Hi Trips and Shabs - No internet connection for a few days, now up and running for the BIG DAY! Boys overexcited, I'm knackered, been up past midnight for several nights sorting and wrapping presents and doing preperation. Now Turkey ready for oven, veg all prepared, trifles made, all as ready in advance as I can get!
Sitting here in fromt of a good film with a glass of mulled wine, mince pie with brandy butter-bliss! HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!

Have just sent my Mum and Dad home with doggy bags with loads of lovely food in. They had their Xmas dinner with us (sorry lunch if you are from darn sarf)
and I suspect that my Mum is pissed somewhat drunk. She has been on the dark rum and blackcurrant LOL. Not even sure that she should drink with the tablets she is taking, but, what the hell - she enjoyed herself and thats all that matters xxx

Had a good day, Christmas dinner went off without a hitch, boys loved their pressies, yes, we did spoil them again, despite my threats, but they are my miracle babies. Now time for pate and crackers and a large dollop of baileys. Hope everyone had a good day. by the way, oooggs spent the day playing at star wars in WDW!!

Sat in my bed with a bag of choc brazils adding more calories to my ever expanding waistline.................comfort food...........hope everyone had a lovely day xx

I only just woke up!!! Latest I have slept in about a thousand years.
My back is aching and I am walking like an old woman. Lew, Dan & Em will be here in about 2 hours........the task for today is to make a sumptuous buffet out of all the shite stuff in the fridge. On Lews request I have pea & ham soup in the slow cooker!!!

Hi Shabs, sounds like you could have an arthritic "flare up", did your Nan have rheumatoid or osteoarthritis? Take some ibuprofen and see how it goes.
pissed off fed up that I had to get up at 6am today and drive 6miles to collect work computer, and the lady meeting me to hand it over was an hour late! 10 minutes late, ok, 15-20 minutes, pushing it a bit, but an hour just seemed rude, I could have spent that time in bed! Luckily the phone has been fairly quiet today.

Evening all, really boring quiet day...........I must sem like Mrs Scrooge, but I just have not enjoyed this Christmas, it just does not feel like Christmas at all to me. Should have been a really special one with H still being all clear, so I feel we have sort of wasted it. Done everything I do, house is a picture, made my own, cake, pud, yule log, etc, everything is the same.............except me and I don`t know why. Really have to go on a diet, house full of chocs, what is a girl to do??

A very late check in, but been busy working all day. How are you all, Shabs- hope you had agood family day yesterday, Trips- hope some festive spirit revives you a bit, must admit, I haven't enjoyed this Christmas as much as other years, maybe because the run-up to it was so shite.
The whole thing seems an anteclimax.

I've been so busy, absolutely knackered! Barely had time to breathe. Went Friday, then Xmas eve was our Xmas dinner, Xmas day was with family and an Indian feast, boxing day went up the west end to Selfridges, yesterday went to rugby at Twickenham - hospitality package with lurvely food and wine, today went Harrods and Harvey nics, left dh in London to go to a show, and I'm now home with the kids. Planning a very early night! Tomo im picking up dh and we're off to the circus, and Friday I'm taking dd to the nutcracker at the O2.

The food we bought for Xmas has barely been touched but we've been having a lovely time, can't wait til kids in bed now though.

Went panto Friday, not sure what happened there!

Hops - All sounds too exhausting to me, but glad you had a great time.
Spent the day with younger bruv and family, building proverbial bridges after rift over my mum a few months ago. We are now back on good terms. My older bruv is not so easily forgiven, as he hurt me a lot more.

Evening! Life is hectic at the moment, am working lots of hours and am very grateful that I now get a pay packet.
