Yes I made the silly remark - 'don't they look like twins!!!!!' doh - but I have spent the last 4.5 years trying to help them be different in many ways not just outfits

I have butterflies in my tummy now but also have Luke to keep my feet firmly on the ground and still taking him to groups Grin

I said you would be walking yourself (6 min walk) if their Dad is at work why dont they get a taxi? Answer, because her mum is broke. Phone goes again, doh. Charlotte cant come round after school now cos her Aunty is coming and her Mum is getting a take away...............no money? Aint life grand:o

shabbapinkfrog · 06/09/2011 09:38

Well thats Tom out of the door - they dont start till 10am.

Sat here now - just me and Lew. This has to have been the worst Summer school holiday that Tom has ever had. His best friend has moved down to Devon and we have not had a full day of sunshine for the last 6 weeks. He has not moaned once about us not going to Faliraki. Last week he said 'Mum lets go through my school stuff and see if we really have to get new because I know you are broke!!' He has saved me a fortune. We have just had to buy new shoes. The trousers and jumper I got him last year were too small for him within the first week and we replaced them all. Couple of days ago he tried them on and they fit him perfectly, so he is chuffed to bits that he has lost weight. I know we have our fall outs but he is an amazing kid.

Lew just said 'Awww Tommy you look very smart and I love you!'

I know that his heart will be pounding as he gets nearer to school. His friend, who has moved, was his rock....they used to call themselves the Geek Club!! So today will be difficult for him. Luckily he takes after me and has pinned his best smile on. Good luck Tom - your Mam loves you xxxx

Morning all, sitting here altering length of school trousers for tomorrow and fuming over my neighbour who was supposed to look after the boys yesterday. Turns out she left them with her 18yr old son who entertained himself by throwing things at her 2 youngest (8 and 9) and my 2, wouldnt let them play outside, had music blasting out at deafening level, wouldn't let them watch tv or play x-box, or even play upstairs in the kids rooms, which they normally do, even had my 2 and her youngest doing his chores! Said he would "beat them up" if they didn't!
She was meant to be there with them for most of the day, she had said she would have to be out for "an hour or so", which I was not too worried about, but she went out at 10 and didnt get back to 4pm! I only found out what had happened when my 2 got upset at bed time and wanted to sleep in the same room, as Scott (her son) had threatened to come over and "get them" if they said anything!
I am glad to be looking after her 2 over here today, since I know they will be better treated than being left at home with that thing she calls a son! She hasn't had the decency to return my calls, and she sent her kids over this morning with her 16yr old daughter (whom she went out with yesterday) rather than bring them over herself, so i haven't even be able to talk about yesterday to her! She offered to have my 2 yesterday, as she wanted me to have hers today, and there is usually no problems, but if she knew she had to go out all day, she should have told me, and I would made alternative arrangements, I still would have looked after her kids today, whatever!
Sorry for the rant, but I am sooooo upset over this, I feel I can never trust her again!

triplets · 06/09/2011 23:05

Bubbly, no wonder you are fuming, that is awfulAngry
Shabs, how did Tomster get on, hope he had a good first day back, of course he is a good kid, all your lads are good kids cos they take after their Mam who is one of the most thoughtful and kindest person I know:)
Went to Canterbury today to buy a new coat, I hate coats, and have tow old tatty ones to my name. Spent a very depressing morning trying on dozens, hate hate mirrors.............looked like a giant puff ball in them all............ended up buying some waterproof thing, lime green and nw feel like a marrowfat pea:o

shabbapinkfrog · 07/09/2011 06:55

Morning girls xx

Tom seemed to have a great 'first day back' in Year 10!! He loved the fact that he had a timetable with his chosen options on. Kept showing me how many lessons of graphics, english and history he had - 3 of his most loved subjects. We shall see how getting up this morning goes Hmm

Think the grunting was aimed at me - have banned the laptop from his bedroom at night - several times over the holidays he was on there all night talking to Sevva and Stegoras (our friends kids in Faliraki) and his buddy Paige. Then he was sleeping till lunchtime Grin

He tried seeing if he could have it in his room last night and he got a look from me like this Hmm.
