Yawn has embraced ChatGPT I see. It’s much easier to describe your job when you actually have one.
I fell down a rabbit hole after reading a piece about Belinda Coleman, ex-wag, whose life, well lifestyle, fell apart after her divorce. Like many of the instant rich they live in the moment, under the assumption that the money will last forever. She has recently written a book about her journey and her new “career” as a qualified manifestation coach. It all seemed quite credible, her rags to riches then back to rags life, until she claims her light bulb moment occurred while on a retreat in Bali. I doubt many flat broke women have access to retreats in Bali unless someone else is paying.
Anyway I came across the latest buzz word in manifesting Law of Assumption. It describes every narcissist I know. In a nutshell
“Assumption Creates Reality:
The core principle is that your assumptions, whether conscious or unconscious, become your reality.
Imagination and Belief:
Actively imagining your desired outcome with vivid detail and believing it to be true are crucial for manifestation.
Living in the End:
Instead of focusing on the lack of your desire, you should mentally and emotionally inhabit the state of having already achieved it.
Inner Dialogue and Affirmations:
Positive self-talk and affirmations can reinforce your chosen assumptions and align your inner world with your desired reality.
Persistence:
Consistency in maintaining your chosen assumption is vital for manifesting your desires. This means holding onto the belief regardless of current circumstances.
The 3D Reality is a Reflection:
Your physical reality is seen as a reflection of your dominant assumptions, rather than a direct cause of your experiences.
In essence, the Law of Assumption suggests that you can actively shape your reality by choosing what you believe to be true about yourself and your world, and then living from that perspective. “
When I was younger this sort of behaviour was commonly referred to as being a “Walter Mitty”, individuals with fantastic dreams but no experience.
