@ItWasnaMeGuv such a careless cut and paste MLM favourite for Yawn to use given her circumstances! Not only has she got the £200k+ loan but she also has a mortgage (on a house desperately needing major work), probably has the new Not-a-Rangey on the never never and I'm sure insisted on a princess-y wedding. So she has all the burdens anyway.

The only saving she has made is on a student loan having famously only ever read one book. My son is off to university in a few weeks time shouldering a big loan and it's quite a prospect (and I'm very grateful I'm of a generation who didn't have to do this) but it's nothing like £200k+ and hopefully it will mean he won't need to join an MLM (though he'd never have to pay the student loan back if he did join FLP!).

YouOKHun · 21/08/2024 17:59

@Twentytwentyhindsight that made me laugh though of course it would not have been very funny for you at the time. All that FLP toothpaste down the drain makes me wonder if there were reports of any ecological catastrophies in your neck of the woods, mass extinction of pondlife through Aloe Vera ingestion and swallowing other shite, much as is happening on land.

ticktock19 · 21/08/2024 19:16

Crikey @Twentytwentyhindsight, thank goodness your kids had you on side to help them avoid all that grim aloe...that must have been pretty grim for you all though.
Yawns 12 week programme looks utterly shite, pointless and very google-able

@YouOKHun These are moments I laugh about too. They represent the small victories here and there, and should be celebrated as such.
Less funny was the financial, social and relational toll over those years, especially for two kids in their formative years.

YouOKHun · 22/08/2024 08:44

@Twentytwentyhindsight Awful. It’s really scary that someone can be manoeuvred and manipulated into acting against the best interests of their family, especially their children. There is something very wrong when a company that rewards the best manipulators and knowingly causes damage is allowed to continue unchecked.

YouOKHun · 22/08/2024 14:13

Yawn is doing her annual 'I failed all but two of my GCSEs so don't worry you can still be a six figure income earner like me'.

How did she get a B in English Lit when had not read a whole book until last week? How did she pass Geography GCSE when she thinks she has backpacked across India in half a day and can manage to travel anywhere without a meltdown? I can see she didn't get a maths GCSE because she has added to many zeros onto what she says she currently earns.

She's a warning to others about what can happen to someone with no GCSEs and a joint honours in narcissism and grifting

YouOKHun · 22/08/2024 14:15

*Can't manage to travel
*Too many zeros

10weekcountdown · 22/08/2024 16:11

😀@YouOKHun . Here’s a maths question. If you have 7011 followers and only 6 people give your latest post a like. What percentage of your followers are not interested in your posts?

Sugarplum48 · 22/08/2024 17:51

And when you look at the calibre of those 7011 followers it speaks volumes. She has in reality little to no following just weird random Indian men for the most part.

99.92% of yawns adoring fans could not give a shiny shite about the nonsense she spouts.

ticktock19 · 22/08/2024 20:05

@whiterangey I have no idea if you ever check in on these threads but if you do then your comment on sleazes helicopter ride made me laugh so much.

YouOKHun · 22/08/2024 20:14

@10weekcountdown If you have 7011 followers and only 6 people give your latest post a like and most of your business related posts receive similarly dismal levels of engagement it means there’s no way you can be generating enough interest to support the millionaire status you claimed only yesterday. What percentage of the views are bot watchers and fellow bots who loathe each other?

Twentytwentyhindsight · 22/08/2024 21:03

Her latest one about free membership to her 12 week plan if you buy a 'discounte gut cleanse has gathered a smattering of potential takers, until you realise they are all already FLP bots who already have more unsold C9 boxes in their homes than they can shake a stick at...
This one ain't got even pretend legs. I see it being quietly dropped before the much heralded start date.

Gems1210 · 22/08/2024 22:11

Long time lurker (8 years) but rare poster!
just came to comment on the yawn posts about GCSE’s not being important.
oh but they are!
i Am 44 - I have a 22 year experience within local government working in adult health and social care. I am basically an assistant social worker and assistant occupational therapist.
i contribute to society and clearly have 22 years experience. I do work well beyond what should be expected of those qualified professionals. I am on approx £33k, I live in the south east.
last year, a long awaited opportunity became available for an apprenticeship to do a degree, paid for through work whilst maintaining your salary. There was a scramble of applications . Guess what..: the experience meant nothing , though was acknowledged but you HAD to have a gcse in maths and English. No questions!
I was the only applicant who thankfully did have those qualifications and so I got on the course.
those qualifications were obtained in 1995 - I’d fail a maths gcse if I had to sit it now, but it was essential. Almost 30 year old basic qualifications have mattered. They were essential.
My fellow contenders have had to sign up to courses obtain those qualifications now.

