@MrsDilligaf I bet the whole town WAS doing Amway. Your description reminds me of the Schitt’s Creek Allez Vous episode!

@YouOKHun actually I do remember another party I went along too ata colleagues house ‘unthinkingly’ - turned out to be Oriflame - again around the late 80s - now in fairness here I actually quite liked some of the products and I was unaware at the time it was an MLM - so did used to buy a few bits and bobs

Spongebobette · 28/05/2025 21:45

Oh someone at my work was selling Cabouchon in the mid 90s. She was an awful woman, was always showing off and pretending to be wealthy and it turned out in the end her and her husband’s big house and flashy cars were all on credit and they possessed nothing

Sugarplum48 · 29/05/2025 10:58

Surely if you are obsessively pushing your bozznizz on the daily, numerous times a day, would that not simply advertise that you're not doing well?? The old adage that a good business doesn't need to advertise or bleat on and on Incessantly if they are as successful as these dreadful leaches are.

Crikeyalmighty · 29/05/2025 11:13

@Sugarplum48 totally agree. We do market ‘a lot’ but that’s because we release ‘new and unique’ products every 5 weeks ( music business)

Crikeyalmighty · 29/05/2025 11:20

@Sugarplum48 it kind of reminds me of all those glam looking couples advertising on FB ( a few years ago now) with the ‘we make 10,000 a month passive income for 15 hours a week and work from anywhere in the world, come and join us’ - why would you be telling the world and it’s mother how you do this and adding more competition into the market ‘unless’ of course it’s an MLM of some kind OR possibly you are charging a hefty fee to simply suggest ways ( think crypto etc ) - you simply wouldn’t.

Spongebobette · 29/05/2025 11:29

And their victims just never seemed to join the dots did they, and see through the lies

Crikeyalmighty · 29/05/2025 11:49

@Spongebobette no because many people’s ability to look beyond the headlines where money is involved go out the window- hate to bring politics into it but look at many people’s ability to be gullible if a party like Reform offer the moon on a stick ( whilst not in power) - I’ve heard very few say , ‘but what will be cut and phased out in order to offer such huge incentives’ and they only mention things that seem fairly innocuous ( and appeal to many) like getting rid of DEI positions or not paying for hotels for asylum seekers ( not mentioning what they would do instead).
It’s the same with saying to a bit skint ‘Kev and Gemma’ - you can earn £10,000 a month sat on your arse and a bit of social media. They zone out about the detail and just hear the £10,000 headline and that’s what these MLM people rely on - never mind the detail of what’s involved, show us the cash . Those selling products rarely mention the products too in their posts- if the products are so great they should be shouting it from the rooftops

Spongebobette · 29/05/2025 11:52

Spot on

Crikeyalmighty · 29/05/2025 17:13

@Spongebobette when you have a proper ‘bizniss’ you sense it all a mile off - if you aren’t shouting from the rooftops about your actual ‘product’ - in great detail - then potential ‘recruits’ ( read suckers) ‘ are’ your product .

Sugarplum48 · 29/05/2025 21:23

Annnnddd yet more confusing crap being pushed by yawn... jesus she's the never ending bottomless bag of shit party tricks. Just sell one thing ffs. Her litany of shit tips, tricks, now games and soooooo much more just keeps on going. It actually pickles the brain reading her stuff as its so confused. YAWN WHAT DO YOU ACTUALLY SELL OR DO?? Asking for a friend as no fucker knows at this point

Crikeyalmighty · 29/05/2025 21:33

@Sugarplum48 and that’s one of the first things about a business and branding - confuse it with too many mixed messages about what you sell/do and no one associates ‘you’ with anything in particular-far better to do one thing and do it well

Spongebobette · 29/05/2025 21:46

Oh Yawn is just offering ‘be like me’

Spongebobette · 29/05/2025 21:51

because really it’s a fan club

YouOKHun · 29/05/2025 23:18

Yawn is going to have a private area on her website for what sounds like all the stuff she has in the Unlucky Club group. I wonder if this is because her techie friend has pointed out FB is deleting Lives and her content is about to disappear, or some of it anyway.

I see Yawn is celebrating a new client for her and techie bot. As this is being publicised and there has been not mention of previous clients for their joint venture the obvious conclusion is that they’ve only managed to get this one client. Or perhaps they are bypassing Yawn and going straight to techie bot who has something more concrete to offer?

OP posts:
Sugarplum48 · 30/05/2025 08:25

Her website is extremely long, boring and cluttered. I along with numerous others look at it and swerve to the left as it actually bores to even try to read and or figure out what she offers.

Though to be fair @CrikeyalmightyYawn’s mixed messages and confusing offering has lead to me associating her with one thing in particular; scam coaching. So you could argue that she has been very successful in that regard!

Angrymum22 · 30/05/2025 10:50

Yes Yawn is successful in one area, no one knows what the f*€k she is selling. In my profession there is absolutely no reason to hide behind bullshit. Marketing is straight forward and to be honest unnecessary because there is a chronic shortage of what we provide. Like undertakers we are never short of customers and although like undertakers are universally disliked, we provide a fairly transparent service.

If you can’t work out the product within seconds you tend to carry on scrolling.

Angrymum22 · 30/05/2025 10:57

Another thing I have noticed, by using the word “her” is she discriminating, limiting her target customer base to women-only. Does she not think that her product is suitable for men. It’s not a sex protected area and probably wouldn’t come under the single sex ruling. She needs to be very careful in light of recent events.
I’m fairly certain that no man in their right mind would seek advice from Yawn.

Spongebobette · 30/05/2025 11:12

I refer you to my previous comment - the whole ‘business’ is based on a ‘be just like me!’ model

😂

Crikeyalmighty · 30/05/2025 11:46

@Spongebobette totally agree- gets away with it more than she deserves due to ‘looking the part’ I think . A lot of women are very impressed by the superficial aspects of other women’s appearance and life etc - even if it’s totally built on straw

Angrymum22 · 30/05/2025 12:42

Yawn is not on the Yawnsville A list ( not even Z list ) so is really limited by her social network. She is well known by the successful local women who would not entertain her, as is Uber. They dress it up as jealousy but they really, really are just not popular.

When Roomie was botted up and lived just down the road from Yawn she used to go to a local business owners networking group but was not taken seriously as a business owner by the others who actually owned and ran REAL businesses!
(I know someone who was part of the group)

FL are introducing an ‘FBO Support Fee’ to help pay for ‘rising operational costs’ of £2.50 a month.

Desperate times! on the FBO only Facebook page bots are falling over themselves to comment how great it is that they can support FL back.

Spongebobette · 30/05/2025 20:24

£2.50 a month????
