Well, The Chicken Skin with a spoon is no more! YAY! Salon's forever family, never going anywhere, my home is here and leaders like grandparents has shut up shop! Another one bites the dust! apparently no one saw it coming not even the "top leaders" and certainly no one in the 'field'. I hope this is another wake up call for "Business Owners".

Salon & co are all so shocked by the ‘sudden’ demise of Modere but if they’d done any due diligence they would have noticed that the company’s accounts had been overdue since last year… ‘Leaders’ my arse.

yep, they've gone well and truly bust. All assets frozen, so no pending or future commission payments, bonuses or trip reimbursements. orders placed from yesterday won't be fulfilled but money will have been taken.

Saw one person say they quit their full time job 3 weeks ago and went all in with modere. Single parent with 3 kids. That is horrendous. I know any company can go under but employees usually have rights to recover lost wages. With network marketing it just all ends with an email. Brutal

Lots of bots saying this happens in non network marketing companies too and while it can happen that employees turn up to work to find a note on the door they can at least get redundancy pay

I'm amazed Modere survived as long as it did. It’s a shame people don’t do some very simple research but I suppose all the lawsuits and fighting over the last year is in the US and Companies House doesn’t seem to be on bots’ radar. I’m reminded that Modere was formed after the bosses of Neways and one of their wives got locked up for tax fraud as they had been pocketing the money coming in from Australia (or something like that).

So where is Salon’s CV now; Life Tree World, Valentus, Nutra-summat (creation of ex Valentus people), Modere. Should I be adding Traffic Monsoon? It’s a shame people stick with her. Ah yes @BotpottyNutonic. That was it. Blink and you missed it. Easily forgotten (unless you lost your money doing it). I got some aggressive threats from Salon for suggesting that it might not be a cast iron guaranteed success then the following week she fell out with her “life long friends” (dodgy US/British couple who were her V uplines) and went quiet, leaving her new recruits to defend Nutonic when it had already been shelved by the ex-V couple.

Modere in the US is claiming it is reimbursing distributors but what are the chances? They definitely won’t be doing anything of the sort outside the US. The distributors are last in the queue and HMRC is likely to be in front of them in that queue.

I’m attaching a bit of Modere entertainment from a prolific Republic of Ireland Modere bot (who may well be one of the bots having a very bad week). This was in answer to me asking her if she was sure the Choc Chick Shake was vegan or vegetarian (she’d been using these words interchangeably during her weeks of very confidently promoting the shake/brown gloop as vegetarian/vegan).

Salon blocked me (one one account) way back in the Yazoo and chickpea days, when I called her out for no one winning a car and that her 10K cheque wasn't worth the large paper it was printed on.

Nobody here or in the US are going to see their money again. Some people may get their order money back if they ordered via credit card but that's it.

I’ve just watched a very faux sympathy live from our old fave Mr Ninja Networker…he flip flops for the entire live telling people not to give up on MLMs as their next opportunity is only round the corner and tells them to spend the next 48hrs researching (which is exactly the words Salon said on her live this morning so she’s obviously been crying to him) which company suits them.
He then proceeds to tell off all the other MLM folks for networking and contacting the sacked by Modere folks. He says his best friend (the US influencer that died last year) would be laughing as she was sacked from modere but also really happy for all the folks who can now go off and discover new opportunities. Obviously us anti MLM folks are evil gloaters and then he ends the live by telling his followers to write to their corporate teams thanking them and giving them appreciation for all they do for them yet he started the live berating the corporate team at modere as there are rumours (not that he’s spreading rumours) that no-one will paid for any March sales and that’s dreadful.

Oh how kind of Uber to put a special supportive post on her feed to all those poor souls at Modere. She really thinks about others doesn’t she?
