child benefit not paid

hi i normally receive my payments every monday for one child (4yo) i’ve received no letters or anything and had payment as normal last week. Although my payments are on mondays, i receive them saturday due to my bank, but this week it hasn’t come through and it’s not my bank as carers has come through like every other week as normal. No change of address etc and her dad wouldn’t of put a claim in and don’t think i can contact them till monday so stressed at what’s going on

I think they are not reading the threads 🤣🤣🤣

I get it weekly, not every 4 weeks

Some people get theirs weekly

I haven't had mine today either.

No it's not hidden it's online for all to see so don't see why they can't go find out for themselves

Mine hasn't gone in either I bank with Lloyd's. Meant to be today and nothing

If anybody manages to get through to the Child Benefit line could you please update us all on here with what they say?

If someone gets through. Post on here and update us all as phone lines are busy what a surprise

With NatWest and no payment today

I’ve tried ringing HMRC rang at 8 they said they’re having technical difficulties then hung up tried ringing again and it says line busy so won’t even ring

Yes please that would be great, I'm the same starting to panick as I rely on this money every Monday to put electricity into my house for the kids

I was ringing way before and still can't get through just cut me off and says to busy I bank with nationwide still not gone in and rang and saying nothing in system for today or tomorrow absolute joke!.

It's really not that big a deal to ask on here though? I don't get why the sensitivity about it

Yes which is why I wrote first “if you get paid 4 weekly”. Some people are now in full blown panic by the looks of this thread, and it’s just about trying to help not spread it as they may not have even realised totally. That’s all.

8th time trying and it finally accepted my call just to tell me that all call handlers are busy, and they’re unable to accept my call. Then cut me off.

I think we’re all going to be here a while.

You would think they would generate a message to avoid getting inundated with calls! 🫣seems as though CB don’t know what’s going on either !

Did people receive their payments? Mine was due today but hasn’t gone in yet. my payment history on the hmrc app shows payment for today though 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yes it’s probably a case of all was well when everyone finished work on Friday, and then somethings happened over the weekend like a system issue that’s stopped payments from going out, so they’re all going to be finding out about it this morning when the calls come in. I wouldn’t want to be working that job today lol!

Not very helpful but... its the 3rd today and I still have not got mine.. normally goes in at midnight the nite before
