£75

Silvertulips · 20/03/2025 23:20

£87 maybe a bit more - depends on the shop and quality chosen.

Tuffington · 20/03/2025 23:21

I could do this in Lidl for £50

ThisMustBeMyDream · 20/03/2025 23:21

£60

strawlight · 20/03/2025 23:21

Entirely depends on the shop and quality/quantity but somewhere between £65 and £80

Ferfecksackmammy · 20/03/2025 23:23

£62.00

ComfortingSounds · 20/03/2025 23:23

I'm not good with maths, but I'd expect it to be really expensive.

Onlyvisiting · 20/03/2025 23:23

£79...
But as you haven't said which shop or the sizes of some of the bags/packs it could be way different.
Was it lidl or m&s??

Illbefinejustbloodyfine · 20/03/2025 23:24

Going through and adding up a guesstimate of £65 . Could be much more depending where hou shop.

Flippertygibbets · 20/03/2025 23:29

£53 in Aldi

Enough4me · 20/03/2025 23:31

Are we talking Lidl or Waitrose?

Catatedog · 20/03/2025 23:36

About £65

Ursulla · 20/03/2025 23:38

£87

If you went branded on a few goods then £100. Tea and coffee are really expensive now.

Ursulla · 20/03/2025 23:39

Catatedog · 20/03/2025 23:36

About £65

Lol. We're post Brexit now baby.

Namechanged4obviousreasons · 20/03/2025 23:46

About £50 in Aldi or Lidl. Probably £60-£65 in Asda or Tesco.

Nottogetapenny · 20/03/2025 23:46

£78.50.

Canaryhead · 20/03/2025 23:51

It was £85 in Tesco so close

OP posts:
Sockmate123 · 20/03/2025 23:52

£64

LetsPhotographTheLights · 20/03/2025 23:56

Things like tea and coffee can very in price massively depending on brand and size so hard to say.

I’d guess around £80 in somewhere like Tesco or Morrisons,

LetsPhotographTheLights · 20/03/2025 23:58

Sorry just seen you’ve posted £85. Did you think it would be more or less expensive?

BreastfeedingWedding · 21/03/2025 00:03

£130

BreastfeedingWedding · 21/03/2025 00:04

That’s a good shop for £85!

monktasmic · 21/03/2025 00:09

£100? My big shop is now easily £250 with washing hair / clothes / bodies / the house plus butter and larder basics.

stillwaitingtobepaid · 21/03/2025 00:13

Hard to know because bags and packs are not easy to quantify.

Ursulla · 21/03/2025 00:16

I added it up according to what I roughly know I pay in Waitrose less meat, tea and coffee, all of which I buy from independents, then punted another £25 to cover those.

Really since we've been in an inflationary economy I find that shopping at m&S/Waitrose is at least consistent and a lot of the time cheaper for basics, week on week.

Tesco can suck my cock with its three tier pricing. I want to buy food, not do maths GCSE.
