Shabs.......come here for a hug I wish we lived nearer...........what a stupid thing to say to Lew, did Lew say anything to you? Whats wrong with our men, mine has just ruined our last evening an do you know what it is? Jealousy, jealous because 2 gay men have been very kind to me this week, chatted to me and taken me out to a garden centre and to the local auction room just to have a look. They have been so good with the kids, and to H also. So as they knocked £405 off this holiday and as they have just been so lovely I bought two bottles of their favourite wine from the local shop.................oh boy...................he went ballistic, took one bottle out and said that was enough, we are not made of money etc. I said that I had bought it out of my money and I wanted to leave it as a small thank you. So off he stormed leaving the door wide open, at 10pm and a zillion gnats, mozzies fly in, and the kids bedrooms are down there. I found some fly spray and started to spray whe he bawls from the upstairs to stop it, ok for him he isn`t sleeping down there! Lovely end to a lovely week...........................git!

Thanks girls. some good news, the op worked to set the bone so his cast has now been changed to a full cast, and is lightweight and red with blue stripe, which he is happy with.

Some not so good news - it looks like he may have nerve damage to the thumb, going to have to wait and see for that one. He isn't able to move it properly and it's tingling a lot. He describes it as fizzing which I think is an ace description!

Good news chops, I bet he`s proud of his trendy plaster, not like the ones I had, horrible heavy thick white thing that frayed and looked filthy in no time! Got home at 2pm and spent until 8pm sorting out, did have a good time though just loved the place and great to see the kids all having fun together canoeing down stream ,quite an adventure for them. Soon back to normal..............what ever that is! Hope to see you in your bed until 10 tomorrow Mrs Shabs! xx

Hubby in hospital for the day today - I never touched him, you cant blame me He is having epidural injections into his spine to try and relieve the constant pain that he has since his accident. He is going to the 'posh' hospital in Bolton - they are the only hospital that do these injections. Maybe if they work.....even if just for a few weeks - there is a strong chance that he could stop fookin moaning!! I would not make a very good nurse would I??

Well it seems like even a private hospital are not great time keepers. Dan picked H up about 11.30am and they are still not back!!!!

Hi Shabs, funny day to go in isnt it, we would never get a Sat appt here. Anyway is he home? Hope he is ok. Mine is still being a pita, home for 24 hours and back to 19 hours of daily stress, the other 5 Im asleep! Bout time we had some exciting good news on here, like da da................

Aye - he got home about half 6. Think they 'do' all the common folk on a Saturday Trips. Its a private hospital out in the small patch of countryside in Bolton!!!!

Yes Danny stayed with H - I had to give him some petrol money and its quite a journey from his - so he stayed and watched the motor racing on Sky sport with his Dad. About time someone else helped out in my family - gets a bit boring doing everything yourself.

Trips I cant remember the last time we had a full sunny, dry day. Think it was about 3 weeks ago. We have had so much rain AND its been going dark about half 8 which is sooooooooooooo depressing!!!

Never heard that one Shabs...Christ on a bike.......love it, got a mental picture of it! And shouldnt that be "full of the joys of summer"? Not bad here atm, and as you say its dark so early now, not had one night out. Normally we meet up at the beach hut, thats not happened this year. Oh my, must be thankful for what weve got...............