YouOKHun · 22/08/2024 22:42

Good for you @Gems1210 and you're right, exams do matter. They're not the only route in life but it's harder without them, probably harder without exams now than it was when I did O Levels when more people went straight into jobs at sixteen without too much reference to O levels or CSEs (as it was then).

Yawn is hoping to sweep up a few young recruits with her annual GCSE post. If only some of her followers knew that her success is an illusion which only came about very briefly due to a couple of bits of financial luck that were then positioned as the result of involvement in FLP but were nothing to do with it and simple lucky timing of being involved before MLMs started faltering/collapsing. There is no talent and no business acumen in what she does. The only talent she has is the ability to not give a shit about anyone else. She lives in an echo chamber and believes her own story of her success.

She was crowing about her daughter smashing her A Levels the other day and good for Daughter of Yawn, that's her ticket out of the MLM world inhabited by her mother. A world Daughter of Yawn is clearly keen to keep at a distance.

Spongebobette · 23/08/2024 12:13

I remember Yawn saying her daughter couldn’t wait to join her in business as soon as she was old enough

is she off to university? Hope so, I know that the SU is aware of and warns agains MLMs

Imagine being in Yawn's kids' shoes, watching her post not just excruciating shit day in, day out, but patent lies that they know are lies and know are lies made in order to con people...

YouOKHun · 23/08/2024 15:21

Mr Scamaloupolis has emerged from his summer hibernation to tell the world that recognition days are getting even better. You get:

A pin (50p cost to FLP)
A sash (50p cost to FLP)
To go on stage (no cost to FLP)
Recognition in the form of applause (no cost to FLP)
And coercion to try and buy product (£1 offset against a spend unlikely to be less than a tenner).

Roll on September!

Spongebobette · 23/08/2024 16:05

Oh the sashes are back are they 🙄

Spent many years with one of those ridiculous pieces of tat hanging from my ex's reading light above our bed.
She treated it like some sort of talisman, representing not just the pinnacle of her success, but the guarantor that further success was just around the corner...
Spoiler alert- it wasn't.

YouOKHun · 23/08/2024 16:39

You're making that sash sound more like a noose hanging ominously above you. @Twentytwentyhindsight!

FLP has announced that it will be sharing testimonials on its site in an area dedicated to tall tales of current success, so that new bots can go and read all about the fabulous successes people are having (present tense).

The testimonials are available on the FBO's dashboard so not visible to anyone who can point out they are fiction. Normally the lies are bot to bot these days with FLP blaming the bots for any lies when they come to light. However, if FLP is sharing testimonials on its own site they are bound to be using people who can no longer be doing very well. It would be interesting to see who they're wheeling out and how misleading the testimonials are. Screen shots of direct lies on the FLP website would be I interesting to see.

I always thought the sashes and parading across stage were supposed to make women feel like they’d won a beauty pageant

it struck me as so culturally foreign - so American - just like the rallies

no company in the UK ever held annual rallies - perhaps a conference but no rah rah

Just seen Yawn’s story on FB today and couldn’t help but “roar” with laughter at her faux pas. She really does need to use spell check, I’m not sure Mr Yawn will be over impressed at her claim that he made her “raw” today.
And why is he in London without her I wonder, could be actually making some real money

Back in the 90s when I was briefly a bot I went to a couple of the rally-type events. At the time, we lived near a famous sporting arena, which was taken over by Jehovah Witnesses once a year for their rallies, and the bot rallies reminded me very much of that. All very evangelical and brainwashy.

FLP are struggling a bit with selling the 40 euro tickets for the GR in Paris. They claim to have sold 275 having moved the so-called deadline to purchase due to lack of interest. The lucky bot who spends €40 on a ticket will also be entered into a number of draws for a cash prize 'that could go towards covering your accommodation, travel and eating costs in Paris'. The €40 covers being in the room, it doesn't include attendance at the workshop.

So what is it likely to cost at the very minimum?
These are very much estimates and conservative but Manchester to CDG return would be c£150, the train CDG to La Défense is c.€15 each way, a hotel for two nights is c.£180-200 (a cost they may be shared), food has got to be c.£80. Who knows what the cost of getting to the airport in the UK is, travel insurance, etc. All up bots are being invited to spend €40 in order to then spend north of £300. Any guest who is invited along and doesn't pay the ticket cost still needs to pay generously to be part of the crowd scene.

Can someone explain the attraction to me?
