child benefit not paid

hi i normally receive my payments every monday for one child (4yo) i’ve received no letters or anything and had payment as normal last week. Although my payments are on mondays, i receive them saturday due to my bank, but this week it hasn’t come through and it’s not my bank as carers has come through like every other week as normal. No change of address etc and her dad wouldn’t of put a claim in and don’t think i can contact them till monday so stressed at what’s going on

I'm with Barclays and mine arrived some point on Sunday morning, which I thought was odd. The transaction is now showing as dated Mon 3rd at 00:00.

Hope everyone who hasn't had theirs gets it asap today.

But then HMRC said only 30% of those haven't received their payment.

We receive it and pay it back as it entitles me to my national insurance stamp as a stay at home parent.

I’m so sorry to hear people are sat without food/formula etc. Can you reach out to your local food bank? I donated baby formula earlier today, horrified to see it has security tags.

It’s an absolute joke they need to sort this out quick, I spoke to them and they are not issuing any emergency payments until they find out why people haven’t received it. But surely if they just issued the emergency payments for people and we end up receiving two payments then just don’t pay the following month. They can’t expect people to wait all day when people need stuff for their kids

People who are happy with their own lot in life don't concern themselves with the financial circumstances of others (never mind concern themself to the point of speechlessness)...

I count my blessings when I see threads like this. I hope everyone relying on their CB has it paid asap 🤞

I sincerely apologise if my comments ave hurt anyone. It was not intentional. But, being a first world country, I can't believe that so many people in the uK can't live for a day if their weekly benefit payment is delayed by a day ! People are claiming that their child had to walk to school, child has gone to school without lunchbox.

Are these mums so reliant on weekly payments that they can't live a day without these payments?
