No Trips chickens dont have lips - I heard the Falklands bloke - Simon Weston - say that once and it just made me LOL. He said he fell asleep so easily that people used to say he could sleep on a chickens lip

I'm a Norfolk girl, grew up in Gorleston. The best bits are the little quiet places, where you really feel in the middle of nowhere!

I loved Burgh castle - not a lot there, but the most gorgeous sunsets in summer, over the broads. Google image it and you will see what I mean. Used to love taking dd to Oulton Broad and Wroxham craft barns.

I think North Norfolk has some beautiful places too. Sandringham park, wells-next-to-the-sea. I hope to go back there in summer sometime in the next year or two, and eat cromer crabs by the sea!

Stupidly had some curry for supper and have heartburn again, need an MOT, tired yet can`t sleep, feel an old wreck. So much packing to do, anybody any tips for s/catering? I am ok once we get there but hate thinking about what to take. Should know by now, only been doing it for 33 years, oh God that makes me feel old......

Morning Shabs, supposed to reach 30 deg todays, so humid y/day it knocked me out! This is the girl talking who used to sunbathe, slapping on Ambre Solaire Oil, factor 2, and back in the 80`s went topless..................OMG!

Boy what a scorcher..........cant take it like I use to. I am ready for this break, feeling very tired.................if only I didnt have to cook! Where are you Shabs..............bit quiet?
