Yep I have tinnitus, prob for about 10 yrs now, tried all sorts, even a special hearing aid type thing that you switch on when you go to bed as bedtime is the worse time for me. All it did was let out a sort of hum, worse sound than I was putting up with! TBH I have just learnt to ignore it. Bubby you are a very thoughtful person, I am hoping by this time tomorrow you will see a change in me. I am sat here with the most awful IBS going on, tingling in my finger nails, stomach full of twisting nerves. Every scan seems to make me worse, Harry is quite calm, just says "what will be will be". His appt is in Ashford at 9.15am so at least we won`t have to wait too long, just want it over with. xx

So far today we have had gale force winds, hailstone, rain and the odd peek of sunshine. We now have all that (except the sunshine) AND thunder and lightning.....Oh what I would give to be in Faliraki right now x

Hi Trips, hope all went well this morning.
Shabs- hope you are not so tired.
Ruby - Grin
We went up to the open evening at the local High School this evening, DH and I couldn't belive how much school had changed since we went

After looking around and seeing how much their friends who went up this year do, they now cannot wait to go up next September.
Funny thing was, when we went in the english dept, DH saw the department head and they realised they had gone to school together. They spent more time remanising about their old scool than showing us around!

bubby64 · 06/10/2011 22:32

Oh, and Chops, glad you can't see my house, mess seems to be a speciality of my kids Wink

Awwwwwww girls, what a bloody rollercoaster this life is, not sure how much more my nerves can take! Three cheers for H....hip farkin hip.......hooray :o

shabbapinkfrog · 06/10/2011 23:36

H has the right attitude Trips - he really does. You have to get angry with an illness - you have to say 'fark off right now' - if you lay down and wait for it to do its worse - then you are doomed!!

Have told my Mum that this Alzhaimers is not going to beat us. Have reminded her of my Matts words....'Mam, we dont wive very wong do we?' 'No love we dont' 'Well Mam I weckon we have to grab evwy day by the balls and shake it!!' ROFL 'You are right love, but try not to say that in reception class today.'

Told my Mam she has to 'GRAB EVWY DAY BY THE BALLS AND SHAKE IT' - if I find she is not doing it I will be having words with her Grin
