@Wintersgirl yes, you're right! I notice she uses her full first name on Insta but has obviously waited until remarried with a new last name before setting up SM accounts. Can botwatchers (particularly the eagle-eyed @Botpotty) be the only ones who Google her current first name from Insta and current last name plus the words lawyer and Yawnsville? Because the first thing I got was a BBC article about it with mugshot.

I wonder how happy she is about Yawn emphasising the "lawyer" thing? She has since done a teaching qualification of some sort and is careful in her own blurb only to refer to this to explain her history. If Yawn had said "a former teacher" not even Botpotty Holmes would have been on to her.

@DeliaDeetz If Divorce Coach needs guidance about publishing a book with many blank pages then Yawn is her ideal coach. Tricky to write the chapter covering years 2002-2006. What do you say? 'I spent these years in my garden shed with a bottle of tippex'? And what to put for the approximately two years spent sewing mailbags? 'Enjoying time freedom' or 'working from home'?

@Spongebobette She says she is a former lawyer who then qualified as a teacher on LinkedIn which implies a legitimate route, but she is careful not to include the names of the institutions where any qualifications were gained. She says she brings skills from both roles to her coaching.

She has also recently been the judge of a town's Business Awards where she saw for herself the power of surrounding ones of with a network of decent business people!

I doubt Yawn knows the difference between a criminal lawyer and an ex-solicitor who went to prison for fraud and was struck off the roll. I wonder if the divorce coach considered coaching dodgy solicitors and dentists before she settled on her current niche?

I wonder if the ex lawyer with the criminal record is the same “expert” who was giving legal advice to Yawn on her so-called coaching business? Oh … the irony! 🤣

@BSintolerant perhaps when Yawn (who has clearly watched too many American legal dramas) says Divorce Bot is a criminal lawyer perhaps she's actually telling us she's a criminal lawyer, as in a lawyer who is criminal?

There seems to have been very little feedback from the podcast audience or comment so I wonder if anyone is left in the audience.

@Twentytwentyhindsight my money is on her doubling down or at least making sure you're thoroughly blocked and hoping no one saw the post. The chances of your post not being seen are quite high as no one seems very interested in what she has to say. I can't see her taking the moral high ground by telling Divorce Bot that she can no longer collaborate with her because Yawn needs every potential interviewee she can find. It will say a lot if she presses on with the association won't it?

but now she knows she’s dealing with a criminal fraudster she will have to pretend not to know the truth, in order to keep up appearances - and hope the other unlucky girls don’t have the gumption to check up on her credentials, or quietly drop her and pretend she never existed

The thing is everyone knows that these women in Yawn's group are gullible and believe everything that's fed to them, they could quite easily be scammed by this woman because they trust Yawn 100%, I mean if their idol thinks she's ok then why shouldn't they trust her? It has recipe for disaster all over it and if Yawn has any sense (highly unlikely I know) she will give this woman a very wide berth.

That takes me back. I remember that case, I don’t think I ever met him but a colleague of mine was involved with the NHS fraud investigation. These individuals make up a small percentage of the profession but really tar the rest of us. Like the article reports the figures involved were in the hundreds of thousands but the evidence was only solid for a small proportion.

The sad thing is that a large proportion of fraud in the industry is by support staff not the dentist. I had an employee who stole money while taking fees from patients. I think every practice owner I know has had a staff member steal money. One friend had a longstanding member of staff steal money over decades to fuel an expensive lifestyle and she committed suicide when it all surfaced. Another had a nurse who paid for her expensive wedding from dipping in the till on a daily basis.

So Yawn has her own coach with a very dodgy background and is now involved with another dodgy individual

details why the liquidators were called in as Divorce Bot was charged with a criminal offence which if found guilty could result in a prison sentence. She had withdrawn 73K to cover her legal fees and rent rendering the company insolvent and unable to meet it's liabilities. Her contact address is documentment as HMP Eastwood Park.

I’m glad I’m not the only one with a forensic mind. The internet allows you to do basic due diligence. A skill all employers and business owners should have in bucket fulls.

When I employed people I would warn them about their online presence with reference to both their private life and their position in the work place. Breech of confidentiality is a sackable offence in my industry and since clinical staff are registered with the governing body any criminal offence is reported to them and can result in them losing their registration. This includes drink or drug related offences.
So broadcasting every minute of their lives could result in disciplinary proceedings.

I suspect that Yawns airport outburst was the beginning of the end for her in FL as it impacted directly on the company. The beginning of the end, as we predicted.

I know this is nothing to do with MLM as such but it is indicative of her arrogance and self-centredness and those are character traits very much at the heart of long term MLM involvement.
