Hi!
Has anyone been able to get through to HMRC?
I've tried calling and keeps cutting off. I have checked my HMRC app and stated that payment had been made however I have received nothing.
(bank with starling)
thanks.

Majority of us will work as I do full time but this is a payment we are entitled to . Monday morning and you are sad enough to comment on this.

Maybe they are thinking of applying for it, maybe they used to get it and wondered if it had gone up. And even if not I don't see why it's so terrible to ask how much it is. It's good to have an understanding of the government support available.

Thank you- yes, exactly this. I like to know what government support is available to people, especially with an election coming up. We’re not entitled to it but I support others receiving adequate help (though it doesn’t sound like much to be honest 😞).

Anybody making under £60k a year with children are entitiled to claim, it isn’t much but it certainly does massively help some families.

Skimner · 03/06/2024 08:41

For those who are stating that we shouldn’t be “crying” as we are apparently claiming to sit on our bottoms. I receive £102 a month in benefits. That is all
my daughters milk is £18.00 a tub and she goes through 1.5 a week. It doesn’t even cover that.

so unless you have something helpful to say, take your negativity elsewhere

Don’t ever feel bad or explain why you claim anything you ARE entitlited to! The gov would not give people this money unless it was needed, don’t let narrow minded people let you think any different 🙂

I get paid mine early and was wondering if it stopped but I seen they had this problem a few years ago having 1 of their banks in general going down as they use numerous ones to pay out of I guess 1 of them have technical issues again but good to know thank you

My job is to relay the available information and to forward on reported issues. I'm good at my job but I can only give information I have, if the technical teams aren't giving us the information mostly because they are still working on it then I have nothing to pass on other than say we are aware and its being dealt with.

What @Wilks6543? How is she slack at her job? Why don’t you explain exactly how the call handlers can fix this then? Which button should they push?

I know some people are very worried, but you have to be quite deeply stupid to think that anyone answering the phones at HMRC can fix this. Their systems are showing that payments have been sent, so their staff need to go investigate it and speak to their own banking providers before they even know what the problem is. Until they know the problem, they can’t fix it.

Vicliss2017 · 03/06/2024 08:44

Mine not gone in either, (to the person that said we should all work) unfortunately I’m disabled after an operation went wrong leaving me severely disabled and unable to work, you shouldn’t put anyone down until you’ve walked a mile on their shoes you have no idea of someone s situation or how they got there (majority of the time through no fault of their own) I hope you never have a struggle and need help because if you have your way there would be no help available

Gemmalouiise92 · 03/06/2024 08:44

I've not recievedine today either and phone lines are down xx

Madisnttheword · 03/06/2024 08:45

So I received mine, I'm paid 4 weekly, but my friend who is paid weekly didn't receive hers. She spoke to them this morning. They have assured her it will be cleared by 6pm. Said it was a technical glitch. We will see though

Theredoubtableskins · 03/06/2024 08:45

@UmElise.

Why? They’re saying the exact same stuff that’s been said on here. And everyone can see for themselves on twitter. Why do we need to read those particular comments?

It think it’s bots ruffling a few feathers to blow this post up.. but why?🤔

Because it’s very insulting! Most moms work and those that don’t physically cant. My son finds school difficult and has a lot of accidents so having to be sent home a lot and unfortunately no finance position I have worked in a loud me to continuously leave work when I like for any reason 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m on maternity leave now which again is extremely low income and a lot of moms are in the same position.

Sorry I think you misread my message it was not aimed at you at all, I meant why are bots trying to cause so much stress on here 🙂

Luna0666 · 03/06/2024 08:48

Probably to give them time to fix the issue _

LateDecemberLove · 03/06/2024 08:49

I'm with Natwest and received mine as usual this morning

mitogoshi · 03/06/2024 08:49

Hmrc have put out a message to say they are working on the issue and will update later this morning.

I know there's a lot of worried people here but I do believe them when they say they are working hard on it
