up in August btw, would love to, and Cerub too if she's up for it. You never know, 3 mums and 3 sets of twins, we might actually get to TALK for five minutes without interruption! Grin

LaVitaBellissima · 22/06/2012 12:59

Brora sale has some nice bits, liberty PJ's?

ladymuckbeth · 22/06/2012 13:01

That is incredible. I am not joking when I say that I have JUST put them in my shopping basket online. Walked through the door 10 mins ago, saw brochure on the mat (did you get one too?) and went straight to have a browse. What are we like?! They are lovely.

LaVitaBellissima · 22/06/2012 13:09

So funny, what did you buy?

I like this but they don't have it in my size

I've got this in my basket such a bargain but am not sure if it's a bit mumsy Confused

The plimsols are such a bargain but they are too big, tempted to buy them anyway.

ladymuckbeth · 22/06/2012 13:17

I haven't clicked the 'buy' button yet LVB. I am trying to be good. I actually clicked away thinking that I'd buy them some cardis on there but then the ones in the catalogue aren't on sale yet (despite the catalogue saying they are Hmm) so then I thought 'can I be arsed just to get them some pyjamas they might not need for another year?'). This, girls, is how I waste my entire life faffing around on the interweb.

Hm re. the dress. On me it would be mumsy. But then I am 41 42 on Sunday and a bit fat. You might be able to pull it off. Wink

Btw, I have this dress from there, not in the sale yet but I LOVE it and it's really easy to wear.

ladymuckbeth · 22/06/2012 13:18

I like the other one (the one not in your size). IMO their clothes are well made but they are, um, catering for a range of ages and I have sent a few things back because they do make me look mumsy. That dress I linked to I have in charcoal, btw.

LaVitaBellissima · 22/06/2012 13:20

absolutely love this dress in the brochure it is on sale but the website doesn't seem to have been updated.

Also like these skirts they also do dresses again should be on sale so I'll wait I think Wink

LaVitaBellissima · 22/06/2012 13:22

Yes really like the one you've already got. I need to be good though, stop spending.....

ladymuckbeth · 22/06/2012 13:23

Come on Brora, what are you up to? Website not corresponding with mailshot re. sale items??! Just seen the dress I have is in the sale down to £69. Wish I liked the other colours as I'd definitely buy another one. I'm such a bloody monochrome addict (with hints of pale pinks and gold, get me) at the moment...

ladymuckbeth · 22/06/2012 13:26

LOVE both those.

LaVitaBellissima · 22/06/2012 13:31

You should buy the Marine one, would look fab on you!

Happy Birthday for Sunday Thanks & Wine , Cerubina turns 40 very soon, I saw on FB Smile

tartiflette · 22/06/2012 14:41

Right back off bitches I want that elephant print dress.
I LOVE the blue lkb you linked to lavita although think my boobs would need more assistance than that would allow for.
Not sure about the long Brora one. But then I look ridic in long flowing things, you are probably far more sophisticated! Like mucky's linen tunic very much. I love wearing easy things like that but feeling I still look nice.

tartiflette · 22/06/2012 14:42

Those bensimon pumps- what a bargain!!

ladymuckbeth · 22/06/2012 15:01

Yes, although I don't know why they say they were normally £49 - they are nowhere near that on any of the other sites I'm to be found malingering on on a daily basis

ladymuckbeth · 22/06/2012 15:03

tarti any way we can get you down for a meet? I know you live in a different time zone and everything but... Wink

tartiflette · 22/06/2012 16:21

Would LOVE to, keep me posted.

tartiflette · 22/06/2012 16:25

LaVita please describe your upcoming holiday in minute, envy-inspiring detail Grin
